Good to see you guys up and running again. Proud to see other systems in IL. coming out to promote their systems. Best wishes to the Delo Family. And good luck Jessie in Arizona.

Thanks, it's been a long 4 months with me moving and relocating to Arizona. I'm now just finding time to get back into the groove again editing. But summer is gonna crazy busy with my upcoming travels. Trying to finish the couple of interviews for the next 2-3 months while I'm on the road.

I like the blending of arts and pressure
training my respect to the instructors.

During our time with them, Kuya Frank Jr. said that he doesn't have to physically destroy his student to get the point across. Safety first.

Thanks. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and burned out after returning from the Philippines. Had less than 2 months to pack up and move out of my apartment and relocate to Arizona. Plus I was getting my student's ready for testing under GM Taboada.

I love to see the hands of FMA practitioners. I like pictures of old masters holding sticks or blades. I got into Internal Chinese Martial Arts and like still photos of Taiji(Tai Chi) masters. It's always nice to be around Martial Peoples.

We wish we could have seen the older generation in their prime. Too bad their wasn't youtube back then. But we agree that there's something about the older generation that has that grit.

I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber.
The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!

There's a lot of similarities within systems. The key is the ethics and morality behind the system. How far are you willing to go? What are you fighting for? Etc.

Thank you, Jessie had to take a long hiatus do to his relocation to the southwest. He was also busy training one of his student to take over his classes in Chicago. But he's back behind the keyboard and editing new interviews from the Philippines. Stay tuned.

finally some ilokanos-their blade arts being underrated. Cinco Teros beats them all
