- In this video, I'm unboxing the new PlayStation Portal and sharing my initial thoughts.
The PlayStation Portal is a new way to play games on your PlayStation 5. It's a remote play device that connects to your PlayStation 5, and it lets you play games without having to use a controller. I'm excited to try it out and see how it works!

The portal is amazing for what i got it for, taking my ps5 to work without actually taking my ps5 to work. I mainly use it in my downtime at work for a bit, and to not have to lug the heavy ps5 and a tv to work, this fits perfectly for the useage. Great video.

While I don't have an issue with anyone disagreeing with, or disliking the Portal, I can't stand it when a person's argument is based on what they would have liked the Portal to be, as opposed to what it actually is. Sony has always been very clear with its branding and advertising. It's people who've set their own hopes and expectations too high, only to let themselves down, blame Sony, and trash the Portal. I've personally been waiting for this since they announced it, and I love mine. This is my first time seeing your channel, but you've got a new sub here 💪🏾

My PlayStation pulse 3d elite are working 💪
Saying the steam deck is 600$ feels very disingenuous, that's for the most expensive model which all it does is add more storage. It's 400$ for the base model but you can upgrade the storage very easily. Other than that I thought it was a good review and will likely purchase one myself.

Hey bro how much internet speed required to run this thing smoothly?
How come everytime i put my ps5 on rest and i want to play on my portal it cuts on but doesn’t connect to the internet please help me
I would assume no OLED because it might draw more power. Few questions: How long was the battery life of the device again? From the PS App on my phone I can download games to my console and add games to my library. Can I do that on this device? Lastly, can you test the D-pad on a fighting game to see how the responsiveness feels compared to regular controllers? Great review by the way bro.

Is this the only way to get haptics/rumble for Remote Play? I'm pretty sure they're disabled when using a DualSense controller with the Remote Play app.
I believe so but I’m not sure because I don’t game off the app
I noticed that the rumble motors and the adaptive triggers are much much much weaker than in the controllers😅 a bit of a weird choice if you ask me
Make sure they are set to the strongest setting

"Drawing power" was not the right way to describe how the Portal works. You'll confuse people with that. "Powered By" would have been better.

I feel like I would buy this for my lady to game with me. So she doesn’t feel like she has to look all over the tv screen for who she is. Lol.
🤣🤣 I’m curious to see how that would work because from my experience once I connect this it disconnects my other controller
@@YoNuggGaming Some people on TH-cam mentioned using it as a second controller. So far, there aren't any videos showing it in practice.
@@jeuvideoiihizq i don’t think it’s possible because it mirrors your PS5 . Usually when I connect it says “connected via remote play and my main controller turns off
Take some of that money and get a camera with good autofocus bruv.

So do I need to hotspot from my mobile over the home WiFi as got my ps5 at home or do I need a portable WiFi device like a portable router I live in Kent England 🏴 so only want to play like the form of god of war ect single player games or is this a no go please help
You don’t need to do hotspot if you have home WiFi you can just connect

I hope there is another way to login and play games because the Xbox been doing this...via the app...whether phone or tablet. Just need your controller.

There already are other ways to log in and play games via the app; whether it be phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or handheld PCs. The Portal is new, remote play isn't. This is just another way to experience it, and XBox never has done that. Name one handheld device that Microsoft released for the XBox... 🤔⌚
