One thing that I picked up from this video and the one about automated crystal growth is that the "Processing" patterns actually work in a pretty funny way. "Throw those resources inside of *this* block and then just wait for the desired outcome to appear in the system." This allows for much more complex autocrafting structures, than I initially thought was the limit of AE2.
After trying for two days, I gave up and searched for a video. This worked perfectly ..... still haven't figured out my mistake(s) but this saved my butt from endless hours of frustration!! Thanks :3
A cool way i found to automate this process is to follow the same path on automating the printed processors with AE2 itself, but to actually assemble the processors i simply put a ME interface with the three processor crafting patterns in it and connect it to a chest, this chest then has 3 logistical sorters from Mekanism, each connected to a Quantum Entangloporter, the way it works is that the ingredients get sent to their respective entangloporters by being sorted by the logistical sorters, the entangloporters then are connected to three entangloporters that are connected to an inscriber, loading each ingredient from bottom, top and sides. After it completes the crafting it simply sends the processor back to the system, completing the crafting process.
It’s a really well made tutorial and it gave me some ideas for autocrafting. The level emitter setup is nice, but if you want a more compact alternative you can have a storage bus connected to an interface with a storage card and you can config the items and the amount of them in the “Config” part of the interface.
It's always good to see this kind of tutorial. But I would love to see one of these about Matter Overdrive mod. Would be cool. The Mindcrafters content is really well done.
You guys have the best tutorial videos, simple and easy to follow while still being understood and getting straight to the point! Would love to see more
in 1.16 at least, you can rotate the inscriber with the certus quartz wrench and pipe the resources in with hoppers on the top and sides, while another hopper pulls out the product from the bottom. Very useful video, and I really liked the compact setup you had here!
Would you be able to submit this world for download? I am a relatively new player to AE2 and I'd benefit greatly looking at a few things on your builds.
You can put the final press in a sub net and hook up storage busses to the three sides of it for its inputs. Then you place the crafting recepie for the processors in the interface leading to the sub net. Works and no chest, or another mod besides ae2.
The trouble with this concept is that it entirely depends on Ender IO filtering, which is dead for any version past 1.12.x. Think I'll learn the AE2 way instead.
How am i suppose to give those inscriber power, specifically in that automation build using applied synergistic? Edit: Your instruction is kinda confusing for some new people, you should show what you put in those ME interface as well.
I set it up exactly as you have at 6 minutes and it kinda works. It'll start crafting stuff and pulls the first few items into the system but then stops and i have to manually move the products to the chest so it'll continue. Then the finished products stay in the chest and i have to move them back into the system manually. not sure what's going on.
Did you every figure this out? I just set this up and am having the same issue. If I craft the circuits one at a time it's fine but if I try to do them in bulk it will just stop for no reason.
@@Ramsus32 So I had the same issue - its putting a item filter for just the finished processors on the top ME interface - as I realised it was just sucking back uip all the resources into the system. So only whitelist the final ones going back IN to the system if that makes sense?
Very good video but there is an issue in the "endgame" auto inscriber : if you put too many orders at once, the chest will be full, and the output wont reach the system, so be sure to place another chest for the output if you want to make those 16M cells
good video! helped me figure out how to automate this without using a secondary mod (enderio for you). you can fully automate the inscribers with just AE2 (at least now in R6)

At the back inscriber which is making the processors it's taking a very long time to both insert and extract the items and I don't know why. the one and only thing that i find stupid in ae2 is that you cannot automate the crafting of anything that is made with the inscriber with the auto crafting OF AE2
Same here. I wish he went into greater detail as to how each individual piece should be setup and configured so we can learn. As it stands, my uncondensed AE one produces multiples of the printed pieces, but can only make a single finished processor per order or it breaks and hangs up indefinitely. Not sure why...but as someone new to AE, I bet I would understand better if the instructions in this tutorial were more thorough and less rushed, imho.
