You are a God send. Thank you for these videos. I haven't even applied yet because I want to be as ready as I possibly can. Because of you and your amazing informative videos I know what to do and I can get myself prepared! Thank you Cassandra.
Great explanation of STAR interview format. I put my situations, etc. in a spreadsheet to organize my thoughts and responses. Made it easier to commit them to memory.
I have nothing to do with aviation or flight attendance but the way you spoke and the softness of your voice really made me calm and sleepy. Please make more videos. I would love to hear you talk for hours.
Do you thing after a couple of months working as a flight attendant can I transfer to work as a customer service agent at the airport? My husband don’t want me to fly and I feel bad leaving him alone.
Is it goin to be 3 weeks to hear back from them after the live video interview? I really thought it was a recorded video interview until someone was on the other line joined the video. So it was a live one. I got nervous so I am not sure if I got it. Well, I hope so. ☺️ but I wish. She was soo sweet though.
Hi there! The 3 weeks was just my personal experience. It could take a longer or shorter amount of time for you to hear back :) Oh wow that's new information! For us, we just had to click the online interview link before our deadline. I assume you had to reserve a time slot? That's awesome your interviewer was sweet, I'm sure you did well regardless!
@@CassandraRi I got my invite letter to go to Atlanta. But I am concern since I am still not a citizen yet. Will they disqualify me for not being a citizen? I don’t know if they help me with getting crew visa if ever,😔
@@rafaelcoste congratulations, Rafael!! I'm so happy for you! I don't believe Delta does sponsorships. I knew a few FA's who had their green cards, so they do accept that. Once your green card expires, however, I don't believe Delta will be able to help you
@@rafaelcoste it's okay to be nervous! So long as you prepare the Glassdoor questions (they asked me those in my f2f), you should be golden! My advice would be to always try to socialize with others, be attentive, and never stop smiling :) you're going to do awesome!
From my experience, they have hiring windows so applications are only taken for a certain amount of time. With COVID stunting the airline industry this past year, I would assume the hiring process has come to a standstill. Luckily, with the vaccine coming out, it looks like 2021 might be a little better :). If you don't have anybody on the inside who works for Delta, I would say keep checking their website because, once they're hiring again, they'll post the dates of when they'll begin and end taking applications
I’m so glad you like it! For Delta there is no age cut off for becoming a flight attendant (I believe the same goes for every other U.S. commercial carrier), do you can begin your career virtually at any age :)

Hello your videos are amazing .. I'm from India and interested in flight attendant job. Do they hire people from India? Please let me know and more love to you .
Hey there, so glad you're enjoying the videos! :) They do hire people from India, Delta is all about diversity. You would need some sort of proof that you can legally work in the U.S., so if you have that it shouldn't be a problem :)
hi cassandra, love your videos, i want to know if as a flight attendant with delta you get to choose your route or they use your ethnicity, for example an african flying through the newyork to south africa route, considering the fact that you could relate well with people from that side of the world. Also is delta presently hiring and can you apply with just your EAD and valid passport from your country. thanks
Hi there! Sure thing. Delta doesn't look into race or nationality for trips. You can work as a translator and then you'll be flying mostly to the countries in which the foreign language is spoken, but again you could be any race, nationality, etc. for this job so long as you're proficient in the language. You can put in your preferences for trips for when you're on call, however, or swap with another flight attendant to change your schedule. Due to EAD's being valid for only a limited time, you may not be eligible, but hey there's no harm in trying! I'd encourage you to apply anyway
