The black bedroom set with the coat of arms with ebonized wood and gilding is worth $10,000 USD or maybe even more (as a complete set with bed, ciel de lit, window valences and bedside table). I just bought a French Henri II bed made of solid rosewood that reminds me of that one. The set in the video here was made from 1860-1880 as a revival-style set.

This place captured the essence of Spain so well. The incredible artworks and furniture in this house I’ve seen in similar places but also in some ordinary, middle class homes in Spain and Portugal. This was obviously an old aristocratic family but again you guys did this visits with such sensitivity and grace 👏☺️
As much as I prefer to leave everything intact, it’s clear no one is going to renovate this place anytime soon. It would be great for a furniture restorer to take the furniture and old items to his shop and fix and sell them to ppl who can cherish them and give them a new life. Otherwise all these wonderful pieces will end up in a landfill...All of these items are worthy of preserving. That huge love seat or Church pew that had a highback and material on front, I agree was truly amazing and a restorer needs to rescue it quickly before the elements of rain start seeping through the cracks and ceilings. Maybe even a Church can get some of these items.

@Lady Aly my grandmother always said she lived in the most wonderful time. My grandparents went from traveling in covered wagons as a small child to airplanes, going to the moon. Seeing much progress in their lifetime.
This was so amazing to watch. It is a testament to how sound the structure was built hundreds of years ago. I have seen abandoned castles on other channels but never one this old or so true to the original structure. I could actually envision what it must have been like to live there in the 14th century. Thank you so much for sharing. This was truly a masterpiece.
#EXplomo: Maurino and Remon, just thoroughly enjoyed your exploration of the 14th century castle. You guys do a very great job in your travels. I had four boys and one girl and had no idea that anyone would travel and explore like you and others do. Gorgeous historic place. Ancient and magnificent!! Glad that you guys are preserving history for us as sadly few others are. This gorgeous complex truly deserves to be kept intact. I loved the beautiful door leading in to the chapel and chapel itself. The doors seem to exemplify the moorish architectural style that greatly influenced Spain. Beautiful carving throughout the home. You truly bring joy to those of us who cherish history, architecture, art, and interior design. Such a blessing you all are!! Good bless your journeys. Safe travels! ❤️
What a lovely place! You are both brave to walk into that room which had stands to hold up the ceiling. Doing this sort of exploring can be hazardous! Thanks so much, guys! xxx
It's always interesting to see such a large place have small rooms. There are so many abandoned places with so much stuff just wasting away. Sad when so many people could use it. I love the way you go slowly through the rooms and show everything. It makes it so much more interesting. Thanks for all your hard work!
My heart hurts when I see places going to ruin. Wish I was rich, I'd replace roofs to prevent more decay. This is one of my favorite places you've shown us.❤👍😊
Fabulous castle, looks like it’s been abandoned since the 70’s the things in the dining room from that era, cups, glass fish. Amazing furniture! Apparently in Spain, once the roof goes, it’s illegal to do a property up, also lot’s of inheritance tax and disputes in families with wills etc. It would be such a waste if this castle and the furniture isn’t saved. Strange how it’s so easy to get into. I really like your videos, relaxing and calming, thank you both x
Again, I'm at a loss to express what watching your video means to me. So ancient~ so beautiful~ such history!! Thank you. Loved your entro and the beautiful Spanish guitar music that was so fitting to the subject. The drone shots alone made me eager to watch the video! Such a wonderous Castle !! The thick walls, the plastered walls, the fireplace, the furniture! Wow, can't say enough. The bedrooms were beautiful designed. You could almost feel the family members who slept there. The weight of the doors and the designs just breathed their age! Loved the little chapel and the chapel roof. Thank you, TY TY. I deeply enjoyed the video! Stay healthy during the Covid comeback. God bless both of you!
Amazing! It's hard to believe that this is still standing strong. It could actually be lived in again. I loved your music choices, too. Enjoy Spain! NY Nana
Hi Maureno & Remon, wow what a stunning historic place, think of all of the history that place has seen over the centuries. I really loved that bed, it was just so decorative and royal looking. The item at 16:38 is called a hole punch in the UK. The ball game on the bed at 18:14 is called Croquet pronounced crowkay. That church was so beautiful and very historic, wow an awesome explore. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx💖🤘

You guys do such a great job showing every detail of all the places you explore. You both have explored some amazing places. Keep up the great exploring and I will keep looking for your next adventure.
This is super interesting. My, how things have changed. I don't see many windows, and the stone walls lack warmth, but I imagine things were quite stylish back then. Their furniture was sure built to last. Such wonderful design. I wish we could see this castle when it was filled with people. History is so interesting, and you help us to get to see some of it. Thank you!
Most castles had few windows. And, most of those were protection features; not easy to launch weapons into the buildings; instead of being for the view. I loved the little window seat.
Hi dear friends from fabulous team Explomo, I am nearly speechless!! - That's incredible, what you are showing in this video. - Everything is really looking so unbelievably historical. - I liked seeing that bedroom with the four poster bed with the red drapes. - Very old paintings, ancient furniture and a lot more incredibly interesting items were visible. - Thank you so much, bro, for taking us on this really magical tour! - I am already looking forward to your next adventure. - That was such a pleasure "walking" in mind at your side through these still practically untouched rooms with no visible vandalism. - Magnificient!! - This whole place has a completely museal vibe. - I hope, that it is maintained somehow, because a location of this caliber should be preserved by all means!!! - Stay safe, dear friends, and take care! - Wishing you all the best, peace and lots of blessings. Kindest regards from again very sunny Switzerland.
Hi there bro Willy! Thank you so much for commenting again. Happy you enjoyed going on another adventure with us through this place rich in history. 1:42 That looks really old. 2:10 Stained glass showing knights. Magnificent. 3:11 That looks very medieval and very dark. No windows. 6:24 The construction is so rough and old. 27:34 That is a beautiful view and would make a great photo. That was an amazing historic building with a random layout. It would be a little depressing living there. Too dark and rough for me.
Outstanding ancient castle. I love these built in the 13 and 14th centuries. The antiques are incredible. I had 2 explores tonight that were mostly completely decayed so this helped get over my disappointment. Thank you for this one and hopefully see you soon!❤😂
Thankyou, my Great grandfather immigrated from Espana to Mexico, this helps me to connect and also understand the ancestry of California my own still very Spanish state of California
Hi. The castle is remarkable, from beginning to end. It’s amazing that thankfully it hasn’t been vandalized or filled with graffiti-All these years! Please be careful. It looked as though a lot of dry-rot (in English) decay was in the wood. The beams could look normal but actually resemble rotted sawdust inside. I’ve been watching videos on yt made by an English family restoring a chateau in France (“Doing It Ourselves”). In the gardener’s cottage they’d removed the upstairs flooring down to the beams; and ready to start laying a new floor; when they discovered those great, fine looking beams were rotted on the inside and had to also be replaced (those 2 videos of how they accomplished that were awesome). Anyway, the purpose in my sharing is to remind you to be careful; and also, I think you’ll enjoy watching a chateau being restored to its former glory and lived in again; all work and grounds keeping done by the family. This castle your brought us amazes me. The architecture, open fireplace, and lovely furnishings left behind. THANK YOU for bringing us along. Loving you Maureno, Remon, and all Explomo team in the US! Stay safe. Stay Well! (With all respect, I hope it was ok to share where you can find video of rotted beams that looked strong but weren’t, if interested. Pls let me know if I’ve goofed.) Love.
To say this was a treat is the biggest understatement. I cannot thank you both enough for all you do to honor and celebrate these invaluable places and things of our human history.
This was beautiful beyond compare. I’ve been waiting for a Medieval castle. What a thrill. Some of the furniture was perfect for this castle even though it mightn’t have been from the same period of the castle itself. I loved the simplicity of the rooms. Less is more. This has been a thrill!!! Thankyou.

I was researching castles. it's amazing how many are for sale. It seems that fixing them up is very very expensive. Part of the problem is that most of them are in a remote location. The roads are often not good enough for large trucks to travel on. The shipping costs are often astronomical. That is maybe why so much furniture is left behind. it's fine to move a few things but the more you try to take, the less worth it it is I guess.
Thanks so much you guys. You give me the opportunity to explore by the seat of my pants. I will never be able to do what you do or travel to Europe but you give me such joy in watching wonderful explorations. It saddeneds me to see the beautiful relics going to waste. Happy New year to you and yours.
Very beautiful castle... Red badroom, antique wooden babycar ,wooden fireplace, chairs, enteresting. Dear Maureno and Remon very very thank you... 👍🤗💛🤗👍😍😍😊
That thing sitting by the fire place is from a tree. It is actually a growth that grows on the side of a tree and it is called a BURL. In most places you will pay an absolute fortune for these as they are prized because when you cut one in half it is absolutely stunningly beautiful. Keep up the god work guys. Luv u both.
What is most amazing besides it's still standing, is that a major amount of content is still present. Such a beautiful piece of untouched history. I'm honestly surprised that the owner of the property has not had the rooms that are decomposing cleared of the relics they house, before they are completely destroyed.
Im amazed at your videos I worked for Rudi Egon Scheidt from Germany ,he just passed a few months ago at 95,his wife Helen honey Hoeinburg Schiedt she recently passed a few moth ago also at 89 ,they were the king and queen of cotton and other things ,Banks,etc.....Its amazing that a lot of the items you are showing in these castles they had in their home.I was always amazed at all the furniture, curtains,crowns,etc....But it amazes me that all these valuables are left behind, one item can carry a poor person for the rest of their lives....
Can you just imagine living in a 14th century castle as it was that long ago and keeping it that way as you live in it only 20 years ago! That would be a bit spooky. Just an amazing video. Thank you!!
The Government Spain must restore it, it will create some Jobs and will repay for the cost of restoration. Tourists will love to visit such places. Guy thanks for your great work 🙏🏿

Please show all the rooms. The bathrooms are fascinating! Hidden cupboards and closed doors are always magical even if empty. It allows the viewer to dream about what might have been...Thank you!
That is over 2 decades old considering what I am seeing of decay to the home. My best guess due to the dust on the area, and the jacks holding the roof to one room that is about 40 years abandoned. And thank you for sharing this, good to see this architecture.

🍃🍃A MAGNIFICENTLY🍃🍃 HISTORICALLY BEAUTIFUL CASTLE! The unique spectacular bed design, craftsmanship and words cannot describe the BEAUTY! I am still trying to figure out the Bed headboard. The Crest Mystical Griffin creature, and strangely enough the Lion on the right...not facing the Crest proudly, but away to the right?? Possible out of shame? What is the symbol in front of the Lion? Whoever the family members were, descendants, or represented, this Magnificent Castle had purposely cleared all traces. First time I see a castle with no family portraits hanging on those beautiful stone walls...Who cares right, this was a 14 Century well preserved GEM! I loved the STONE of it all. It's always interesting to see such a large place have small rooms. There are so many abandoned places with so much stuff just wasting away. Sad when so many people could use it.
I love the way you go slowly through the rooms and show everything. It makes it so much more interesting. Thanks for all your hard work!
small rooms are easier to keep warm :)

I agree. Great explorations!
Thank you from USA. Fabulous history one never sees from across the ocean.
Cierto podrían sacarle provecho para ayudar a otros necesitados
I think you guys are doing absolutely amazing work!
Thank you for bringing us to these amazing treasures!
Thank you for sharing, much love. xx💖🤘
not a church but a chapel
@@garryr4308 Thank you.
WOW!!! LOVE THE 14th century CASTLE!!!! Absolutely amazing!!
Hi both this is amazing, isn’t it rustic ,the plate you said served tea on is called a tray .This has been left a very long time .Is nice to still see the cooking items ,an furnishings. You always manage to find fab places .If only walls could talk ,I loved the picture of the man .The bedroom is beautiful, the bed is amazing,it should definitely be saved an the matching side table .The room is really lovely,I love the fire place in their beautiful blue .great find as always .The game is an English one croquets it’s played on the lawn ,thank you both my favourite explorers stay safe much love Ann uk

- Everything is really
looking so unbelievably historical. - I liked seeing that bedroom with the four poster bed with the red drapes. - Very old paintings, ancient furniture
and a lot more incredibly interesting items were visible. - Thank you so much, bro, for taking us on this really magical tour! - I am already looking
forward to your next adventure. - That was such a pleasure "walking" in mind at your side through these still practically untouched rooms with no
visible vandalism. - Magnificient!! - This whole place has a completely museal vibe. - I hope, that it is maintained somehow, because a location
of this caliber should be preserved by all means!!!
The bedroom with the red drapes was one of our favourites too! It was so typical Spanish.
Much blessings to you and your mom! Best wishes out there and stay safe you both ☺️🙌🏼
See you at the next one again!!🙏🏼
@@Explomo , Hi again, You are so very welcome, and it's my pleasure as well!! My mom and I watched just three minutes ago
your video, and we were both overwhelmed about everything you were showing and commenting so accurately, dear friends.
Hope to see you later, after corona is over!!- Take care, bro, and be safe, my dear friends.
Willy, I always look for your comments before I comment because, so often, I am getting ready to enter the same things. Always enjoy your comments. Stay safe during Covid 2 ~
@@grandmacarla4258 , Hi there, Grandma Carla, What a lovely feedback! - I really appreciate, and it makes me so happy to read, that you enjoy my comments. - By the way I am also quite often reading your as always interesting comments. - Stay safe, too! Kindest regards.
I had 2 explores
tonight that were mostly completely decayed so this helped get over my disappointment. Thank you for this one and hopefully see you soon!❤😂
Thankyou, my Great grandfather immigrated from Espana to Mexico, this helps me to connect and also understand the ancestry of California my own still very Spanish state of California
I live in a small village in Spain. I would love to live in thus place! Magnificent job you guys do!
Thankyou.
This was amazing. The best castle yet... wow. This is history. Thank you for posting
Hi! Maureno and Remon , Ssandie & Tom here. We live in Bath Somerset England & we watch & like every video you do. Keep up the great videos & stay safe & well.
Do u know Tim and Andy Bath? They are brothers from
Bath. Do u know how I can look up ppl? They aren’t on fb.
@@LGAussie Sorry I don't know them. Maybe if you look at births & deaths register or the electro roll register.
@@blueangel5843 yeah, probably electro, good idea. Thanks, but probably hard to differentiate those with same common name. There should be a website where ppl say where they used to live, with their name, and others can contact them there. 🌝🙏
@@LGAussie Yes true, that would be a great idea but as you know it would be too much work for some people to set it up lmao. I will see if I can find anything on line to search as well for you mate x
@@blueangel5843 Thsnks so much Sandra! That’s generous and kind of you.
I remember his dad had a large business boat. They could have been fishermen?
I remembered it was a fairly big boat and I got seasick. 🤣🤣. Maybe there’s a Bath Fishing business that’s easier to look up, but that was 30 years ago at least. They may have handed it down or closed up shop, but the business may be easier if the name “Bath” is attached?
Anyway, hope it’s easy for you to find. 🌝🙏

I really liked the old wooden furniture, chapel, & all of the rooms! The stonework was amazing!!! I loved the garden! Thank you for sharing this with us! I loved it ❤️
What an amazing place. Needs a new roof and other repairs but still amazing . Sad it is unoccupied.
What a fabulous find, I can't believe people would leave all that behind. It broke my heart. I hope someday the family comes back.
Stay safe my friends. 🌈
I appreciate low volume and pacing, it was relaxing and fascinating. Only thing I would suggest is having a history buff/ enthusiast tag along with you as you seem to misdate and don’t have a lot of context. Stay curious! Thanks for the vids.
Absolutely amazing place of history. Can’t imagine how awesome it is to be able to see this. Hi from Tennessee!
Most important thing is that the two of you stay safe! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. 😊🇺🇸

Hi guys! I saw this place from Urbex Woman and I saw that room with filming cameras and chains in the wall that you don't want to show. Good for you, because the felling watching that hidden room is devastating. Great video.
This castle was amazing ! You go slowly through the rooms to get the total affect. I loved this video, thanks for the very interesting tour.

Does that mean you are Native Indians if Canada, like Alaskans?

What is most amazing besides it's still standing, is that an amazing amount of content is still present. Such a beautiful piece of untouched history.
Hi Maureno and Remon, you never disappoint. I love this. Thank you for sharing it with us.
👍🤗💛🤗👍😍😍😊
I love the respect y'all show. God bless you 🙏
I'm watching from the USA this medieval castle is mouth watering it's so beautiful
This is the second time I’ve watched this video. It’s just as wonderful as the first time.
Guy thanks for your great work 🙏🏿
When I watch these types of videos I always want to buy the places and fix them up. The only problem is I live in Washington, have no skill and have no $$. Such a cool video. Good job guys!
Está casa e linda meu DEUS e a forma que vocês mostra com todo o respeito de história que ficou para tras da família estes móveis são incríveis as paredes tudo MARAVILHOSO. Parabéns

What an epic place!!! I LOVED THIS!!! Love castles!!! Sooo sad that it is sooo badly decayed 😔 ALL of the gorgeous wooden furniture definitely needs to be saved!!! The chapel, ceilings were beautiful!!! Loved the chapel!!! Again, the furniture was priceless!!! No handicapped back then, wouldn’t be able to handle all of the stairs😒 Thank you both for sharing this beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful castle! I loved it ❤️
A timeless treasure going to waste which should be in a museum.
Uuuff!! 😨 De película, total suspenso y emocion 😅 hoy si nos metimos hasta la cocina 😮 asombroso lugar!! Felicidades 👏👏👏👍

Loved this!...the structure of this Mansion could last another 100 yrs...the game on the bed is called "Croquet", played with wooden mallets & wooden balls...object of the Game is to hit your ball thru little wire hoops ..bit more to the game tho...The furniture & Fireplaces were very beautiful..TY Maureno & Remon...Great explore!...Stay Safe...

I love watching your videos on TH-cam adventures in abandoned castles amazing stuff and the historical stories of the families that once lived there!
Towards the end, there was a room where you said they made something in there. I believe they made olive oil. Spain is very well known for olive oil.

First time I see a castle with no family portraits hanging on those beautiful stone walls...Who cares right, this was a
14 Century well preserved GEM!
I loved the STONE of it all.
BRAVO to you both!
