@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Poor little poppet - my little grey girl has inflammatory bowl disease so she has to eat very carefully. She’s not fond of the special food and always tries to eat the other cat food for my boy. She seems ok on her quarter cortisone per day. But one does worry - I don’t suppose an inhaler would help Todd? There’s a video on how to use one but it’s more for asthma, I think…
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalkshi, I'm new to the channel, subscribed last night after one video and wanted to get to know more about Todd. I'm wondering if feline herpes is like the human types as far as "lodging" in the spinal cord after the initial infection. Has the vet explained this? From what I understand, the human herpes that causes chicken pox will lodge in the spinal cord where the virus gained entry. And if the person gets shingles years or decades later, the extent is determined by where the virus has lodged. The higher up in the spinal cord, the greater the area that's affected. (You're lucky if you catch chicken pox on a toilet seat because the shingles will only affect the area around the tailbone but no higher, crazy as it sounds). Also, before outbreaks of shingles or cold sores, people often report a sensation of tingling along the nerve pathway involved. I'm wondering if it might be the same with feline herpes. If so, Todd might be able to let you know ahead of time that it's coming on, although you've said it's pretty much constant. Hopefully it'll lead to better treatment and management not only for Todd but also for other afflicted cats. Best wishes!
Thank you dad for explain this in detail. 🙏 You have a relaxing voice 😊 What a good care you give specially to Todd. He is very lucky to have you as his dad. And the strategy to learn him body-parts is clever. I look forward to it! Although the word ‘belly’ he knows already😉
Poor guy! I don't know if it will help Todd's issue - but wanted to put it out here just in case.....or to even spur on other ideas you could come with that could help. Something I do when my cats are stuffy (or when I'm stuffy) is just open a jar of Vick's and let them breathe the fumes in. It's what I do when I have a cold....so once I made sure the fumes weren't toxic, I tried it on my cat. It seemed to help. Once I made sure that they wouldn't try to lick or touch it (ingesting it or getting it on their skin is bad for them!) - I'm able to set the jar next to where they're sleeping. Neither like it at first, but they've made the connection that it unstuffs them. For Monkey, I'll leave it on the floor near her sleeping spot, so she can sniff as she wants. she will actually curl up around the jar and take a nap. Moe doesn't like it- but when he's got a cold, after I pull it out the first time, he remembers. And while he won't go near it if I leave it out for him, he will start jumping on my lap and want some sniffs of it. I've read that the baby formula isn't toxic for cats and people put a dab on their noses - but I'm not sure if it's safe and have never done it. Just the few minutes of fumes works well enough. I've also read that baby saline nose spray is ok and can help with inflammation and thinning out the mucus - again, haven't tried it on my cats (But I use saline spray for my own nose and it helps). Last idea, is having Todd in the bathroom while you take a shower. The warm humidity from the shower could feel good on his mucus membranes.
Todd is a beautiful cat. It's heartwarming to know that he is so well taken care of especially considering his health condition. I couldn't help but smile when you said it would be an interesting conversation with the vet asking what brought you in today....well, Todd said his tummy was mad😅😊🤗🐈🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🤗
Todd’s mixed media art is so avante garde! Thank you for sharing Todd’s medical condition and letting him live his best life! Our two cats both have neurological conditions that affect their balance and coordination, so they can relate to some of Todd’s symptoms!
Yeah, sometimes you just have to laugh. I told him if he was going to decorate his area like a Jackson Pollack painting, I should at least frame it for him. Lol.

I am SO pleased that you found Todd, and that Todd found you, because you have a special bond of love and respect that's clear when you spend time together. Thanks for making this informative video about Todd and FHV. I enjoy your videos very much 🐾❤️⭐
Love your kitties. Thank you for talking with us about Todd’s illness. He is a very bright boy. Have Pauli and Glamor contracted Todd’s condition? Bless their little souls.
Such a cute kitty! I'm glad he has a way to communicate with you, that's especially useful with cats with health issues and I'm sure this boy knows he's loved by his family :)
Bless you for taking such good care of Todd and his siblings. They enjoy much love and care. It will be fascinating for him to be able to tell you how he feels. I've always tried to figure my cats health. Wonderful parents.
I wish Todd a lot of health and that he recovers as much as possible. From his face you can see that he is a very smart and kind cat and being, and I have dealt with many cats. Regards Dad, Glamour, Paulie and Todd. ❤💛🤍
I'm sorry that Todd has fhv1, but you are working within his limitations and monitoring him so well that he has a wonderful, stimulating and full life. Not only do the buttons help by giving him mental exercise but now he can learn to tell you when (and where and how) he's feeling "ouch." That's amazing! Todd is in good hands and is obviously happy.
Thank you, him being able to tell me when he is not feeling well so we can get early treatment was the whole reason I wanted to do this. Everything else is just a wonderful bonus that he can tell me what he wants to do.
that has to be hard on Todd, he is such a sweet cat, love how he communicates, hope there are no flair up’s it has to be so difficult for him to just play!
Glad I'm not the only one that got buttons with the hope that my cat will be able to communicate about health issues! I saw Bunny the dog press "stranger paw ouch" for a thorn in her paw, and I was sold. My old guy got CKD and I tried to use it to teach him to ask for subcutaneous fluids when he's nauseous, since we were giving them as needed, and outer signs of dehydration come more slowly. Sadly he passed away before he learned to use them properly, best I got was him sitting in front of a "open door" button, looking up at me and meowing. He was asking me to open the balcony door, we'd keep it closed during winter, and he'd paw at the door for us to open it. After I started pressing the button before opening the door, he started just sitting in front of the button. Now I adopted some more kitties, and I'm looking at videos like these for inspiration. Your Todd is amazingly clever, and he's lucky to have you to make good use of that cleverness! In the average household, I'd bet he'd be the kinda cat to get into trouble by getting bored and figuring out how to open closets and get to the treat bag and other food.
I'm sorry for the loss of your guy. I'm sure you gave him his best life. Yes, I want Todd to be able to tell me about what hurts or doesn't feel good. Besides just being able to tell me his wants and needs that is my number one goal with the buttons. I think you are right about the intelligent cats getting bored. His behavior went from borderline bad to very well-behaved and I think it was because he was bored and wanted things and I wasn't smart enough to know what he wanted. The buttons have been wonderful for us both, he loves them.
Todd started out at another shelter where he and several other animals there were just about out of time. That shelter reached out to the League for Animal Welfare, a wonderful no-kill shelter, and asked if they had room for them. The league took them in. I went there with my wife planning to meet my mother and help her pick out a cat. I was not looking for a cat for myself since I already had two, Glamour and Paulie as well as a dog Blair all adopted from the League over the years. When we went into Todd's room he came running to me and demanded I pick him up. I did and held him a bit then put him down to look at the other cats. Every time I tried to pick up another cat Todd would run over and insist that I pick him up and hold him. I handed him to my wife to hold so I could look at the other cats in that room. After only a few minutes, Todd insisted my wife put him down and he came running back to me. About this time my friend who worked at the League came in to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. I told her about Todd and she said she didn't know a lot about him yet because he was so new there but she had not heard of him doing this with anyone else. I looked at my wife and said I think I've been adopted, what do you think and she agreed. The rest is history, Todd and I have been bonded ever since.

So sorry hear that. He dose appear to be happy. He is clearly expressive. I'm amazed that he uses the speak buttons. My cats prefer to turn their backs until I fiit out.
Love the framed snot artwork on the drywall! I have something similar on my wall, to remind me when my 17 year old son and I had a big argument whilst I was peeling hard boiled eggs in the kitchen. I threw one at him and it splatted on the wall and left a nice yellow stain. I kept that there for years. We laugh about it now.
Lol. I set Todd's up only long enough to get the picture then cleaned it. I get daily artwork from Todd, Lol. Sometimes you just have to laugh and see the humor in things.
Thank you for sharing about Todd's condition - I hope that he feels safe & comfortable quickly - I'm not a big fan of Firework noise either. I understand about congested sinuses - while I have the option of using a saline rinse to clear my nose - I can imaging that might not be enjoyable for you or Todd and if such a thing might be dangerous for such a tiny nose! I'm touched how much Todd watches out for/cares for the other kitties - he obviously has a good example for parents!❤
I have to consider whether the possible treatment outweighs any stress it puts on him. I'm sure he would fight anything going into his nose and it he is stressed about it and when it's going to happen again he may flare and get very sick.
I discovered one of my past cats had FHV when it began causing negative feedback loops with his heart problems - if I didn't make sure he got his lysine supplement, he'd develop upper respiratory symptoms, then within a day, the congestive heart failure would flare, which would stress him further so the URI would worsen, which caused CHF to get worsen. Luckily, the cardiologist told me to give him lysine every day in addition to his heart meds, and that kept things under control for a long time.
I fostered, and later adopted, 4 kittens who were born with the herpes virus, again from their mother. They have various degrees of this virus, despite getting l-lysine daily. One kitty who has it the worst sneezes almost daily and has developed a polyp in her nose that needs to be surgically removed. The other 2 have occasional flare ups. If Todd does end up with the treatment could you mention it, as I'd like to talk to my vet to see if Minnie could benefit. My best wishes for you and Todd, Glamour and Paulie.
Yes, we are still talking about it and if we do it I will be glad to mention it. Thank goodness for the l-lysine. It really helps keep Todd from flaring.
Thank you so much. The other two cats have 1) either already had it and cleared it and are now just carriers 2) They received the vaccines when we adopted them which is supposed to provide some protection from it or 3) caught it from him and showed no/mild symptoms and cleared it quickly and are now just carriers.
Aww, poor baby. Can't believe he was ever that *small*. But it's obvious even in that short clip how happy he is and how much he loves you. 😻 So his balance thing is like when someone gets a bad cold and the fluid in their ears gets all messed up?
Yes, I think the pressure or all the gunk in there is effecting his balance. Other than his FHV-1 there is nothing wrong with him, not that that isn't enough, but he has always been somewhat wobble and never been able to stand up on two legs. He will stand up for me to pick him up and I have to reach down and get him quickly before he falls over. He does not land on his feet :(
Hmm yeah my cats have experienced some of Todd's sniffy kitty problems. I have one of my vets who is holistic minded. She's really into giving cats lysine for cats, freeze dried meat treats, and food that is as grain free as possible. It usually helps. Another thing that helped my sneezy old cat Mystic (from way back when) was minimizing the carpet in my house and steam cleaning the rugs more often. My girl Luna looked like she had a fever coat. She was an almost all grey and black baby and now she's almost all brown with more black. Her brother Raggle gets the sniffy symptoms when he's stressed, so much that I had to stop fostering as he'd catch the most minute cootie even from a foster in only the bathroom, then stress and get very feverish stress sick. Horrible. Very sadly my boy Tibbles who looked like a short haired version of Todd passed away last month from very young advanced heart failure at 7:( Poor poor baby and he had a pampered life after finding him at 4 months old. You appear to be doing a fantastic job managing Todd's health and your other kitties. Maybe some of your followers' tips will also help. I've researched needs of cats for years and appreciate new info. Be happy kitties.
It's so hard when they have active FHV😢 My Gunner has it and is 2 years older than Todd. Gunner has a lot of breathing issues and eye issues. Hope Todd continues to do well.❤ What medicine is it that he gets? Gunner gets lysine sprinkled on his food twice a day but still lives in a state of almost constant flare up.
Poor Todd! But for good luck, he has found a loving and well caring family, which is also appreciative of his expressive art! 😃❤ I can understand Todds distress well! Around new years eve, many people in our country cannot wait until midnight, therefore we will hear fireworks going off all day. The two cats I grew up with, were very stressed by the fireworks, too. But we had a huge, old and very massive wardrobe in our hallroom, and our cats decided this was the best place to take shelter in. Therefore we always opened the doors for them as soon as they sat in front of it on December 31st. They spent all night in their bunker on cozy blankets/tablecloth, and always made it out safe and sound. Whatever helps in such a situation is to be done, I'd say!
I have two cats with FV1. I use Jackson Galaxy Easy Breather herbal drops with Enisyl-F to control their symptoms. I would be interested to know what treats you use?
I was getting a treat from the vet but they were very expensive, I found these which has the same active ingredient in the same amount on Chewy. I don't think they taste quite as good as they vet capsules but he still likes them. I get about 3 times the amount for the same price. www.chewy.com/vetriscience-vetri-lysine-plus/dp/42647
Unfortunately there is a large apartment complex right across the street and they all are setting off fireworks. I do the best I can for them but they still can hear it as it rattles our windows.
My Max has the herpes virus, too. He lost his right eye as a kitten because of it. Then, he required surgery on his left eye a few months ago due to an eye ulcer. The herpes goes after his eyes and sinuses. When he has a flare-up, he takes Famciclovir to try and save his left eye. He, too, is a booger artist. We just deal with it because we love him so much.
Aw, poor Todd. It's unfortunate that Lysine doesn't work in cats the way it does in humans. I have had Herpes Simplex since birth. I got it from my mother. After getting Chronic Epstein-Barre in 1986 I discovered Lysine. Not only did it help with the chronic mono but it reduced the instances of cold sore outbreaks to almost never. Todd is lucky to have a wonderful cat dad in you. Hopefully, he'll recover from the stress of the fireworks soon. I bet he learns the body part words quickly. He is such an intelligent sweetheart. 😻
What a wonderful petting session. Thanks for sharing that. It’s good to know in case I know of another cat with that issue. Antiviral suppressive doses (prophylactic) work well in humans who have chronic symptoms and the medicine doesn’t have side effects, have you considered that if it’s an option?
I don't know for sure if that's what we did when I adopted him but he was on a two month long treatment to try and get it under control and to clear. It didn't work. The kitties are about due for their check ups and I can ask.
His coat looks ten times more healthy now than it did when you first got him! If he caught this virus from his mom, then how does he not pass it along to the other cats? I'm guessing your vet won't be that confused when you say "Todd says his tummy hurts." More and more people are learning about buttons from TH-cam. And they are probably discussed a lot within veterinary circles, especially considering that Billi's mom Kendra is a vet.
The other two cats have 1) either already had it and cleared it and are now just carriers 2) They received the vaccines when we adopted them which is supposed to provide some protection from it or 3) caught it from him and showed no/mild symptoms and cleared it quickly and are now just carriers.
Do you think an infant nasal bulb (I forget what they are actually called, sorry) might help clear Todd's nose when he gets snotty? I used one on one of my cats when he had a bad snotty allergy, so I thought it might help your boy too
I have thought of that but I think the stress it would put on him would outweigh the benefit. Unfortunately, Todd is always snotty and he does a good job of sneezing it out. I do have one I can use if he flares and truly can't breathe.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks I agree, de-snotting was initially very stressful for Blue. Eventually, he learned it was helpful...but it caused some bad feelings/tenseness between us for a while.
Do Glamor and Paulie use the buttons? The way one of my cats looks at me, I just know she wants to tell me something so badly, so I wonder how she would do with the buttons.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks That's what I was thinking about my 2nd cat. I don't think she would give them the time of day, but I think my other cat would. Thanks for the response!! 🙂
Interesting - ty for making a point of hair color affected by stress/health concern- it may help others look for clues in their pet health. I suppose pets have more health issues than ppl realize since they tolerate things we do not see- strange that button user pets have health conditions- seems these buttons can add to & take away from their health- all things in moderation is a healthy limit to live by. Ty for this vid & I hope Todd improves.
Xtra note- fireworks decibels are Way Too Loud beyond acceptable limits for health of ppl, pets, wildlife.. They trigger ptsd & anxiety for veterans, victims of trauma, ppl with autistic/spectrum issues, babies & the elderly. They pour out toxic metals that give off the colors into the air, ground & water.. Consider signing petition to ban them & opt for healthier light displays.. I stayed in an inner closet with my cat, covering her ears with my hands, a fan on the other side of the door while nearby fireworks reverberated against the windows.. I saw a vid where a horse was so traumatized & physically damaged with the stress, he had to be put down after fireworks triggered him.. these toxic metal lightshows can cause heart attacks, panic attacks, palpitations, asthma attacks & breathing stress.. cancer..
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Thanks! Yeah, it makes her one eye get so goobered up she can't open it. She's such a beautiful baby, with the most amazing personality for a cat. It crushes my soul. She gets medicated eye drops, a monthly antibiotic shot and every 3 month inter-nasal vaccine for the FIV. And she STILL has these problems. It's probably because the shelter didn't treat her. 😿
Thank you for the detailed explanation of Todd's medical condition. I'm not sure but I think my cat has this....the vet wasn't very helpful. What are the immune boosting supplements you give Todd twice a day? Please and thank you!
They are a prescription Lysine treat I believe branded as Lysinex or something like that. I take them out of the box when I get them. They really seem to help him. He lives the prescription ones. You can buy Lysine treats from Chewy and other pet store companies, but Todd doesn't care for those as much and may or may not eat them. I'd rather spend a little more for something he will gladly take.
Yes, his is a prescription. Lysine treats that are in foil packets like you see medicine where you push them out. He loves them. You can also get non prescription Lysine treats through Chewy and oets stores. I have tried there giving him the amount to match his prescription, but he does not care for these.
@hoosierpioneer that is what Todd has, FHV-1. It will not clear and has settled on his sinuses so he is always stuffy and can have a hard time breathing especially of he flares.

Thank you, I want him to be able to help me help him. Cats are so stoic that by the time they show their sick they are usually really sick.
When I die I want to come back as one of your cats. Lol. Thank you.
I’m so glad he has a dad that cares so much. Todd is just lovely! I do hope this infection can clear a bit more through his immune system, maybe? ❤🐈⬛💐
I hope so too, I would love for him to get to a point where he is not always stuffy, but he is 6 now and there has never been a day where he is not stuffy and sneezing out gross stuff everywhere.
@@sabinekoch3448 It's certainly something I can ask the vet about. He has his check-up in two weeks.
Yes, he knows belly and he will pick up the rest fairly quickly I'm sure. Thank you for the kind words. 😊
Thank you, Todd is a lucky boy🥰🙋🏼♀️
You are welcome and Todd and I are lucky to have each other.
Thank you for the ideas, I appreciate it!
I’m so pleased that Todd has a loving understanding home! You’re a good person and so is your wife!
Lol.
I just adore that beautiful boy. Thank you for the insights into Todd's condition. I don't know much about Glamour, but I know she's beautiful.
Thank you. Glamour is a spicy little murder muffin with 15 pounds of cattitude stuffed into a 7 1/2 pund body. Lol.
Sending extra love to each of your kitties.
Aww. Todd has the best earth parent he could have ever, ever asked for in a million years. Thank you for adopting and loving such a smart and beautiful cat that would have otherwise not lived yet alone learned words if someone else adopted him, or there is also a possibility he never would have been adopted. You are an amazing human.

I am SO pleased that you found Todd, and that Todd found you, because you have a special bond of love and respect that's clear when you spend time together. Thanks for making this informative video about Todd and FHV. I enjoy your videos very much 🐾❤️⭐
Thank you and you're welcome!
Love your kitties. Thank you for talking with us about Todd’s illness. He is a very bright boy. Have Pauli and Glamor contracted Todd’s condition? Bless their little souls.
I don believe Glamour and Paulie have it, they received their vaccinations when they were little. IF they did get it it cleared right away.
What a good kitty daddy! He is lucky to have you.
Thank you!
Such a cute kitty! I'm glad he has a way to communicate with you, that's especially useful with cats with health issues and I'm sure this boy knows he's loved by his family :)
Thank you, and I make sure he knows how loved he is.
Bless you for taking such good care of Todd and his siblings. They enjoy much love and care. It will be fascinating for him to be able to tell you how he feels. I've always tried to figure my cats health. Wonderful parents.
Thank you 😊
I wish Todd a lot of health and that he recovers as much as possible.
From his face you can see that he is a very smart and kind cat and being, and I have dealt with many cats.

Thank you. He is a very sweet and intelligent little man.
Todd is a beautiful cat. Glamour and Paulie are too.
I totally enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much!
Everything else is just a wonderful bonus that he can tell me what he wants to do.
that has to be hard on Todd, he is such a sweet cat, love how he communicates, hope there are no
flair up’s it has to be so difficult for him to just play!
So sad, poor Todd 😿😿😿 Hopefully he can stay as healthy as possible. My cat I had before was loving the dishwasher too and wanted always go inside 😹
That is my plan, to keep them all as healthy as possible.
Poor baby. I’m pleased to hear how well you take care of him and the other kitty babies. Thank you for sharing and thank you loving them so much
Thank you for the kind words, and you are welcome. I'm glad you are here.
We would love to hear the story of how Todd convinced you that you were his human ❤
- and that photo of him at the end, where his feet are sticking out of the wire basket, that is so adorable!
The basket is another story in itself. Here is a link to it and all the pictures. facebook.com/SpiffyKitty/posts/pfbid02QaiDnkYK9xHzGSoF5J1rrgy7ESbydewj2FgZKSbtm5Zt6Q4Jy8mY816Yh8tNW9Wql

He is normal for Todd, it is something we live with and monitor closely.
Ahhh poor little guy ❤

Thank you.
He's perfect. They are all perfect
Aww, thank you!
This was so informative. Thank you very much for sharing your videos with us. I hope Todd continues to do well.❤
You are most welcome and thank you.
Thank you for explaining all that. And for sharing his drywall art. 😄
No worries!
New sub❤ love and happiness to you and your wonderful kitties
Thanks for subbing! Welcome and I'm glad you are here!
My lovely cat had this but not quite as severe however her personality changed and she hide most of the time.. how unfortunate
Aww, I'm sorry to hear that.
That's kind of where we are at with Todd, the treats keep things under control as long as he's not stressed.
You are a kind and caring cat dad. Todd looks so healthy. Can your other cat get the disease from Todd?
Big hugs and cuddles for all your cats.❤❤❤
Thank you so much. The other two cats have 1) either already had it and cleared it and are now just carriers 2) They received the vaccines when we adopted them which is supposed to provide some protection from it or 3) caught it from him and showed no/mild symptoms and cleared it quickly and are now just carriers.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Thank you for explaining this topic in such detail. Love ❤️ to all your cats and you for being you.
Aww, poor baby. Can't believe he was ever that *small*. But it's obvious even in that short clip how happy he is and how much he loves you. 😻
So his balance thing is like when someone gets a bad cold and the fluid in their ears gets all messed up?
Yes, I think the pressure or all the gunk in there is effecting his balance. Other than his FHV-1 there is nothing wrong with him, not that that isn't enough, but he has always been somewhat wobble and never been able to stand up on two legs. He will stand up for me to pick him up and I have to reach down and get him quickly before he falls over. He does not land on his feet :(
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for the kind words and I have many ideas to ask Todd's vet about when he goes in two weeks
It's so hard when they have active FHV😢 My Gunner has it and is 2 years older than Todd. Gunner has a lot of breathing issues and eye issues. Hope Todd continues to do well.❤
What medicine is it that he gets? Gunner gets lysine sprinkled on his food twice a day but still lives in a state of almost constant flare up.
Todd is taking lysine as well
Please try animal acupuncture for Todd! It really helps!
I will read up on it.
Poor Todd! But for good luck, he has found a loving and well caring family, which is also appreciative of his expressive art! 😃❤
I can understand Todds distress well!
I agree, whatever we can do to ease their stress and make them feel safer we should do.
Thank you
During fireworks I kept my animals in and turned the TV up or put on music a bit loud and they don’t seem to notice anything.
Unfortunately there is a large apartment complex right across the street and they all are setting off fireworks. I do the best I can for them but they still can hear it as it rattles our windows.
My Sardine has feline Herpies virus, too. He has trouble breathing and gets goopy eyes.
It's not a fun thing for them, we have to keep a close eye on their health.
It is a terrible thing when it never goes dormant. I sorry about your kitties eye. Yes, all you can do is make the best of the booger art, lol.
His treats are Lysine and that's what helps keep him from flaring.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks That's fantastic that it works for cats, too. It's been a miracle for me.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation!
@@messinalyle4030 No problem, great question!
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks So is what Todd has sort of like the feline equivalent of Long Covid, only permanent?
I was wondering what medication you give Todd. I give my cat L-Lysine and that seems to help a lot.
Yes, that is what I give him.
You mentioned immune boosting treats. What treats do you buy?
It is a prescription Lysine treat I get from the vet. Todd loves them. He doesn't care much for the ones you can get from Chewy or the pet stores.
Do Glamor and Paulie use the buttons? The way one of my cats looks at me, I just know she wants to tell me something so badly, so I wonder how she would do with the buttons.
Paulie and Glamour are not interested in using the buttons. I have offered and continued to offer it to them but they want nothing to do with it.
I saw a vid where a horse was so traumatized & physically damaged with the stress, he had to be put down after fireworks triggered him.. these toxic metal lightshows can cause heart attacks, panic attacks, palpitations, asthma attacks & breathing stress.. cancer..
Remember that some pets do grey with age too but it's always best to have your pet checked with a vet to confirm what the cause is.
Does acyclovir work for this virus? Could he have IV treatment or maintenance oral treatment?😮😊
I do not know. I don't recall that as a treatment or discussion
A have a kitty named Will'o, who has the same issue with herpes, and CHRONIC blowing of mega King Kong Olympic super boogers all over the house!
I am sorry Will'o has that, too. It is terrible for them.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Thank you so much! I'll look into this!
Are you willing to share the name of the immune booster you give Todd? I'd like to mention it to my vet for my FIV positive cat.
Yes, his is a prescription. Lysine treats that are in foil packets like you see medicine where you push them out. He loves them. You can also get non prescription Lysine treats through Chewy and oets stores. I have tried there giving him the amount to match his prescription, but he does not care for these.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks Thank you. I've heard of Lysine for herpes virus. I will ask my vet if it's appropriate for my cat with FIV.
@hoosierpioneer that is what Todd has, FHV-1. It will not clear and has settled on his sinuses so he is always stuffy and can have a hard time breathing especially of he flares.
@@gatroy3866 yes. Both FIV and FHV 1 are immunosuppressive.
