On this year's summer trip throughout Europe, we decided to have a look at this abandoned mansion in France we had saved on our map for a while now. After the original occupants left, new owners had the will to renovate this place.
A newspaper indicates paranormal activities were going on in the property. As we are both quite skeptics about spirits and the paranormal we had to investigate this place. We did not experience any strange things, but we had a blast exploring such a beautiful French mansion rich in history and antiques.

I love the way you both care about each other. Love your accent, if you are from Belgium, my neighbour is from Belgium and just love his accent. I also love the way you just explore, no idioic antics, just explore and respect.. All I felt about this house was sadness. Like you said donate the coats. Thank you from Australia.

LOVE the Art Deco cabinet in the kitchen and a second one just like it in the hall. In the dining room was a beautiful Art Deco table to the left off the piano. Art Deco is my favorite era of the 20th century period (1920 through 1937).

Love it. I agree with Kelly. Looks like maybe the renovators and their children were living in the modern part of the house while doing the work. I've heard that renovations cause spirts to appear because they do not like change. I don't know because I am also very skeptical. I have never experienced anything to show me otherwise. You guys always respectful of every place you go to. That's one of the many reasons that I enjoy watching you guys more than the others. You two work really well together. And you are both very cute (No I am not hitting on you two I'm 65 years old) and I love your accents. I haven't missed any of your adventures and I look forward to the next.

Those front doors were metal and wood. You couldn't just come up to the house and break the door down. It would take some serious effort. And I love those arches. It's the strongest structure ever invented. Much stronger than current construction of houses.

Looks like maybe the renovators and their children were living in that modern part of the house while doing the work.. and then were possibly scared away?... I've renovated 3 Victorian homes in my life, 2 were questionably haunted or at least some very odd stuff happened regularly, but it wouldn't have scared me away!! the place is too beautiful to leave it to be forgotten, ghosts would have just had to deal with me, as I'm unafraid of spooks and spirits.. first thing I would explain to the spirit was.. "give it your best shot, BEEN THERE! DONE THAT!" lol

Hello, it was a beautiful place to see. I want to say that, I wouldn't challenge the spirits there. I'm not into all of that stuff or a Bible pusher but, I know what I have learned and experienced in my life. These spirits are real, if the place is haunted. Please don't do that to yourselfs, meaning taunt with spirits.

That was an amazing house, just beautiful. I agree about the waste of so many clothes and furniture. With all that religious stuff around, you have to wonder why they don't call the church, if they don't have time to deal with things themselves, to have someone come in and go through the furniture and clothes, even food that will only spoil if not used right away, to give it to a family, or many families, who are in such need. All those old and decaying blankets and beds, could have certainly come in useful to others. Very sad.

If the owners were religious, why then didn’t they get priests in to perform an exorcism to be rid of the evil spirits in the name of Jesus.
The renovators could also had priests brought in to clear the place of the spirits that are coursing trouble.
I don’t comprehend why people abandon their home’s to go to ruin.
    Much respect to you guys.

    • @gloriahanes6490
      @gloriahanes6490 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Exorcism is performed on people not buildings, you need a cleansing which can be done by a sensitive or a psychic as some like to be called. I found spirits are more active at night and near the Christmas holiday and the memories of what occurs is what drives people to leave the premises.

Exorcism is done on people not buildings. I asked a priest to do a cleansing on a haunted home, and he sent three nuns with white candles, and it did absolutely nothing. Finally, I asked someone who was religious who speaks to the dead .... spirits gone.

    Hi! Loved the video!!.
The first trunk you opened at the beginning of the video had what looked like small items had been placed between each fold of the blanket.
When you open a cabinet or closet and only one door will open; feel along the vertical side of the closed door. You will find a catch of some kind that will open the door. The picture off The 3 ladies and the baby was a 4 generation picture. It had the baby, the baby's mom, the grandmother of the baby and the baby's great grandmother. I'm assuming this was a picture from the maternal side of the picture.
And last but not least. Watch the video so you can see when the volume was to low or muffled.
I hope a new video will we coming soon. And thank you again for the video.

It was very nice just wonder what happened there. Did you see the man in the mirror downstairs? I know ghost do exist. If you had been there at night you may have found out what happened. Thank you for the interesting find. Appreciate you young men.

Hello from Spain 🖖🏻, Explomo, I love your videos.
I have a question, is there a girl with you two? At approximately 19:09, a female voice is heard when you talk about the gas mask.
Keep it up, you are the best! 😎🖖🏻

Es verdad que a veces hay una mujer que les acompaña, pero se puede ver en algunos momentos. En ese vídeo no aparece en ningún momento pues parece que están los dos solos.

You are right. I also hear a female voice. Mixed right in as they are talking. I tried over and over to hear what word was being said but it was right as they talking so it's hard to understand.

What a wonderful adventure ! ! This was so interesting and yet sad at the same time with the personal items and pictures left behind. Thank you so much for the video. I'm glad you guys are protecting yourself with the masks, you don't want to breathe in any of the mold or dust or God knows what else.

The silvering at the back of the mirror is coming off. It happens in the damp in old houses and indeed even in a house that is used. The silvering is very thin and not designed to last for centuries. It is also very expensive to have a mirror re-silvered. thank you again for sharing this house with us, You always take such care of what you are looking at. Any parent would be proud to call you son

Hello Maureno and Remon! Absolutely amazing house . Many question's why now is abandoned? Because it is big enough for big family. I am believing in paranormal activity but maybe now It is better left the house alone . Thank you for sharing your adventure in France and please take care of yourselves , stay safe too. 👋🇺🇸😷😘👍🙏👼

The old kitchen utensils always remind me of my grandma. I also like the entrance hall with the arches. I don't believe the scary stories. There are always myths and horror stories about abandoned places, but I don't believe in ghosts. By the way I have many questions. It's strange if so many is left behind. Family photographs, so much photographs. So sad!

The corner seat looks to be Bentwood. The style seems to be 1960’s? Some of the maple furniture may be 1940’s through 1960’s
Really lovely house. You are sooo respectful. I love the hand railing pattern . That sink on 2nd floor looks new. Some wardrobe in that blue room. The Reno could be financed by selling some of that furniture! Very large bedrooms. Wall paper looks to be expensive in the rocking chair room. Crib in the storage room is so fancy with the curved end.
Thank you gentlemen for taking me places I will never be able to go.

14:18 Hat: Kepi D' Officier Forme Foulard Lieutenant. I just can't seem to find the year, it might be 1937 or 1900. French Foreign Legion. You definitely had soldiers living in this mansion, not sure if they were family or made themselves at home.
This could be your wondering unrested spirits, that died while hiding in the wine cellar. There might be a couple of hidden wall panels or passage ways leading downstairs and outside. An escape route in case of an attack or war.
