So every time i told the bus driver if he/she could cut the heat on he/she would say no or its broken but when I’d leave he/she had it on for themselves 99% of the time

@@Nickodemus_3 This. Ideally your bus has cameras by the stop sign to catch the plate, then you turn it into the police. Hopefully none of your kiddos got hit.
I get cut off at least three times a week. My city has outlawed the use of flashers and stop signs. So people pass me ALL the time.

i feel like after a while you dont even have to look at the switches
I know where all my buttons are at without looking and it's my first year driving.
I can turn on a plane without looking. But it will probably take a lot more time.
I learned all of this in 6th grade 🥴 I always was the one that helped sub drivers!

They also are heater fans or cooling fans and when aimed at windshield its more like dont wanna get the windshield too cold

I love when we're waiting for kids and the kids who are already on ask questions about the bus. I love showing them what all the buttons and switches are for.

Being a school bus driver must be really interesting and fun
1. What do you use the strobe lights for?
2. You know you can use strobe lights to trigger a green light on a red. Some red lights detect Cops and ambulances that have their strobe lights on and turn green.
It's used for foggy days when visibility isn't good

This man is my new favorite, I fucking love school busses now
I remember I was on a trip with a summer camp as a kid it was hot being in Texas and the driver had the fan next to the steps running and a camp counselor got a bit too close to the fan and her long hair got wrapped into the fan I felt so bad for her the other counselors and the driver immediately responded shutting off the fan and luckily someone had a pair a scissors one kept her calm and still the other cut her free everyone was in good spirits. I felt so bad for her. In the end she only lost a bit of hair fan was inoperable after but it could’ve been worse. Once it was all done we all shared a good laugh about it but when things like that happen we don’t laugh and immediately reach for our phones to record, no we jump in and help. Love your videos @clawboss I really hope if i ever ride a buss again any bus that is that your my driver. Stay strong keep doing what you love.

You know these videos are really cool for me because here in India we don't really have a concept of standard school buses as far as I know, some aren't even painted yellow. If the school isn't rich enough (like mine) they just rent buses from some travel company

I never thought I’d find this stuff so interesting. When I was a kid, I used to say I wanna drive a truck for living. My parents weren’t having that, but if I ever lose my cushy govt job I definitely love a second career with a school bus or some other driving job.
