    Sorry for the sound of some clips. Have some problems with my microphone apparently. I tried to improve it in my edit program where it sounded good but on youtube it sounds too loud.

    I'm just guessing, but the mystery metal might be babbit or tin. But then again it could be something entirely different. I do the same thing with my machines if they aren't working exactly right I have to know shy and then get it fixed. I wish you luck. I'll be looking forward to the next video. KOKO!

    My Southbend 7 inch has a grub screw in the bottom of the rocker arm and a flat spot on the shaft for the grub screw to tighten up against. I just took mine apart yesterday and put it back together today.

      Check out my comment above about my Southbend 7 inch. You could damage yours if it has a grub screw.

    Boy a lot going on there. Those chips had to work pretty hard to get way in there to the bearing.

      I hope this metal got in through the previous one. who opened it. but I won't find out until I take those bearings out
