I don't know how you can remain so positive throughout this build mate, I spent 11 months of hell putting a barra in my patrol which is nothing compared to this and the amount of times I lost my shit over that hahaha
fuck i love these videos man! always brings a smile to my face with the comedy and gets my brain ticking with all the machining, turning and the details you are putting into this. please keep going and never stop. such an amazing channel. thanks again for the smiles. they are far and few between these days.
Wow, what a job, well done Buddy, not good about the thingy's still on the Turage seat though...............so I just won't mention that. haha. Seeya Rob...............at least you now have plenty of spare wire !!
I have had all the landcruiser engines everyone obsesses over, all the body types and my v10 touareg absolutely shits all over them in every possible way. Anyone that talks smack about the touareg, or the V10 just aren't worth your time. Best engine I have ever owned. Probably the best I will ever own
People will never be happy, imagine being a self professed rev head and being mad about a twin turbo diesel v10. Love the build
It's the Touareg purists that hate patrols. Sadly for them it's a better setup
Paint it silver and put ugly alloy wheels on it to satisfy the Volkswagen lovers 😂
You have the stance of a six year old about to announce he's shit in the washing machine again.
I haven't done that for weeks
Rookie, im doing that now

Probably mostly raw determination rather than positivity. The content in the next video to come out certainly tested me though
@@ridiculousthings4x4 loving your work mate, keep at it

Great work.
The wires loom weights as much as the engine 😂😂😂
you sunscreen application is truly masterful.
It's an essential part of the process.
What I like most about this project, is that it is not my car.
The amount of detail and custom-made parts is stuff of Dreams when this is finished I hope you continue this kind of work
(un)fortunately, I'll probably go harder in the next project
Props on having the patience to unwind all that wire wrapping 😁
Now that's a lot of wiring. Funny as heck as always. 🤣
Another top video! That wiring 😳😳 what a headache. Patients and persistence has paid off 👍
Lots of madness combined with some great viewing....can't wait to see it going 👍👍
As a auto spark I appreciate the work involved there, good job on only 2wks.
As you would have found out, once you understand the can bus system, it's not super difficult, just very very time consuming. Love your build.
It’s like those Lego instructions that look easy but have hundreds of tiny parts that take a million hours to put together
im so glad i stumbled onto your channel, subscribed for sure!, this channel should be bigger.
sharing is caring ;) thanks for the sub
Gday, that wiring looked like a friggen nightmare, good the heater fits now though, awesome job mate, cheers
worth it just for the heater fitting, right?
@ 100% mate

Let's not celebrate too soon. The key hasn't turned yet
You are one brave man. I would start the engine after each wire chop to ensure it works.
I'd be doing it 6 months later if I had to do that, but I guess we'll all find out if I messed up soon
That is an insane number of wires for a car!
Insane for more than 1 car! Strangely, there's less left in it than I removed
Love your work cobba 👍
People should not be critical it's not their project don't watch if they don't like it superb as usual Don't stop keep going 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Too late to turn back now. Unless I've ruined it. Potential game over if I have
Well done. What a nightmare. Lol, lot of head scratching and alcohol medicating sorting that mess.
Love the intro as always 👍👍👌 The Comment Guy
Love it!! Please keep those vids coming
Thanks for the content
Good job
This man is mad...I like him !😂🤣
I can’t see a problem with the wiring
It looks easy 😶🌫️
I’m still in the fetal position after watching that, well done
I gave you ptsd?
Trusty Trojan side cutters 😂
MAB innovation guy

Fuck that wiring loom is nightmare fuel, mechanical pumps are much less scary
Yup, my QD32 nav had a single wire that kept the engine running
Wouldn't something like a Haltech control unit been easier than using the Audi V10 loom ?
No. Not for a PD diesel. That would be like running a PC game on an apple watch
Can I buy a piece of the wiring loom as merch please?
that's...quite a good idea
Fantastic 😂
Hmmm, let me see, the red wire is connected to the .....
Probably 20+ red wires in this horror
You did to those wires what Elon Musk did to Twitter. Cleaned house.
If only the US taxpayer would front my mistakes 🥺
you need to work on your impressions.....
Great work. Are you going to go all out and try and get it engineered approved and road legal with registration? That could be a headache.
Absolutely. Engine swaps are relatively straightforward as long as the requirements are met and you stay within GVM
The only thing more impressive then Mab guys wiring skills is his T-shirt tan 🤌
Thank motogp for that
