In this video my dad came to the Philippines to visit me and we went to Baguio to hike Mount Pulag and see the Banaue Rice Terraces! The trip was unforgettable, it was incredible to have my dad here and get the chance to show him my new home 😌 I hope you enjoy watching the video!

I live in Cologne since 1985 and married a German, got a Daughter from him and now I am Grandma. I am a Filipina as well. My Heart is torn between my Country and Germany. When I am in Germany I miss Philippines and when I come for vscation to Philippines after 2 Weeks by Brain Pointe go Home to Cologne. Crazy! Is like having 2 Boyfriends and never know which should I select. Have a wonderful and wish you Success in my Beloved Philippines. I am now 68 years old and hey, my Medical Insurance is not valid in Philippines should I get sick there. But you are young and capable of adjusting to the Differences you encounter. For once this time i heard a very sound advice from a loving concern parents could have been blant about it but carefully chosen the right words to enunciate his thoughts about his son's yet chosen path. but could have yet to express how elated he is if he do succeed. Hey Tim, I came across your channel when surfing the U-Tube, with that new subscriber here.... I was born and raised in Palawan, Philippines and migrated to California USA. We did our honeymoon in Banaue way back 1989, we're supposed to go up there Mt. Pulag but It was raining cats and dogs. THANKS for bringing me there. By the way, my husband was my high school classmate in Palawan, Philippines and he was assigned to build the Banaue Post Office. U got a supportive Dad. How I wish I was also able to spend time like that with my Dad when he is still alive, he passed away last April 2017 at the age of 90 years old. My only advice if you want to succeed with You Tube is to upload regularly. Witnessing the scenic view was truly surreal and a memorable experience specially with that rain, will forever be etched in your mind to travel with your Dad.😊👏

The best view of the mountains is after a heavy rain. I don't know why but you can see the shade of green that is so cool and refreshing not only to the eyes but to the whole body. I would say it is magical in the forest after the rain.

Honestly, discover SAGADA. The best for hiking. You can meet a lot of foreigners, water falls, caves, hiking, rice terraces too, limestone formations, hanging coffins. People can talk in English there. Summer time like March, April, Mau and June are the best season so that you won't encounter the wet season and that adventures would be perfect with the weather. I grew up there until 16 years old and I have withnessed it as a tourist spot. PERFECT FOR VLOGGING, PROMISE.
