I rather bought and play a DMZ required base COD game (like MWZ) to play, at least i feel safer to play when hacker/cheater cant just keep making new accounts and keep using those hacks ingame. - They should keep the Hero-like ability like DMZ's one-use field upgrades and expensive kill streaks . In DMZ some field upgrade actually feel like hero-ability, like portable UAV, revive pistol, camera or oxigen canister..... But it feel more real and grounded than teleporting like this game tho. - Too small map, even at size of Ashika Island its too much for full DMZ experience, just look how Ashika become PvP heaven, player need to sweaty and take out entire lobby before they can do anything in peace. It need at least Vondel's size to make PvPvE actually works. - Exfil like that deffinetly a problem, make Exfil much less thrill. - being not too worry about ammo like DMZ also a plus (you have default max ammo for each weapon classes when you picked them for first time), this game and everyother Extraction shooter have too complicated ammo system. and slowdown gameplay alot bcs of it as well.

DMZ meets Lost Light; Mandel Bricks are basically HeLa Crystals used for researching items to unlock for the store to resupply, be it for weapon attachments or ammo types.
Maybe it's technically difficult to achieve (?), but I really wish other extraction shooters would just copy DMZ's extraction mechanic. Actually having to exfil on a chopper makes for a much more immersive game experience. It's one of the best things about DMZ
@@jmgonzales7701 No problem with walking simulators as long as there stuff to do and find on the way.. The mobility in Al Maz was great. You have 2 trains and tons of vehicles to quickly travel around the map.
Nothing will be like DMZ. It's too user friendly and a bit slower paced. BUT, this does seem like a great mix between DMZ and other in depth extraction shooters. The interaction with other people, and continued play-abilty over a long period of time, mixed with the heart racing moments of trying to fight off players at exfil, being able to be revived after full killed, and just over all mechanics is what makes DMZ so great. It gave us people that don't "Like" the super fast pace and repetitive gameplay of MP and BR, an amazing mode to call home for us more casual players. I think personally, it's going to be difficult for the die hard DMZ players to accept anything other than an Activision partner creating 2.0 . Again, BUT, I do look forward to it and can't wait to see you and the boys play it. There's no better representation of the community to give us the honest reaction of how it is.
We need a cross between DMZ and BF3. Imagine a 50 v 50 DMZ with attack choppers, jets, tanks, and no respawns (only squad revive), and you win by exfiling the weapon case

But I play tarkov almost since the game came out, and I've played every other extraction shooter for a good amount of time, and in general a simple extraction is better. Like Gray zone, the heli system in that game is really cool, but in execution it's actually complete trash. Literally just pushing a button, loading, and spawning there at your destination would be 10 times better. All I'm saying is, is that simple is better sometimes in these games.

I get on every few days and go to all locations, midnight, tiger Bay, hunters, there's just nobody ever there. And since I've did so many quests and stuff I don't feel like questing anymore, I just want to PVP, and there's never anybody to pvp with.
Personally i just really hope it maintains the warzone style ttk from dmz. A giant turn off to most extract shooters for me is the way that "realistic" gunplay means you die instantly when shot from someone unknown. Dmz lets you react, reposition, and fight back. No dying from a sniping rat's stray bullet.

What I'm interested in is the campaign based in Somalia. Always loved the Movie Black Hawk Down, so getting to play through it looks cool. I don't know if it will be as hard-core tactical as the OG games, and I'm guessing that part of the game you have to pay for.
People always going on about "How will inventory management work in controller" man, there's loads of games on console that have inventory management, they just aren't extraction shooters but it's not hard. Look at Ark for example
DMZ was missing the complex gun and attachment systems. I hope you can find attachments on the map and its not all stuff you have to buy! and I agree, get rid of the abilitys
Just make a DMZ Clone, add bit of gunsmithing options (something that make u value what u extract). to modify contraband attachments u need to extract the parts and use ingame currency for it etc.

You all played Warzone with dead silence for 2-3 years but lose your marbles over abilities which are just the same as field upgrades. I don’t think they have to remove them completely, just tone down some like the one in the video (for example a limited-time slide speed increase, instead of a „teleport”)
I am not worried about free to play stuff anymore, since games priced over 60 dollars also lock stuff behind a paywall now!! EA, Ubisift, Activision are some of the best examples.
despite looking like tarkov in the slow walking scenes, gameplay will be very fast and more similar to a mix of cod+apex. A fast paced looter extraction hasnt really been done yet so there is space in the market for it

Honestly someone should just make a fleshed out version of The Division’s Survival mode, it was unreal with the survival/extraction/pvp elements. Maybe someone can pick up the barebones since Heartland is cancelled.

I have my eyes set on Arena Breakout and the only reason is I doubt my pc will handle any UE5 game. I've tried Incursion red river and I'm not even gonna attempt Gray Zone however Arena breakout was clever to with UE4. I am just cautious its too hardcore. I really still enjoy DMZ. My only issue with DMZ is constant crashes. Even my WZ3 games don't crash as much as DMZ. I believe this Delta force also has the Black Hawk down campaign mode? Now that actually looks sick

Imo the extraction mode doesn't really matter that much because we have tons of battlefield players out there just being desperate for a game that is like battlefield. I feel like they should focus more on the combined arms battlefield like mode.

I don't like to be that guy that straight up simps for one game but one thing that everyone has to understand about Delta force hawk ops is that the game mainly focuses on having a positive community wherever it's your first time playing or you are an experienced player you have a spot that can be read in some interviews with the devs or even announcements but the thing that makes me surprised the most is that Delta force hawk ops aims higher than a triple A game that is true based on the evidence on some community posts or interviews

"This game is a BF and COD style FPS"..... The first Delta Force game released in 1998. The first BF in 2002. The first COD in 2003. BF and COD are Delta Force style games.
While the launch date is true, that's not what he means, he means it's like the current bf and cod style fps, which is true. Gotta separate inspiration for this game from who came first as a franchise mate.

This doesnt look casual. Anyone whos played the old Delta Force games would know its not a casual series. The looting is on par with EFT, GZW and AB. I like that they made certain things more accessable. And The game looks gorgeous, Hopefully we get a release date soon
I like the more in depth inventory and having to buy your gadgets/attachment. Too many games are too dumbed down and basic and I think what I’ve seen at least is a nice balance between tarkov and COD. But it is still way too early to know for sure.

I finally get why I like DMZ more than Tarkov, Arena Breakout, Gray Zone and other "realistic" extraction shooter. Those games are good, don't get me wrong, but I guess the playstyle just don't suit me. DMZ and Delta Force is alike in which they are not solely an extraction shooter game, but a "mode" in a game. If I feel bored of Warzone and MP because that's all what my friends played, I can just hop on DMZ an get a whole other experience with similar gameplay and mechanics without having to boot another game and vise versa, at least until they decided to separate DMZ from MW3. And I like how these two are more arcade like and light, rather than "realistic" gameplay. Maybe because I just don't have the time to get gud and gathered all good equipments just to get one shot'd to the head with a sniper camping the extraction point. I just want to hop in and have fun, just like a certain santa-claus look alike company owner said that realism does not equal fun. Sorry for the long essay btw
100% will be playing it when it launches. Activision under Microsoft will be likely if they ever get another game developed after the new Black Ops. Seems like that house of cards is crumbling. Entire Dev studios let go, others quitting, talent abandoning ship left, right, and center. If they think the COD franchise is "too big to fail", they like many overly confident entities before them, will learn a hard lesson.
Does it compare, well as to that we just have to wait and see the F2P aspect Does raise some concerns with me as well. Same with the abilities let's just hope they aren't to OP. Worth checking out when it launches for sure.
How can they miss out the most important element of a exstraction shooter ? getting into the bird in DMZ is one of the most exciting element of the game mode and Delta Force not having that element makes it feel less exciting but it may be fun to play but not as fun as DMZ
Why didn't you look at the newer footage that is out there that has been leaked. There is a huge difference between there newest build and that leaked footage from 6 months ago. The game is far from slow pace, or could it be called a tactical shooter. They seem to be taking the best mechanics of all the top shooters out there and I am perfectly fine with that. It is looking real good! Old school Delta Force player here. I still remember the day going to Best Buy and seeing the first game on the shelf and was loving it. First game I played with tracer rounds. Going from Duke Nukem to that was night and day. I am glad they are taking a lot mechanics from other games because Delta Force did most of the mechanics first that those games use, especially from Combined Operations. (I know it's not Novalogic...but still.
With the way extraction shooters are blowing up I’m SHOCKED no one is trying to get on consoles because whoever makes the first DECENT extraction shooter on consoles is going to just be raking in the money man. Because there is no competition, well except for DMZ which hilariously greedy ass Activision decided to cut off when they had a damn gold mine. Bet Activision gonna feel pretty damn stupid when this game or whichever extraction shooter just absolutely takes consoles by storm.

the abilities are just overwatch abilities. haha. Hanzo, Ana, and the speed one, chose any you like. that's just silly.
Abilities are pretty much the same as killstreaks in DMZ imo. Maybe the movement one is a bit much but I'm not too concerned with them.
I have not yet played a free to play game that I stuck with more then a few rounds. I am a huge fan of DMZ and BF2042 so I hope this is decent.

The first Delta Force game released in 1998. The first BF in 2002. The first COD in 2003.
BF and COD are Delta Force style games.
While the launch date is true, that's not what he means, he means it's like the current bf and cod style fps, which is true.
Gotta separate inspiration for this game from who came first as a franchise mate.
When is this out
COD did a number on a lot of people mindset… like every game shouldn’t be compared to that franchise. Anyway, it’s good to see something new coming out other than the same old stuff. I just hope these devs don’t compete or compare to anything COD for goodness sake.
Hardcore (GREAT TTK) DMZ
This doesnt look casual. Anyone whos played the old Delta Force games would know its not a casual series.
The looting is on par with EFT, GZW and AB. I like that they made certain things more accessable. And The game looks gorgeous,

I like the more in depth inventory and having to buy your gadgets/attachment. Too many games are too dumbed down and basic and I think what I’ve seen at least is a nice balance between tarkov and COD. But it is still way too early to know for sure.

I finally get why I like DMZ more than Tarkov, Arena Breakout, Gray Zone and other "realistic" extraction shooter. Those games are good, don't get me wrong, but I guess the playstyle just don't suit me. DMZ and Delta Force is alike in which they are not solely an extraction shooter game, but a "mode" in a game. If I feel bored of Warzone and MP because that's all what my friends played, I can just hop on DMZ an get a whole other experience with similar gameplay and mechanics without having to boot another game and vise versa, at least until they decided to separate DMZ from MW3. And I like how these two are more arcade like and light, rather than "realistic" gameplay. Maybe because I just don't have the time to get gud and gathered all good equipments just to get one shot'd to the head with a sniper camping the extraction point. I just want to hop in and have fun, just like a certain santa-claus look alike company owner said that realism does not equal fun.

Activision under Microsoft will be likely if they ever get another game developed after the new Black Ops. Seems like that house of cards is crumbling. Entire Dev studios let go, others quitting, talent abandoning ship left, right, and center. If they think the COD franchise is "too big to fail", they like many overly confident entities before them, will learn a hard lesson.
Does it compare, well as to that we just have to wait and see the F2P aspect Does raise some concerns with me as well. Same with the abilities let's just hope they aren't to OP. Worth checking out when it launches for sure.

How can they miss out the most important element of a exstraction shooter ? getting into the bird in DMZ is one of the most exciting element of the game mode and Delta Force not having that element makes it feel less exciting but it may be fun to play but not as fun as DMZ
Not sure why you don't like the extract mechanic. DMZ helis are a massive waste of time once the novelty wears off.

I was so hyped about this game, but all the abilities are killing it for me. I don't want to play a crossover of DMZ and Apex. 😵💫
For me, it is a big deal that this is coming to console. We don't get any extraction shooters, that's why dmz was so big

Why didn't you look at the newer footage that is out there that has been leaked. There is a huge difference between there newest build and that leaked footage from 6 months ago. The game is far from slow pace, or could it be called a tactical shooter. They seem to be taking the best mechanics of all the top shooters out there and I am perfectly fine with that. It is looking real good! Old school Delta Force player here. I still remember the day going to Best Buy and seeing the first game on the shelf and was loving it. First game I played with tracer rounds. Going from Duke Nukem to that was night and day. I am glad they are taking a lot mechanics from other games because Delta Force did most of the mechanics first that those games use, especially from Combined Operations. (I know it's not Novalogic...but still.

With the way extraction shooters are blowing up I’m SHOCKED no one is trying to get on consoles because whoever makes the first DECENT extraction shooter on consoles is going to just be raking in the money man. Because there is no competition, well except for DMZ which hilariously greedy ass Activision decided to cut off when they had a damn gold mine. Bet Activision gonna feel pretty damn stupid when this game or whichever extraction shooter just absolutely takes consoles by storm.
