You’re welcome mate. With the Ethernet port, you’ll have to change the entire port and can get quite costly even at certified repairers, unless you’ve got the technical know-how to go about it. If your internet connection is good, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal

Great video! I have a question about gameplay, I would love to buy the portal for playing Warzone resurgence on the go, I know I won’t be competitive but I want to know if I will have fun playing as I do when on my tv
The biggest challenge would be getting good internet connection while on the go otherwise playing on 1080p screen is still super fun and you won’t notice that big of a difference
Thanks for the good video! Is there a way to get the zoom accessibility setting working on the Portal? I have it enabled and use it frequently on my PS5 and would need it for the Portal since there are several games that have small text and on a smaller screen, the text is even harder to read. Since the PS & square button are both on the Portal which are used to turn it on & adjust it like usual, is there a way to get it to work on Portal? Thanks so much for any advice!
Thank you for watching and for the great question! I completely understand the need for zoom accessibility, especially when dealing with smaller text on the Portal's screen. Unfortunately, as of now, the PS5's zoom accessibility feature isn’t directly supported on the PlayStation Portal, since it functions as a remote display rather than a standalone console.
I settled up a wired connection and the problems are literally gone. Maybe a slight fraction of a second I get a haze or a skip. But gameplay it’s uninterrupted seamless
So I had to check after you asked us if there's any difference between "buttery" and "battery" 😄 Looking away from the screen, and just listening to that little bit several times… no, they sound pretty much the same to me when you say them! I hope this doesn't cause you any problems when you're doing the grocery shopping. 😊

Yeah it gives you all the haptic feedback you’d get on the dual sense controller and the screen is also a decent size. The few things I’d wish for are Sony to open up media consumption and browsing the internet as well as the need to have your console on in order to play on the portal

Hey mate! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the PlayStation Portal. Even with a strong 237Mbps connection, there are a few things you can try to reduce lag: 1. **Check Network Congestion**: Make sure other devices aren't hogging bandwidth while you're gaming. Streaming, downloads, or multiple connected devices can cause lag spikes. 2. **Switch to 5GHz Wi-Fi**: If your router supports 5GHz, try connecting your Portal to that band instead of 2.4GHz. The 5GHz band offers faster speeds and less interference, though it has a shorter range. 3. **Router Settings**: Adjust your router's Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize your Portal for gaming. This can help reduce latency during gameplay. Give these tips a try and see if it helps smooth things out! Let me know how it goes!
