and parries are kinda tricky to pull off
Everybody says they're easy with arm of darkness, but I think arm is harder than basic attacks lol
You can use willow the wikes to practice your timing, and the window does feel a little bit wider with AoD. I wind up accidentally doing parries more with it and missing the follow-up then I do normally

Great stuff! I never dreamed of no damage in ff! When fighting the secret bosses in ffx you might have to sacrifice one or two party members, imagine fighting them with this combat system!

For the life of me I'll never understand how some of you guys get this good at games. I would have never dreamed of a no damage anything back in Nintendo/Genesis/SNES days. Now the most advanced games ever drop and 4 days later someone on youtube has 0 damage, world speed record, this game may as well be reading my mind level feats accomplished.
Tell me about it... I have been using one of the timely accessories for Torgal... i just remove it and have been trying to get my brain and hands to be able to command the doggo which usually end up in my going through potions by accident or dying because i didnt switch to medicines quick enough. It is bad enough for me keeping track of what eikon i have equipped and what one is magic/physical counters. No idea how people get this good, especially this quickly. Then again, i am sure by the time they got to NG+ and are doing these they have practiced already a bit and know the patterns... We also dont know how many tries it really was before making it into the video either.
Don’t be discouraged. This guy makes a living playing these games. He sits at home memorizing boss fights moves then streams himself after 100 tries. Trust me he got ass kicked many of times

Man this game is so good. This would be a fully-fledged Devil May Cry game if you could use all Eikons at the same time.
DMC limits the weapons you can use to 3. Although the mod, style switch, is such a good inclusion to the game, so much so that it stayed to the following sequels.

It's really not story is bad combat is basic and soooo repetitive no elemental weaknesses or anything just bash every ability of cooldown and the side quests don't even get me started how bad they are

It does take practice I’m starting to be able to hit them with normal enemies tho. bosses sometimes I just dont be having the potions to risk every hit lol
yea you can parry virtually everything surprisingly besides some huge moves or some big charges.....even alot of the charge attacks you can parry with magic burst
Parry is nothing more than you and the opponents attacks landing at the same time. Just a timing is all keep grinding dude.
Yeah, parrying in this game is really weird. The timing isn't the same as other games. It's like you're parrying just after the enemy telegraphs their attack. Not a moment later. Keep practicing!!
I also manage to do alot of parrys on bosses and normal enemies. I don't know how tough 😂😂😂😂.

Great damage! Question, instead of judgement bolt which only hits once, did you try lightning rod before the gigaflare? It procs the lightning rod on each hit of gigaflare creating even more damage
lightning rod is more for doing stagger dmg than actual damage, and judgement bolt hits twice if you have it upgraded

I've only just started my Final Fantasy NG+ and I honestly can't wait to do this kind of stuff. Currently level 49 with my main Eikons being Phoenix, Garuda and Bahamut. I also haven't mastered any attacks for use on other Eikons because I'm not quite sure what to mix. I was already thinking about using Judgement Bolt and Gigaflare on a single one for insane damage, but this video made me realize how insane they are with Odin for the level 5 Zantetsuken, so I'll try that in a moment!
I recomend megaflare, gigaflare and the electric trap ball for maximum damage, all of them at the same time obliterate health bars.
@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 Damn, I'll try that at some point then. I'm currently just before Stonhyrr and sitting at level 80. Using Phoenix with Rising Flames + Ignition, Garuda with Whicked Wheel + Diamond Dust and Odin with Gigaflare + Heaven's Cloud. This setup has been obliterating bosses, scoring well above 200K with staggers
Dread Comet is the Berserker Chocobo in final fantasy Xiii-2.....they consume a lot of chocobo fruits when you still mounting them. each artifact you colect decrease their consumption. each time you moun them...sound a heavy metal music. when you mount the normal chocobo, sounds a ritmic enthusiastic music.

You can assign a eikon ability to any other eikon as long as it is mastered

Just open menu go to abilities and upgrade an eikon ability twice
It should be available to be equipped on any eikon after that
Finally a game where you can keep using ultimate after ultimate abilities. Basic hits are so outdated.
I cold snap into a 50% dancing steel for regular damage before and can zantetsuken twice after judgement bolt and giga flare

Exept that odin's zantetsuken cant be dodge and blocked unlike vergil's jce that can be dodge and blocked

Does make me wonder if Square has an issue with making it so that there are controllable party members with their own movesets and etc.......well I suppose they did that with ff7 remake tho right? Also if my memory serves me FF15 patched in fully controllable party members later right?
Main difference is that Clive's moveset is like a 1000 times more complex and deep than what Cloud or Noctis can do, plus everything else in 16

Why do you usually do a parry or precision dodge before doing max Odin blade, does it do more damage or is it just cooler lol
parry or precision dodge increase the zantetsuken level if you hit the counter it also very cool lol
Partially just cool and partially because you have to hold the attack button to ready zantetsuken, so doing it after a parry or a dodge reduces that time a bit.

It’s Zantetsuken and you get level 5 once you fully upgrade the Arm of darkness and it’s the strongest ability in the game
How do you have zan maxed out before every fight?
You can max it out in battles you had before and you will keep the same level until you use zantetsuken

Just to clarify, his 400k are only possible cause he is lvl 100 with ultima weapon, there's no way you can do even close to that damage at the base game
@@paulomartins1813 I did up to 270k in base game, but the combo was far better than this one it was like megaflare + impulse just before staggering then diamond dust, zantetsuken lvl 5, judgment bolt, lighting rod + dancing steel, zantetsuken lvl 5 again then gigaflare
@@DevWSJ yeah I had a 220k at lvl 52 on the beginning of ng+ but it wasn't perfect, so far I didn't really try to max out the damage anyway, just wanted to clarify cause some people may feel bad or think they are bad cause of this

Once you already craft it.... I guess you can use it in any mode.... You can only get the recipe for the ultima weapon in ff mode
