i’ve been riding this bus from kindergarten all the way till now (freshman year), and i never paid school bus drivers any thought. i can say this. i definitely appreciate them when it’s time to go home!😂

Yes and they are also taken for granted. I remember giving them gifts for Christmas and stuff, some of the kids aren’t respectful to the bus drivers unfortunately.
I’m long out of school, but it’s always nice to greet them good morning/good afternoon when getting on, and thank them for the ride when getting off.

I hate my bus driver, I wish he wasn’t so angry. We treat him with respect and he’s always mad. I’m sure his middle schoolers are shitty.

I will say being a child of a single mother, it was my school buys driver that would always help make sure I’d have rides home from late rehearsals etc. you guys are unappreciated.

Hey bro, I drive an 18-wheeler for a living, I enjoy seeing yall, I've even had to purposely block traffic for a school bus so it didn't get hit by a drunk driver that was running from the cops.
Thank you for this. There are so many people that don’t have any kind of courtesy towards kids walking across the street. It’s really sad 😪😪

Last year when I was in school we had one shitty bus. Broke down every week. No ac. No heat. You know all the good stuff. But what really pissed me off is every other bus at our school was relatively new. Luckily this year they sucked it up and got us a new bus. At least it is good for the kids this year.

Interesting to know why do you guys drive back to the yard in between schools. I only do middle and elementary I have 47 minutes in between the two I just either stay at the school or drive to a more serene place. Love the vids just wanted to ask. We also get paid three hrs am three hrs pm. I am fairly new to this as well
I am currently driving an ES / MS route also, I used to drive preschool and MS, we have a choice to take a mid day route or just a normal am and pm route. With about 5 hours break unless you do a mid day: it is pretty nice, pick and drop my ES, then straight to my middle schoolers, go home for a bit. I love the job, pays well and I get good hours. God is good!

at the lot.. some companies will let you take it home if you want and have a safe area to park it
