renarudo1 Adorable! My little boy (Pax) has Enigma Syndrome (Kinda like Autism for geckos), and he’s the best thing that ever happened to me! He is currently 10 months old, and I’ve had him for 8 months. I’m hoping for him to live the fullest life he could ever live. Great job on taking care of your gecko, btw!
Can confirm about the sand substrate. 25 years ago or so when I was a child my parents got me a leopard gecko. The pet store told us sand was the best substrate since they are “desert” animals. We didn’t know much about thermostats and GOOD thermometers (not the plastic analog ones in the big box pet store, but good thermometers) and we thought all was well. He lived for maybe 8 months to a year and then we found out the hard way the sand substrate caused internal bleeding. It was traumatizing as a child. To make a long story short, don’t use sand. Please don’t use sand. Please buy thermometers and legitimate thermostats and your gecko will be super happy and healthy. I love them
@@AdventuresWithV Paper towels are fine as a very temporary solution but definitely not the best for long term. Soil substrate is probably the way to go.
Stone tile is the way. No impaction, hygienic, no snagging, no replacement costs, easy to remove and clean, I've never used anything else since. I put paper towels in his potty corner and the rest is all natural stone tile that helps him regulate his temperature and doesn't have risks. Sand is a tragedy in the reptile industry.
I honestly hope "one day" after finished my college course I get a good job, my own home and have a whole reptile room haha :) or maybe 2 reptile rooms.
I was 11 years old, back in 1999, when I owned a leopard gecko. It was the most laid back lizard that I ever owned. Prior to that, my family owned an Iguana named Salty and he was a real bastard---he would try to bite and whip us with his tail---so, feeding and cleaning his enclosure was a NIGHTMARE. After the experience with Salty the Iguana, it was very nice to get such a laid back lizard. I would definitely own a leopard gecko again.
@@SousukeAizen421 cornsnakes had a 4 in handleability and in the blake rat snake video he said that he might have been a bit too harsh on them which would give cornsnakes an overall score of 5/5
“These geckos are from the desert” they are from a desert type area. But do not put sand as their ground material in the cage when you decorate it. The sand can get in their food dish and that is bad cause when they eat the sand it can scratch and clog the intestines causing constipation and other problems which will eventually lead to death if untreated. Instead of a desert themed in closure make a jungle themed using slanted bark for them to climb on and soil or something I forgot the name of as a ground material.
I found that out the hard way. I didn't even obtain my lizard by choice. My granddad had a friend and that friend dropped him off and left. He was 2, but lived to 11 years old. He went blind unexpectedly at age 8 and we cared for him by hand until then. I was a kid when I first got him and when he died it broke my heart as much as losing my granddad.
Hey Clint - would you consider updating this video with the current best practices for care? Under tank heaters aren’t really recommended anymore; it’s been shown that overhead heat (a par38 halogen on a dimmer) is far more beneficial. Colored lights actually harm their eyes! You’re so very respected for making these videos, and having an updated version of this popular pet lizard would be… just stinkin’ rad!
Are you seriously trying to tell a biologist university instructor who’s passion is reptiles what is recommended ? People like Clint breeders etc have kept these thriving for YEARS so to say something diff is just trying to be different/giving 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
@@ericlopez3585 I respect your feelings, and understand what you’re saying. Please understand that I respect and admire Clint… it’s just that this video was made a number of years ago and some things have changed, carewise. Watch any of the more respected herp videos on Leopard Geckos, like Wickens Wicked Reptiles or others (who also like and admire Clint), and you’ll see what I mean. Clint is AMAZING. I use his videos in my classes and recommend him in the book I just wrote on pet leopard geckos. But if we kept doing things “like we’ve always done it,” we’d have leopard geckos in 10 gallon tanks and fed nothing but mealworms, or bearded dragons stuck in 40 BR tanks, and no forward movement. @@MrsVrba Thank you so much for sharing the information you did, I found your original comment both helpful and respectful. I understand if Clint does not see it (I'm sure he's busy!) but if I was looking to care for this animal, I would absolutely read the comments, and this would be invaluable, because it would let me know I should do some more research on the subject.
Bomby Boi I have a regular albino, it reminds me of like fruit loops lol, it has so much colorful spots, I was gonna get a brown gray and black one, but I wanted to get the albino.
I wanted to thank you for this video and others you've done talking about the Leopard Gecko. As of today, I am the proud owner of an adorable little Mack Snow Albino leopard gecko. Your videos made learning about what they need and how to care for them a much more approachable subject than they would have been otherwise. Now I not only have myself a great new friend, but have also started going down the rabbit hole of newfound reptile fanaticism.
I literally bought a leo that had half of his 3 front left toes missing (his side ones were intact on the same left foot so he can still grip things and he has nails on those 2 outer ones.. but the 3 middle ones, literally look like they were cut in half, but they don't look sore at all. They are perfectly healed at this point just not as long and no nails of course compared to his other feet). I specifically bought him for this reason as the store had no idea how to care for him and he was just too precious and friendly to let him live that kind of life. I upgraded him to a mansion and now he's a boss with it lol!
9:37 Years ago, when I was deciding on what first reptile to buy, this is exactly why I didn't choose a leopard gecko. The fact that you can see through their head freaks me out. So I ended up with a cornsnake.
i just got a leopard gecko 2 months ago and he's still fairly small but i love him so much!! He has such a huge personality and has learned to pop out of his lil warm hide when he hears my voice near his enclosure. This is definitely one of the videos that convinced me to get one, so thank you clint!!
Clint's Reptiles i thought you could only take them out at night since they’re nocturnal? Will it stress them out to take them out any other time of the day? Please answer I’m thinking about getting this reptile and do you need to have more than one?
Well, they aren't strictly nocturnal actually. They're crepuscular, meaning that they are awake at dawn and dusk. However, they shouldn't be handled in the middle of the day. They should be sleeping then.
Also, don't house them together. Some people say that you can house females together, but I don't reccomend it. Even with females, there's that risk of one fighting the other, stealing the other's food, or straight up killing eachother. You don't want to take that risk.
Still one of my favorite episodes... We’ve had my son’s leopard gecko for years and his a great pet. He will not touch a super or mealworm though... crazy 😂
I'd give my little girl a 5/5! She's still a bit shy but I'm patient with handling her and I have feeder insects at home for my tarantulas either way! I love her so much
Thanks to you, few months ago i got my own leo and now i see why you are soo excited about them! The info you give about them helped me to decide if they are best fit for me and to make decent habitat for my leo to make it happy. im just amazed how your geckos manage to stay in one spot for so long! mine just always running around ( each day we walk around 80m or more).
Thanks to you I’m getting my gecko tomorrow!! I did a YEAR of research to lead up to this and this particular video is what got me started! I can’t thank you enough!
Getting my leopard gecko was one of the best things I've ever done. I got mine last year in the summer and I plan to get another(not to cohab or breed) this upcoming summer. Tbh I'd love to have more than that haha. Best beginner reptile out there imo.
Milan here from Indiana. I don't have a leopard gecko but I want to have one in the future. Thanks to you I know a lot more about leopard geckos. I love you TH-cam channel and this video is awesome!
When I had gecko's I handled them every single day to ensure they would realize that i'm no threat to them. Eventually I let them crawl on me and they would sit either in my neck or under my shirt where it's warm. I personally only had once 2 eggs, but nothing came of that unfortunately. Never fed them roaches, just the worms, crickets and sometimes wild coughed insects. I did notice that my male Gecko was really curious of my camera. Every time I opened their enclosure and had my camera with me he would directly come towards me and let himself be photographed. Sometimes even crawling on top of my camera on his own power. The females that I had were less fond of the camera, they would allow it but quickly disappear in one of the hiding spots.
My first reptile in my adult life was a leo! I also have a Crestie now! My boy is pretty chill, and they're amazing beginner babies, they're very sweet, my boy's lil nails poke me a bit but they don't hurt, not even close. It tickles more than anything
Wonderful video as always! One thing I really don't agree with however is the daily misting. That's definitely a way to give your leo a respiratory infection. Instead use a water dish. They drink readily out of dishes, they're just a bit secretive about it lol. and make sure you have a hide stuffed with wet paper towels or moss, that takes care of the shedding. Also the under tank heater is pretty much a must. bulbs tend to bother them and they need belly heat to properly digest food ^^
Agreed, daily spraying would not be ideal if your gecko enclosure lacks proper ventilation. You should only mist so that there are drops they can drink, but not so much that it doesn't dry completely within an hour or so. I too prefer heat mats. That is what I recommended in the video. But a red bulb can work.
Hey Clint! I love this video. With all the changes in reptile husbandry in the past few years, would you consider updating it? UV would be a good talking point, as well as more naturalized enclosures.
I love it how you're so formal thanks for the information being trying to persuade my parents are getting me a reptile you're basically my information and my negotiation tool thanks( sorry for bad English)
i remember watching your videos right before i got my first leopard gecko a few years back. they're older now, and i have three of them and a few other reptiles but i always end up coming back to your page because i just love watching your videos. i watched it to refresh my knowledge on crested geckos before i picked mine up tomorrow, but i find myself watching videos of yours on videos i never plan on owning just because they're so much fun. just finished making myself an egg to eat and listening to you talk in the background is always fun. keep making videos!
I've been researching on Leopard geckos and some people just say "Oh they just need mealworms or superworms with calci dust or reptivite but I was going to ask you and your opinion on it. Because a lot of people have different opinions on it and say they need to have superworms,(or mealworms) along with crickets and dubia roches people also say they just need dubias and mealworms or superworms. So I'm just asking your opinion on and about it.
I would say that you would be best served to offer a varied diet. Beetle larvae (like meal worms and super worms) can be a good staple, but adding in other feeders will likely supply nutrients that may be lacking from a worm-only diet.
@@ClintsReptiles , are the roaches a must ? I can't deal with roaches , they give me the willies so bad. Roaches are the only animals that I am scared of and freaked out by.
@@rottweilerfun9520 This is late but roaches are not necessary, however dubia roaches are the healthiest widely available bug you can feed to a gecko, crickets come in second. Dubias would be a good treat once in a while if you can handle it, otherwise just make sure to give your gecko supplements and variety every once in a while. My gecko is very picky and only eats live dubias and crickets (I hate crickets), even though she was fed mealworms when she was in the breeders care. I'm going to see if she can handle some worms again because I have someone with birds I can give them to.
I wanna say a huge thank you to this guy. I recently got my gecko, Sienna is a very happy girl with a great personality. Clint has helped me out massively with both the decision and the care methods. Thanks Clint! (P.S) she’s my first reptile!
Right after you said they're adorable, the gecko stuck his tongue out and I almost died of cuteness! I'm very new to reptiles, and hoping to keep these as my first pet. Any tips on convincing my parents that I will be able to take care of these on my own? They're against pets as they don't want to be the ones taking care of them all the time when I go to school, which is understandable. Will these geckos be fine without insect feeders? I think that's a big no-no for my parents too. Other than that, thanks for the great informative videos!
If you decided to get one, please think about rescuing one. They are one of the most abandoned reptiles. Anyone could get one from the pet store, but very very few of the actually found their permanent homes.
The Mighty Brook May I point out that if something is labelled as a “facet gecko” it just means they have no clue what morph it actually is and has no data in their genetic background
drewsifer817 I've commented something similar on a previous video of his and he said that one was in the making. So there will probably be one soon. :)
Having had a leo gecko for two years now, my recommendation for beginners on enclosures is this: Use a ceramic overhead dome emitter for heat so they can have warmth at night without risk of them cooking like with underbelly heat, use a light bulb for UV and change it every month or so for best UV. Alternate calcium and calcium with d3 powder on feeders. Staples should be mealworms, superworms, and soldier fly larvae. Treats should be wax worms and horn worms (dont let them get addicted to the wax worm saturated fatty diet.) Use tile substrate. Sand, carpet, and other loose or porous substrates are too risky and problematic and substates that require regular replacement are costly. Tile is clean, helps regulate temperature, and isnt an impaction risk or snaggy on their toes. It stays cool in cool spots and warm on the hot side. Then build hides by carefully and stabley stacking and arranging cork wood bark, artifical hideaways, fake foliage (or safe live plants if thats your thing), rocks and a humid hide or shallow soak pool. They may be desert animals but they benefit greatly from having a shallow pool available for shedding (just dont give them so much water that their humidity gets into the infection hotspot). Give them many hides and multiple "levels" to safely and comfortably explore and youll do great. Give them extra wide walking space, dont fall for getting the typical narrow tank. I got mine a wide 50 gallon tank that gives a lot to work with on environmental enrichment. A happy leopard gecko will explore and move from hide to hide or bask openly in their warm spot. A depressed or declining gecko may be lethargic or not move much. You can have fun decorating too! I add my crystal collection to his enclosure (safe minerals only, always research and dont put them in their water. Quartzes are generally safe. My enclosure has amethyst, agate, rose quartz, and black jasper).
I have two leopard geckos, but your videos are so entertaining I just had to watch! As a leopard gecko owner, I tend to get heated over gecko care (way too much misinformation), but there wasn't anything in here that was wrong! I love how you included the sand and calcium bits, those are huge mistakes people tend to make. I am so so looking forward to the next video!!

I want to know which gecko says “gecko”. I was in Indonesia a few months ago and I loved the night sounds including the gecko. I never saw one but was told it was tokay. I think it sounds like “gecko” not “tokay” so I wonder what it was we heard. There were all kinds of geckos everywhere! ❤️ I crept around in the dark but they were well hidden.
Just picked one up at the expo Saturday. She's awesome. It took a while to pick her out. There were several plus tables that had many for sale. Lots to choose from. I ended up with a beautiful 3 month old female. Morph is a Mack Bold Temper line. The price was very good to. I couldn't go wrong for 50 bucks.
anyone reading this thinking about getting a gecko: if you don't want to watch your gecko potentially die a slow and painful death, make sure you have an exotic vet near you, and don't get a gecko if youre not willing/able to pay the fee for a vet appointment there in an emergency. i've seen so many geckos die because people don't get their pet medical help because they can't afford it or because they wanted to treat it at home themselves. if you're a kid, don't expect mom or dad to be willing/able to pay or drive you 2 hours to an exotic vet. if you're a parent and can't afford the vet or travel, you might want to wait to get a gecko until that's doable because it'll break your kids heart if their little friend dies.
If you’re a child and you have a pet you probably expect your parents to pay for anything that pet needs. In my opinion the financial responsibility is on the parents more than it’s on the child. Children have no option in financial decisions but they should take care of their animal and bring anything they are concerned about to their parents attention and the parents should be checking every other day on the health of the pets. Definitely agree with your other great points. 👍🏼
@@poppyparanormal2189 yeah... I just got a crested gecko a few days ago. My parents bought the tank and gecko together but I had to buy my own hygrometer (didnt find a thermometer in any local pet stores), insects, a climbing branch (the tank came with 2 leaf branches but eh) and ya. I barely get any money, and I know my parents are not willing to pay if my animal gets sick ... and i am struggling to save up money incase something does happen. Karma_ Unleashed Definitely and it’s very unfortunate your parents will not help you invest in the animals health. Just got a tangerine leopard gecko today and I'm absorbing all the information I can get, I've watched your channel a while but this is extremely helpful and reassuring that my research was solid and I made a good choice for my first terrestrial reptile! I've helped care for my brothers red eared sliders but I've been intimidated by reptile care until recently. Nonetheless I've really deeply wanted a lizard so I buckled down, did the research, and I got Kirby today. I look forward to getting to know him and gain his trust 🥰 Update: two years later, and kirby is doing well! When i adopted him he had a docked tail that was in the process of growing back, but it managed to grow back seamlessly and he can still move it! The vet said she could barely tell hed ever lost it and she has two 20 year old geckos. Hes healthy and content with a nice, big, exploration friendly enclosure with five different hiding spots. To be honest his enclosure is bigger than he needs (but not too big, he has a low rise 50 gallon tank lol). Hes never vocalized or showed significant distress, hes just a bit flighty and doesn't appear to be comfortable being held for long periods. I respect that and most of our relationship is me feeding him, giving him water in his beloved wading pool, and watching him walk around. He gets so excited when i reach in to feed him though, i love seeing his wiggle walk on the way to get his worms. I personally recommend tile substrate, you can take them out and clean them with precision and efficiency without needing to constantly pay for a replacement substrate. Ive had stone tiles from lowes (that fit perfectly in the tank) for a year and a half and wouldnt recommend anything else! You can also stack tiles to make "stairs" (not too tall or steep obviously). I even use tile for my beardies enclosure. Ideal reptile substrate that helps keep them warm and clean.
My leopard gecko lived to the ripe old age of 15 years old! I miss him so much. I'm really considering getting another one. R.I.P. Karl! Edit: I've decided. I'll be getting Karl Jr. soon!

I actually didn't know that misting thing for leopard geckos when I got mine. Just goes to show that your research doesn't end just because you got the animal.
I heard you aren’t supposed to mist them because it can cause the humidity to rise in the tank and that can cause respiratory issues? 🤷🏻♀️. A lot of info is out there.
I've had mine five years now and never misted once and I'm not starting now. I live in Florida and keeping his humidity levels low is challenging enough without constantly spraying down his enclosure. Luckily he was bred by a local breeder here in Florida so he's used to the higher humidity levels. He's a good boy who drinks from his water bowl.
great video with lots of info and advise. i got my daughter one for her 6th birthday last december. that said, i have been watching a lot of content on them, and this is the first time i heard someone mention you should spray them with mist.
I just got my first leopard gecko! It knows I bring food and it's super bright eyed and active. I LOVE my baby, and of course I am taking very good care of it!
I have all my terrariums in the basement where i have a constant humidity of 50 %. I never have to spray in my Leopard Gecko terrarium and he is well since 11 years. No shedding problems and I can recommend it to everyone :)
Leopard geckos are awesome!! They’re clean, quiet, fantastic eaters, and have a great temperament for those who want an animal that they would rather handle on a regular basis. They won’t bite (unless stressed, but avoiding those types of situations and working with them often will prevent that from happening) and are naturally slow moving. I know animals that move quickly and can jump are often a little intimidating for first time keepers, but leopard geckos won’t normally do that unless provoked. These guys are perfect for any and everyone due to their general nature. I’ve had my girl for a little over a year now, and she’s been absolutely wonderful and has quite the personality.
Would your rating towards Leopard Gecko be the same for African Fat Tail Geckos? I know the details that are different, I am not sure about their temperaments though.
African Fat Tailed Geckos are actually even calmer than Leo's. Even my hatchlings are all very gentle and slow to attempt to flee. Care, like you mentioned, is different however.
Sounds like you know some of the differences. In some ways they will score higher, but they are harder to find. We probably will get to them in the future :)
Just got my gecko a while ago and she's such a cute little bugger. Her personality is sort of that of a cat. Very independent and observing. She doesn't like beeing handled - but she doesn't despises it either. Very curious and daring personality for such a small, fragile gecko. Awesome feeding response too - I cheer everytime when she launches at a cricket. But for anyone considering getting one: please don't give them to a small child that could squish or drop it. Plus the proper research! It's all true what Clint said. They are tiny and fragile creatures but can give you so much joy and adorableness if you can keep them healthy.
I love my leopard gecko, my blue tegu and my red tegu with all of my heart this video inspired me this year to get those three reptiles! I love you Clint Laidlaw.

That would be much better than housing males together (they would fight), but it would be better not to. I don't condemn cohabitation as strongly as some, but nothing good can come from it. Many can cohabitate animals without issues, but many have issues, and sometimes the consequences are quite severe.
Females won't get along, but they may stay out of the other's way if they have enough space. They aren't as territorial as the males are, but they still would rather not share. If you do house them together, keep a sharp eye out for bite marks on either of them. Any bite marks are sure to indicate problems in the future, or a high stress environment for both. Males on the other hand will just fight until one of them dies.
BrawlEmAll female's need lot's of space but it's the individual two of my are angels the other's pretty tame but she's adventurous so their in a 40 gallon

What happened to him

Clint: this is the highest score we’re ever going to give to any animal
Cornsnake: I’m about to end this mans whole career
Boom bam badabap boom pow
clint said he raised Leopad gecko Handibility to 5, that would raise their score higher than cornsnake
He covers this in the video.
Dave England yes I know. I wrote this halfway through the video and forgot to edit it.

I guess it would be hard to give a gecko an enema 🙄
I found that out the hard way. I didn't even obtain my lizard by choice. My granddad had a friend and that friend dropped him off and left. He was 2, but lived to 11 years old. He went blind unexpectedly at age 8 and we cared for him by hand until then. I was a kid when I first got him and when he died it broke my heart as much as losing my granddad.
This guy just sounds so comfortable. I don't know what that means but its how I feel.
Part of being an educator is always learning… as a teacher myself, I swear by this. I meant no disrespect to Clint… I just wanted to see if he’d update his information. That’s all. 😊

Part of being a biologist, or any scientist, is being open to new evidence. Best practices change when new evidence is discovered.

Nicholas Lienandjaja oh ok
My gecko was so chill...I had no idea they could bite! Also, I didn't know they could lose their tails! Thanks for the vid!
You're very welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful :)
Can you do a setup for a leopard gecko tank
We sure will! That's a great suggestion.
Clint's Reptiles thanks I really appreciate it
Clint's Reptiles i thought you could only take them out at night since they’re nocturnal?
I love her so much
I got my leopard gecko a few months ago and I wanted one for years and she’s a lot of fun
Thank you for putting out correct care info, especially in regards to sand and cohabitation. So many others I've seen put out bad advice.
Every time he makes the *pop* sound for the tails coming off, I become very uncomfortable lol
These little guys are wonderful starter reptiles. So chill when handling and easy to care for, plus they are beautiful!
My first reptile in my adult life was a leo! I also have a Crestie now! My boy is pretty chill, and they're amazing beginner babies, they're very sweet, my boy's lil nails poke me a bit but they don't hurt, not even close. It tickles more than anything
They’re just so chill I can’t believe how relaxed they are?
Leopard gecko's are excellent little climbers, not so good at getting back down though :)
Hey Clint! I love this video. With all the changes in reptile husbandry in the past few years, would you consider updating it? UV would be a good talking point, as well as more naturalized enclosures.

I am thinking about getting a leopard gecko as a first reptile this video is very informative it tells me a lot about them love your videos clint😊
Thank you for the reply! I love your channel keep the good work up!
@@ClintsReptiles , are the roaches a must ? I can't deal with roaches , they give me the willies so bad. Roaches are the only animals that I am scared of and freaked out by.
I would say crickets Dubia roaches and super worms

Awwww!!🤗
Having had a leo gecko for two years now, my recommendation for beginners on enclosures is this:
Use a ceramic overhead dome emitter for heat so they can have warmth at night without risk of them cooking like with underbelly heat, use a light bulb for UV and change it every month or so for best UV. Alternate calcium and calcium with d3 powder on feeders. Staples should be mealworms, superworms, and soldier fly larvae. Treats should be wax worms and horn worms (dont let them get addicted to the wax worm saturated fatty diet.)
Use tile substrate.
That's a very high score I love certain Leo morphs. They are so cute I want one so bad!!!🦎🦎
It would be hard to find a better first pet lizard.
Clint's Reptiles that is very true

"The biggest risk with these guys is getting squished"
Why is that so adorable to me
I have two leopard geckos, but your videos are so entertaining I just had to watch! As a leopard gecko owner, I tend to get heated over gecko care (way too much misinformation), but there wasn't anything in here that was wrong! I love how you included the sand and calcium bits, those are huge mistakes people tend to make. I am so so looking forward to the next video!!
This was fantastic feedback that really made my day! We try to give solid information and shy away from teaching things that are hotly contested. We don't want to be a source of bad information (there is already plenty of that). We don't know everything, so if we ever share something that you have evidence to refute, please let us know so we can fix it.

Definitely and it’s very unfortunate your parents will not help you invest in the animals health.
You’re doing a wonderful job and I wouldn’t worry about illness since your gecko will be well taken care of.
Maybe you could start asking for pet money as a birthday present or gecko items you may need as presents for Christmas.
I look forward to getting to know him and gain his trust 🥰
Update: two years later, and kirby is doing well!

Clint's Reptiles are you going to make a reptile room?
Wow! This is so helpful, even more excited to start my leopard gecko journey, continue to do what you do!

Great video! ;)

I love my leopard gecko, my blue tegu and my red tegu with all of my heart this video inspired me this year to get those three reptiles! I love you Clint Laidlaw.
Mine god damn jumped off my hand and went behind my set of draws yesterday. My Mum found him by removing the bottom draw.
I love how excited and happy he is to make these videos or at least that's how he looks
Just got my first leopard gecko and I already love him so much! I cant wait for him to warm up to me more and get used to handling more. Love your videos!
I would like to thank you Clint for helping me get my Leopard Gecko, I had lots of fun with him but sadly he passed a couple weeks back. Hopefully one of your other handy, well put together videos can make me decide on another stinking rad lizard! Keep doing what your doing!
So you recommend keeping them alone? Even two females?
Clint's Reptiles this is such a good thing because I always feel guilty about getting an animal that needs a friend
Also even if you do house them together you need at least 30 gallon, but I think a 40 or 50 is better
BrawlEmAll female's need lot's of space but it's the individual two of my are angels the other's pretty tame but she's adventurous so their in a 40 gallon
Hi Clint! At first I started handling my friends created geckos and decided I wanted a tokay..for some odd reason. Instead I Impulsively got a leopard and at first I was having doubt. But having him for 3 months I’ve grown a bond with him and he knows when it’s lunch time too lol. Thanks for the info :)
