How to balance and keep each style at the same volume? because each style has high dynamic volumes for some styles and low for others.... for example, I connect my beatbuddy mini 2 directly to the soundboard... I use the ROCK style, I adjust the volume.... but when I change it to FUNK or BLUES the volume is lower and interferes with the performance when playing live... because I'm using it in bars and events with voice and guitar.
What kind of amp should I run this to? A bass amp or guitar amp? I have a pedal board with several other pedals that I play through my guitar amp so not sure if I can/should run this beat machine through the same system.
You could, a bass amp would probably sound better as you'll have a HF driver and better bass response. A guitar cabinet is mainly aimed at midrange frequencies, so it can do the drums ok, but it won't be as good as it could be.
Thanks for your kind words. I dont need to read the manual to tell you that I just used it on a track some days ago and the drums are not gridded. At least the drum groove that I used. It was gridded on the downbeats, and the 16th notes were “human”. Thanks again, youre welcome to buy one and check for yourself.
@@CamiloVelandia Just received one and I find the same as you, gridded on downbeat! I see what you mean now I have tried it out more! Cheers I enjoyed your post!
great job. I have the mini 2 and the Footswitch. what software did you use to edit the video with all the instruments into one video? thx. keep up the good work
No ... Stereo is over rated unless you’re gonna have head phones on all the time when you listen to it l have the big beat buddy and use headphones and can’t hear different drum pieces coming from different sides I wouldn’t worry about it the mini 2 will record just fine the sounds are the same as the big beat buddy
I've just received my box today and the switch is not working I can't change the tempo Or select song it just stays on genre . Any help please Ron phillips
Great example of song creation when using the Beat Buddy at 3:45!! Awesome content! Thank you!

Can we connect this to Focusrite and do live recording?
Excellent demo!!!! I'm seriously considering getting one!!!!
Can we add own loops??
OK for home practice.. Not for performance cuz no sequential memory for the patterns for your live set. Sounds are nominal.
Great video man, thanks
I ordered one today!
I think this version is in fact quantized.
Great playing man ;)
Nice jam
Awesome review! Thanks Camilo!

It IS very much quantized! Check the manual before giving your EXPERT opinion!

@@CamiloVelandia damn I really digged the flute sound, hoped for a cheap pedal... but that's a big nope haha

Nice toy Camilo.
What pedal made your LP sound like a synth?
Axe FX 3... it has a synth block where you can choose from a few different synth sounds
@@CamiloVelandia Thanks, it sounds great!

Hey Ron. Very odd. Go on their site and fill out the support section. I know they’ll take care of you. Good luck
Did they fix you up or what ?
Great review!!!
what is the max tempo speed on the mini 2 ? the old one was 250
Who are you playing music for, hummingbirds and chipmunks?
@@leeknivek the mini is useless...that is why I switched to the standard...at least for me.
@@mario66country I haven't tried either but yeah the mini looks like they removed too many features.
Busy with Paris;)))))
Pat Metheny eat ya heart out
can the intro of the drum be eliminated?
Marco lo Polito yes, use the external footswitch. Pause mode
Not good for live shows if you have to keep bending down to change settings between songs
"you know"
Fast-forward to 3:15 to get past the blah blah radda blah.
16 bit? unexceptionable.
Tanto pedo para eso? No mames güey
This sounds terrible
