So to change your character at the school you need to find a locker in the very back of the school by going up the stairs to the right of deuce and keep going straight back until you are in the last rim and find the locker to change charecters

Am I a year late.. yes, but if you go to the right stair case when you talk to dice go up those stairs and at the end of the hall there is a door, go through to the back and there is a locker that you can use to change your character. Hope that made sense
DUDE! I just remembered in the entry to the high school with the stair case to the balcony was a little platform between the two options of balcony and right there I was able to glitch out of the map by holding onto the wall's edge somewhere and just crawled around that wall then fell into the void. I forgot I did that a lot.

you press the minus sign on the wiimote to change characters in the lantern but at monster high you go to the locker to change characters
