In the middle of the city ambiance, there lies a place of silence. In a very well preserved condition, we find the home of a former French musician Chasnay and his family. The facade is not even visible from the street side due to the colossal vegetation.
The story behind this solitary building is rather sad again. After the woman passed away from cardiovascular morbidity, Mr. Chasnay started putting all his emotions of his deceased wife into playing music. It seems that this gentleman has become blind in later life, which made it more difficult to pursue his passion, enchantingly playing his violins and the upright piano.
Today we take a look at the life of this French family and give this French musician the stage he has always deserved.

Aotearoa New Zealand saying Kiaora korua/Greetings to you both. I have been watching you two for about a month or two now and I am hooked on your explorations. I've watched others but they just dont seem to show the respect that you both and your team show when you are in other people's homes. I just wanted to say that I am getting so used to you two I kind of have to turn your channel on just to hear your voices. great what you both do what an adventure.

This place was amazing! Very sad that the kitchen & front rooms were sooo vandalized😔 The living room & adjoining rooms were beautiful! Sooo sad that it was so decayed! The wooden furniture was gorgeous! The dishes also could be saved. Unfortunately the structure was too far gone for saving 😔The exterior of the house was beautiful! I’m sure, at one time, that it was a beautiful property!!! Please always be careful on your adventures! Thank you for sharing this epic property, I loved it❤️

Hi Maureno and Remon, team Explomo, This was again an amazing explore in that abandoned house of a French musician. At the beginning
I very much enjoyed listening to your medical explanations, dear Maureno, when you were looking at the X-rays, medicines and syringes.
Seeing Remon with the beautiful tiara, that beauty coronet for a woman, on his head was - well quite unique, really an "Urbex princess"! LOL!
But then the banger was that still fairly intact living room with the beautiful carved furniture, many smaller antiques, the wonderful upright piano
and so on. - Despite all the mould and the apparent decay it looked beautiful.
Very interesting and awesome explore, bro, which I enjoyed watching!! - Stay safe and take care!
Lots of blessings, much love and peace to you both, my dear friends. - Kindest regards.

Oh boy, my comment is going to be long! 😂 When you left the house, I was seriously impressed by the stairs and the facade of the building. It looked so grand!
The green glass in the doorway at the entry was so beautiful and made the entranceway beautiful. Also the woodwork on the doors was very nice.
The wallpaper with the birds in the piano room was so pretty. I'd love something similar in my bedroom. I was so surprised that the piano hadn't seized up completely.
The headpiece you found is called by many things. I grew up calling it a diadem; my Mom wore one on the day she got married.
I'm of 2 minds when it comes to taxidermy. I'm not bothered by old pieces, I just don't like when people go out of their way to shoot certain species to be used as a trophy. I grew up with a polar bear rug; it was a gift to my Father from the Inuit people for his kindness when he was stationed in the Arctic with The Royal Canadian Navy. I had it for years but gave it to a friend who really liked it. I wish I had it now, even though it needed restoration.
I bet there was some pretty interesting things upstairs, but of course I'm thrilled you didn't try to find a way up there; thank heavens you're both not reckless.
I just realized that there were no velvet drapes! 😁 But of course the home had those typical shuttered windows that I love. Thanks once again for allowing us along on your journey. Stay safe Maureno and Remon. *I'm still contemplating getting a haircut like Remon's*

Those stuffed animals, are called taxidermy; personally I think it's creepy. There was a Vietnam veteran from the state's, he bought mannequins and dressed them up as he remembered his friends who died in that horrible war, it was a way for him to heal. There's nothing wrong with hunting for food, I don't agree with for sport that's cruel.

Hi guys, the Diafusor Trinitrine 15mg is used for the treatment/prevention of angina pectoris it increases the oxygen flow to the cardiac muscles.
Yes the pen/syringe you found was used to inject Insulin. The item you found at 6:30 is a paper with upraised dots used for people who are blind, it's called Braille (pronounced - bray ell. The item that you referred to as a stick for playing the violin is called a bow pronounced - boh. The cabinet at 21:21 is so beautiful and very well made. The English for the the item you picked up at 22:47 is called a Tiara pronounced - tee ah ra.
A very cool find with some beautiful furniture left behind with so many forgotten memories. Thank you for taking us along, much love. xx 💖

It's called a Hat and Coat Hall Stand/Hall Tree. Designed to your needs, an area for your umbrellas, hats, coats, a bench and some with a small wash basin and mirror. Love these pieces. It says, "welcome make yourself at home." to a dull and boring foyer. A classic look to any home.

The things you guy's go through to get to these places are amazing. No wonder you get tired. This was an interesting home. The piano made me think of my grandmother's house. It's still sitting there since 2003 smh. My aunt has all the control and won't let any of the grandchildren to have anything. It's not worth nothing now because I know the place is decayed but they keep the yard up. Love the cabinetry an the doors in the home. Ty Remon and Maureno. 🙂💖

Hi Explomo, from Spain. Castanets, we call them "castañuelas". It's a traditional instrument, they are used in traditional folklore dances. Not just in flamenco. Flamenco is typical just in Andalucía. Castanets are usually held between thumb and index finger. It's very difficult to play.
So funny with the tiara, like a bride!. Very fan of your videos. Expecting for the next. Thx

Such a unique explore. Almost wished you had opened the video by the entrance stairway. That brought images to my mind of a very magnificent place. It's so sad that the house was left open to the weather. . . so much damage! It's a shame that the roof had not been maintained and that the second floor was falling in. It would have been interesting to see what was up there, but I'm happy you were wise and didn't try to explore it. Your fans have given you great info about the hall tree and the tiara (in USA) I also noted a plate hanging above a door that had a little cut out on the bottom. That was a shaving bowl, the barber would put it under the chin of his client. I don't know why I love shaving bowls, maybe because of the barber and his bowl in "Don Quixote of La Mancha".

Diafusor is a VASO-DIOLATOR - used as a way to keep blood vessels open and clear partly for high blood pressure - it IS a BLOOD THINNER medication to help prevent heart attack or stroke from blood clots or similar. By the way - the piece of furniture to hang coats on in the hall - simple name - called a HALL TREE. That's it. The piece of "jewelry" on the big wooden cabinet is called in English - a TIARA.
