- He’s here! We are so grateful to have our sweet baby boy in our arms safely. Today I’m sharing our positive birth story that ended in a C-section. As well as the meaning behind his name. I hope this can be an encouraging story as we have been overcoming fears and managing unmet expectations. I’ll share what’s helped us. 🤍

I have had 11 csections. I’m so grateful even though it was never my plan to have so many surgeries (or any).

Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. I'm so glad you all are doing well. Loved the pictures you put in your video. He is so precious. I'm sure you just want to look at him. I didn't experience the miracle of childbirth. My only Son is adopted. He grew so fast. Each morning when I would go to him he would be lying on his stomach in his baby bed with one hand up his head turned to the side. I took a mental picture and still can just see him then. I cried when I thought of the birth mother who never saw him but rejoiced that she loved him enough to have him so that I was able to be with him and to love him. God bless you and your family.

Congratulations. He’s beautiful and I love his name. I ended up with 4 c-sections total. My first was breech and then we were going to try Vbac and my second was breech as well. After that I had no choice. I was thankful to have my four children. I did take red raspberry with my last c-section and my uterus was nice and thick. My youngest is now 19 years old and I hadn’t heard of them measuring the scars. Even though it wasn’t what I wanted I was thankful for healthy safe deliveries. Hard recovery but worth it. I will say please take it easy. As I’ve aged and gone through menopause I have a lot of weight gain right around the scar. Unsure if I could have prevented that but sharing in case that helps. Enjoy all the baby snuggles and having your husband home. 💙
Thank you! You are such a strong mama. Measuring the scar is a new thing. It’s widely used in Europe and getting more common here. Children are such a blessing no matter how they come to us but I do pray if we get pregnant again we could avoid another c section ❤️

Beautiful story!
I had three vbacs after a C-section.
I’m not sure if I would do that again. My births were very long, (5 days) and each birth was very hard.
My daughter is planning a free birth, with zero medical help.
I’m very concerned, since she doesn’t even have a baby heart monitor …

Awesome Video Emily!!! It make me think about my "Mom"!!! She said my Father desire a "BIG" family!!! She say every birth was a "gift" from God to my Father!!!! His joy of telling People about his (13) children!!!! My home was filled with love and noise!!! But two parents who truly loved God and their children!!!! Awesome legacy!!!! Hello precious Emily...what a beautiful story. I love you give all the glory to our God. Your baby Cassion Samuel is such a beautiful baby. Emily , my brother and his wife were here this week and I too tried to stay off social media. I wanted to be present for them. I wish you a fast recovery and a wonderful time with your husband...how wonderful he gets to be with you and the boys. I remember my husband telling me when we were dating he wanted at least four kids. We were not blesser with biological children , but as we got into out thirties we began cutting hair for free at a school/ home for troubled kids so we fostered troubled older foster sons in our home. They were not always with us a long time...some months some years . Take care and your subs will be here when you feel like getting back on. Much love, virtual hugs and prayers for no more sickness. ❤❤❤❤

Praise God! My parents had seven kids. Five c-sections. (I was a natural birth and they had twins!) They also had a nine year gap because they felt they were done after three. There is hope of many children! God does answer prayers and does honor the desires of our hearts.

Congrats mama!! Ohhh my he's just precious!! I hate you had such a hard time but so thankful you & baby were safe. Love his name, so unusual. My sons name is Samuel! God heard our cries.. we had a hard time getting pregnant, and i just had to surrender to him fully & trust him. I had both my babies by c-section. Healed very quickly with the first one. Had an emergency section with the youngest so i had a spinal tap.. that was horrible! And I didn't heal as quickly.. but i was a bit older so not sure why it took longer 🤷♀️ Yes we definitely need to cling to Gods word, trust in him always, he'll never let us down! My partner has recently been diagnosed with plasma cell multiple myeloma, a diagnosis that has left us both reeling. As a former oncology professional, I understand the gravity of this situation all too well. His persistent back pain was an ominous sign, yet we remain hopeful and steadfast in our faith.

I was so disappointed on hearing that I needed to have a C section, but after having had several miscarriages previously, my dear friend helped me see sense when she said ‘just get the a baby here’.
How true, the most important part of being pregnant, is to have a healthy baby, not how they get there.
