- Installing a transgo shift kit in our 46re transmission behind our twin turbo 5.2 magnum. We turned the boost up on our twin turbo dodge ram 1500 and definitely needed this transmission upgrade to try and keep the almost stock automatic transmission alive under all the eBay twin turbo Boost!

While you were in there... billet servo parts would have been along the way. I just lost reverse because the rear servo piston shattered.
Just found this while doing deep research on the internet, watched all your Whitey vids, some vids from a few other TH-camrs, and now feel I have the confidence to move forward with my car, I have a stock 318 Magnum sitting on the frame of a 95 Dakota with an 86 Jaguar XJ6 body, going to beef up that engine and really make her growl! Thanks for these vids was worried that I didn't have the high tech setup I see in other car channels, you guys have me confidence I can do this at home with mostly my hand tools and some commen sense. Keep up the vids want to see more!

My 98 4x4 2500 has 210,000 and some change. The trans definitely needs some attention. And would love to do a shift kit. I need that first to second chirp

235k on reman. original trans lasted 60k. Complete rebuild last week

I'm hoping you can help me with my 2001 dodge ram, I put a 46re tranny from a 99 dodge, converted the wiring harness and solenoid, put a new torque converter in it, and also put in a TFOD-HD2 KIT in it to beef it up a little the tranny had 250,xxxx miles on it and it needed it other wise I wouldn't have even messed with it. filled it back up test drove it, stopped to top off the tranny, all of a sudden it just starts backfiring barely running limped it back to the house and the dipstick said it needed more, started right back up put it reverse still ran, neutral killed it, now drive, 2, and 1 just dies, but will still run in park, can you please tell me how to troubleshoot what I need to do. You're my only hope at this point, in my 5 seconds of glory it ran pretty good but there's no check engine light and my scanner isn't picking anything up either, I think it's just an adjustment on the linkage, when I put it in drive it feels like it's in between gears and I also noticed I had to wiggle the gear shift in order to find drive. and i had to keep it in 1st to keep it running to get home. the other 2 gears just spits and sputters and dies, but I just wanted to ask you cause I love watching your vids and your knowledge far out ways anyone in my town so that's why I'm coming to the source, watching you is what helped me start this mess lol, I've always wanted this truck to be a beast and it almost is, I just can't figure this part out and I've been stuck on it for weeks now its the only issue I have left to be able to go rock crawling any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi guys I have a road to use guys in a little while my truck is finally almost done but I had a question how do I wire in my wide bane O2 sensors my truck was only equipped with one front one rear but I'm a little confused how to wire it in two wydebans so the stock computer can read both Banks do I even need to I appreciate your support thank you

What lifkit should I slap on the old rampig and I wasn't planning on any higher than 6, what height and brand do you suggest for mostly drivability I still want to drive normal on the highway

Stock engine? Just the trans go kit and someone who’s knows what there doing when rebuilding the trans

What's the difference between a shift kit and reprogram kit..?
A shift kit just hardens shifts. A reprogramming kit fixes known issues with the transmission and give you options for shift firmness and rpms when it shifts
Just got a 1997 Dodge 1500 single cab short box with the 5.2L 5speed, With a 4in lift and 35/12.5/17 tires. Trying to figure out what to do with her besides use some parts for my 1995 Dodge 1500 single cab short box with the 5.9L automatic transmission, with a 6in lift and 35/12.5/17 tires.

Would this type of install be worthwhile on a stock truck? I have a 96 with 80000 original miles and by no means is it shifting badly (for these types of trucks). But I want longevity and to keep this thing as nice and functional as possible. It does have the 5.9 so I'm not sure if this kit is interchangeable.
Not a kit this is 100% custom if you check the playlist out on the channel. And if you want longevity just keep it stock my stock 99 is at 253,xxx miles and still kicking

Hey so I talked with my mechanic and he said I should install a shift kit on mines because it puts a lot of stress of the tranny so should I still put on the shift kit or nah I shouldn’t ?
It’s not a shift out it’s a reprogramming kit. And yes if you want the transmission to live longer than 100,000 miles.

Are you running race gas in it or just regular pump gas I'm pretty sure that much boost you must be running high octane right

Dude I wish my truck shifted like that. I just rebuild mine and it shifts like a soft piece of shit. 1-2 is ok. But 2-3 and kickdown sucks..

I have an 01 Durango and a 97 Ram 1500 4x4. Both have a 5.9l. Mechanically the same with a few different electronics computer/sender parts

Nice, my 99 had one def helped, I made to buy more stickers I seriously can't find mine. I have to go back I missed a few vids having some life issues wasn't able to get to watch the last 2 and I def want to see the hemi vid since I spent 8000$ on the truck and 6000$ to put in a new hemi yes I got raped but whatever it won't happen twice.
