- People are always searching for the "What is the Best Beach in the World" or "What is The Best Beach in Philippines," but I think it's really different on ones perspective and preferences. For us, we've visited the likes of Boracay, El Nido, Sorsogon, Camiguin and many others. La Union Philippines is one that we didn't get a chance to visit until now. I am so amazed with how you and your wonderful sons have assimilated into the Filipino culture! Your sense of adventure when it comes to tasting and eventually loving the Filipino cuisine is admirable! To me, when a foreigner can enjoy our balut, that tells me that he will survive everything else!

I’ve been there in La Union. A lot of beautiful people. Beaches are nice and salty. Luckily there’s no jellyfish around the sand and water area.

Hi Christina I would like to recommend you guys to visit Vigan City and Pagudpud and also Paoay sand dunes which the kids can do activities such as Atv rides, 4x4 rides and sand boarding also close to the city of Laoag and San Nicholas and while you where in Pagudpud you can view the Windmills.

Ilocos Norte, Sagada, and Nueva Viscaya would be great to live there to find a vacation homes in the mountains. I had trouble adjusting to the hot humid 30deg+ weather in my hometown of Alaminos ciy. 12 noon to 2pm its extremely hot March to April.
