    Have had a Total Gym sitting in the basement for years. I could never wrap my head around following the manual that came with it, or even other videos that go too fast or don’t show you how to change the machine. THANK YOU for making a video that is truly for beginners! At 60 years of age, I finally feel I can do a routine!!

    Great job! At 64 years old and my first day back on new Total gym, I was able to follow along up to 36:21. Slight leg cramping, so I had to sit the rest out. Tomorrow I will finish the upper body part. Eventually I will get it all together 😅. I’ve done this all up to 20 years ago, but now I’m back to the Total Gym with a vengeance! It worked before so I KNOW it will work again. Thank you both for the help❤️

    😂 I’m dying laughing because Lynn is me when I’m doing Rosalie’s workouts! So I feel her pain!
    I only do 10 minutes of all of the exercises above, because I need more core workouts than legs and back!
    Unfortunately this doesn’t provide a lot of core workouts!

      Don’t underestimate working your upperbody for amazing body transforming results… I feel pull-ups and chin ups and cable rows have done more for my strength and body shape than squats.     The thing is it is actually FUN to use...I need the squat stand for mine because I just have the pilates bar and use it as a make shift squat stand...I just do 10 to 20 reps of different types of squats and rowing and all on mine though...

    Very nice! Rosalie is there a way to target the VMO on the Total Gym? Mine is really weak.

    My total gym foot deck is a lot smaller than yours. Will my squat form alignment still be correct when my feet are not placed as far out?

      Unless you have knee issues you should be fine! Treat yourself to the XL squat stand - it will fit on your total gym!

      Challenge last until you get results desired and then you continue doing it

      Lower the better-or as low as your knees allow!

    Also, do u recommend the ab crunch accessory for beginners? I’ve tried it and can do it but I really feel it in my back. When totally stretched back it does feel good on abdomen. Thank you!

      Have you tried it on level 1.. if it is too challenging… do seated ab twists with cables for your abdominals.

    I don’t have the base at the end of mine. Any ideas how else I could do these squats? This would be great for my new (replaced in feb)

      You could place the bottom of total gym up against a wall. Then place your feet on the wall to do your squats.

      If knees are an issue make sure you use the XL squat stand - higher foot position is much gentler on the knees- you can also play with your foot position- trining toes outward may lessen stress.

    I can't seem to find ANY videos for the older total gym 1000. I don't have the footboard with mine. I've got like a arm bar that I don't even know how to fasten it to my gym 😢 can ANY body help me?? I know I need to exercise, I just don't know what or how to do it...

    I really enjoyed this workout ... looking for a video that explains .how many times a week for beginners and does this video part 1 and 2 show alll moves or like to we do this one for a month and then move on to another ?

    I as well have the total gym and stopped working out on it a few years ago and am osteopenia/perosis and want to get started again. Are there any of those exercises I should not do. Also I have an older total gym and the pad for the feet is not large like yours. Can you get parts to that will adapt to an older total gym to make it look like the one you have?

      @@RosalieBrownFit Thank you for the quick reply. I will order that foot pad. The areas I would like to reinforce as a base as I get back into exercise is the lower back, hips, upper back between the shoulder blades and neck and I wondered if you would entertain doing a video for people who would like to rebuild their body, such as what you did after your hip surgeries. The videos would be at a slower pace but specifically targeting the weaker areas of the body and that could be different target areas for different people. In essence it is a rehab exercise video and it can be sectioned by areas of the body that need to be strengthened. All I can say is that you are amazing. Thank you for all that you do.

      What minute in the video are you referring to? We either use wing attachment or cables, not both at once

      It must be an issue with what your watching video on… it’s perfectly clear … she is using pull-up bars I’m first 1/2 of video … again check the other video link if you are having problems
