I don't think even a Nazgul would confuse Eowyn with a man if she was wearing that outfit. Hotter than the Fires of Orodruin.

I appreciate the Franzetta style that said this is a very loose, as in near unrecognizable, interpretation of the scene.
To be fair given how Frazetta painted men, it's not impossible that that is standard Rohirrim wargear.
Frazetta's imagination and vision takes me places even Tolkien couldn't...I absolutely love this, both in 2D and 3D. Superb rendition. Would love to see it in monumental scale and white marble.
Looks good - one of the best scenes from the books. Eowyn rocks!
But Eowyn disguised herself as Dernhelm, a man of Rohan. So if she was disguised she wouldn't be rocking 1980s Sword and Sorcery tiddy armor and no leg armor... But I really love the Witch King portrayal here. Very unique.
Eowyn was dressed as a man. Hence the punch line to "No man can kill me."
What a great piece nevertheless!
It's Frazetta, the young men of Rohan would definitely wear that. Though it would probably work better if she stuffed an old rag in the front or something. But on the other hand it's rude to eye up other people's junk so I could see her getting away with it.
