Siargao is the surfing capital of the Philippines. Even my nephew in Australia brisband who surfs a lot wants to go to Cloud 9 in Siargao. Been there in La Union and it's not even close. La Union is the surfing capital of the northern Ph that's for sure but the entire Philippines? I dont think so.

oh,thats next to my hometown ! try the beaches in paraoir(stoney and high-low tide experience and darigayos luna(little white and clear sand) maybe u want to see the original raw cement making ,the number 1 manufacturer of cement is in la union.

thx for watching! We filmed a tv show so we had our own gear. If you go to the La Union area, you can find plenty of beach shacks/hostels and hotels, lots of instructors available for training! Motorcycle rental, best to do it from Manila
