My dad had a V65 Magna. Those 1100's were fast.
@@angrytater2456 I had a V65 Sabre with the HondaLine faring. Like on the CBX, nobody cared then but it would be way cool now. I did enjoy it though, I put about 30K miles on it or so. It was a 1986 I think.
I will have to agree in the late 80s early 90s Honda just knew how to put awesome paint jobs together in their motorcycle line
Those 500 turbos are wheelie machines.
Badass! Can’t go wrong with a Honda. I love my Suzukis but those are some cool bikes right there. The turbos 💪

Without disrespecting new bikes too much, new bikes SUCK! Low tech cheap new bikes suck but it's the way the world works. These old bikes are smiles for miles!

I bought a brand new 83 V65 Magna (same engine that is in that Sabre) when I graduated high school.. Looking back I'm surprised that thing didn't kill my young dumb ass lol.

Yeah mate I'm in Australia back in the mid '90s till early '00 we used to get some Mad Japanese Domestic Market JDM 'Grey Imports' they'd call them! Lots of Cool Dirt bikes & Mostly 250cc to 400cc Road bikes Vfr400r Rvf400rr Cbr400 Cbr250rr Tzr250's Zxr250rr Fzr250r - Mostly for P or L Plate Riders! No CB1's though!
Many ended up on the Race Track - My Dad used to race a Honda RVF400r basically a Baby RC45 400cc V4! I got a Honda CRM250r Road Trail - It was like a CR250r MX bike with Lights! I nearly bought a '90 TZR250r 2 Stroke Reverse Barrel model! I regret not getting it to this day! It was Non Compliant so I passed it up, the bike was in Almost New Condition!👌
Ironically the Bloke that imported most of the "Grey Imports" back then was an Irishman called 'John the Bomber'🤨 - I Never asked why he was called "The Bomber" I'm guessing he might have been Provo in the IRA or something! Nice guy all the same!! He personally had a Rare as Rocking Horse Crap Honda NR750r Oval Piston V4! & Was an Amazing MX Rider until he got Smashed Up! My Dad bought quite a few Bikes from 'The Bomber' Wholesale straight outta the Shipping Container! -Cheers👍🍺🇦🇺
@@purebloodheretic4682 funny cause most of what u listed I also had or grew up driving fixing and selling, weird stuff like spáda 250 mc19 mc22 zeal 250 cb1s cb400 Superfour and vtec versions vfr400 cbr400 rr Ireland has a weird obsession with jap cars and bikes been importing since the 80s and has lead to many many cool bikes and cars ending up over here, does sound like a rá man name tó bé fair 😁

@@ar2043 399cc inline 4 with about 60hp they are basicly a bare nó fairings cbr 400 next version was a cb400 superfour which was more street than race positioning over the cb1 which had clip on bars and was very race overall
Some gorgeous bikes in that shipment. I haven't heard the name Honda Hurricane in many years. I forgot all about them. That Honda V-65 Sabre is one gorgeous bike. Looks brand new.
Nice haul, ill take the interceptor. In about 82, my friend traded his 1300 Kawasaki on a Honda 500 turbo. He wanted something cool to go to bike week with.

Some really beautiful bikes on that trailer! I remember when those Turbos came out! The V65 Sabre is close to my heart. I had a '84 V65 Sabre for a number of years. And I put a NOS '85 Hondaline fairing (similar to the CBX fairing) on it, with the rest of the '85 painted parts!
Man Sr, you are right. They just don't make bikes that look like this anymore. When you are talking about the rims on the CX 500 turbo, right at 2:06 Will you just look at the design? Not only the color like you say, but the design. The way the spokes split into two… Man what a good look!!!!! 👍😍😍

Maybe it's a young man's ego thing for repli racers ...but my last three bikes were Honda VFR 800s . I know they aren't the Ricky trick repli-racers but I road my three from coast to coast , Chicago to Key West at over 100 plus and never had one in the shop except for new tires , chains and sprockets . The perfect bike between racer replicas and standards . I laughed at guys on wanna be racers who had to stop at 75 miles and 100 miles to unlock their necks and backs . Guys who do the distance on the roads know the only bikes they see are Harleys , BMWs and these Intercepters and the only two who can do 125 plus all day are the Hondas and BMW's ....kings of the road . The honda cbx is the best sounding bike ever made. It sounds like an f1 car...amazing.

the cx 500 brings back high school to me we all had cx or ft 500s before we jumped to the hurricanes n nijas and anyone that loves bikes is gonna watch the whole video the best part of the videos when we dont see your ugly mugg lol love ya buddy
