Thanks for sharing that tip! I made a video as I was editing this one with similar tips I was testing thanks to the internet and reddit. The only bummer is that some people don't want to lose 4k on their tvs and constantly have to switch. So hoping Sony does some updating.
I don't have a Playstation so I can't say I'll be getting one, but I appreciate the deep dive into different games and how they performed. It seems like a cool product!
It was not during this video as I had just unboxed and turned it on. It currently is now though. I made a tips video suggesting it to be wired if possible.
the portal is not the problem everyone is moaning about it. The problem is your internet. If you dont have a good internet connection, your games wont play well.
I've been enjoying mine. Just beat my first game on it! I think the problem is that there are still hiccups sony needs to address, which they are starting to. They just had a patch go live yesterday.
The Portal doesn't use your internet unless you are outside of your house, so please don't post nonsense. If you are at home, on the same network as your PS5, it never touches your internet - it uses the LAN, not the WAN.
It did sell out. But you're right, they haven't been marketing it very much, even with the holidays coming. We'll see how it all plays out. I've been enjoying it currently, but there are flaws that need to be addressed.
I guess u have not watch the videos saying how great this is or the reply’s by happy buyers. Was not given much hype by Sony but my bet is they add steaming services soon and it will continue to impress. I own the Logitech G Cloud and I love it but PS Portal is better for total gaming. I’m sure it’s the controller that and 8 inch screen that puts it over the top for me.
I found that changing the output on the ps5 to 1080p fixed most of the stuttering issues. Also make sure the PS5 is hard wired.

The portal is getting nicknamed....the DadStation. lol
@@Ideal-Setup Maybe it's time to switch 😆
Thanks for the video.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
What hype? There has been none 😄
LOL! It did sell out.
@@Ideal-Setup To scalpers.
Always sold out 😭
Was your ps5 wired?

@@Ideal-Setup I asked because of the download tanking the connection. Believe that would help.
@@jeffcarrier9808 Oh gotcha. I haven't tried that again since. Been playing Yakuza 0 on it, lol. Been having a blast.
Yes mine is

So, it's just a polished WiiU?
Similar concept, yes.
When we hack this you’ll see
I bet!😂
What hype? Sony really isn't doing much to market this device and I haven't seen anyone yet that is excited for it.

@@michaelnewburn-e5j The controller is super comfortable. Most comfortable handheld I've ever had.
it as sold out in most places, ask yourself why.
So true. It just feels right.
