Hello Clara, personally never had a patient with Bell's Pallsy before. I've been told by a really old chinese Dr. with lots of experience that you only treat the sane side or the opposite side ear. How do you find this recommendation? By the way I noticed that you don't use the LI4 in the first treatment. I think that would be a very powerful addition the combination LI4 & Lv 3. Thank you for your amazing videos, you know that I'm a big time fan. Keep in touch...
I think there are many ways of treating any disorders in TCM. And it’s all about trying them and sticking with the ones that resonate 🥰 I’ve had great success treating it. For Li 4, I don’t use it on SP Qi sinking patient because it’s too strong and would probably tired them even more 💗
Hi Clara, I have a Patient who has had Bells Palsy for ten years. It has improved with physio and a little bit of acupuncture in the past but he is just coming to me now for acupuncture treatments. What would you suggest? Thanks!
thank you for sharing. I recently got diagnosed with bells and I thought about Accupunture, this video made me confident about making an appointment. thanks
thanks for video!my acupuncturist is working on sjogens (auto immune).but i find hard to smile, fatigue, ears pop(like under water),and random tooth pain.between eyes pressure.
That’s a great subject! Will do in the new year in my new podcast! Big news! I’m starting a podcast in January 🥰 the AcuPro Show! And this is a great idea for an episode! Thank you 🙏
@@Acuproacademy that's really exciting! I start two classes January so that's perfect timing! Now I just need to subscribe to a podcast app! Unless you're also posting on TH-cam?
It's in the video...Usually, I try to tell the patient that it’d be great to come at least twice to three times a week depending on the schedule and what can be done for them, but at least twice not less than that. Three times a week would be much more effective or faster. Two times a week still works quite well. On average, it usually lasts for 2 to 6 weeks, but in some cases, it can last for several months or longer! If we are able to start treatment as soon as we can once diagnosed, the better 🙏🏼
I need your advice about my patient. She has Bells Palsy,as the resolt of operation on menigeoma of brige pont angle .I treat her with acupuncture.l need some strategy in closing the eye.Help me please with advice
Did you watch the video? It shows everything you need to do for it…and as I mentioned it depends on how long this is been happening 🙏 Gua Sha around the eye, needling, eye patch…
Hi, clara i had bell's pallsy 2 times and now is my 3 time after 10 years. but this time i didn't recover yet. and i didn't take any medicare . any advise plz ?

Thank you for the video! I'm on Day 18 and my Bell's Palsy is considered mild. I took steroids for 10 days and I do regular massage and exercises. I want to start acupuncture, but do you think it's late for me or will I still see fast results since my case is also mild? I've seen improvement mostly around my mouth and the smile, but my eyes are showing the slowest progress I don't know why. Also, which points are good to help with the eye blinking to be back to normal? Thank you in advance!
Maam Clara, is it okay having acupuncture and steroid medication at the same time for patients with Bell's Palsy? Thank you. This lecture is awesome. Thank you very much! 🫶

Do you not use ST 36 instead of ST 26
What do you mean? For what purpose? I do use ST 36 yes but not instead of ST 26 as they have different functions 🌷
For Bell's palsy do you use St 36? Your slide showed St 26
@@tarmahomedjoosub5552 absolutely I use ST 26 for Spleen Qi sinking as it helps lift it 🌷
