You sharing that testimony was the start of me addressing my addiction to pornography and issues with hypersexuality as a teenager. I uncovered suppressed memories of abuse from my childhood. All of this was the start of unlearning certain behaviours and getting closer to God. I say all this to say thank you for listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to post your testimony. Now I have one as well.
We overcame the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
Keep doing what you're doing. It's impacting and inspiring so many of us to be our best selves ❤️❤️

I did not realize you took the video down. During the pandemic I remember watching your video and it inspired me to also share my pornagraphy addiction testimony on TH-cam as well on a separate channel that I had started. I actually had it in my heart for years to make a video to show people in my life and that follow me that I'm not a perfect Christian.
I experienced a lot of what you did as well. I never went into actually talking to the men, but I can imagine how horrid it must have been to recieve those inappropriate questions and unwanted photos.
I'm an educator and was also told by an uncle of mine that I was going to ruin my reputation, but so far it has been almost 3 years and no reputation was ruined. The video definitely came to a shock for everyone especially my closest family and friends. I had only confessed my past to my mother, sister in Christ and husband years before and kept it silent. But I felt like making a video would show other young women that their not alone and it's not just an issue that men go through.

I’m REALLY SORRY that you experienced some vile messages in relation to that video. I’m glad you had people surrounding you offline with love and support. This is just a reminder that unfortunately there are some seriously sick people out in the real world and it’s important to have a healthy support system.
In my opinion any ‘cooperate’ worth working for will see the kind of genuine person of character you are if they ever come across the video. It would have been different if you were being destructive in some way.

You're commentary on marketing yourself resonates with me! I really appreciated the video about sexual sin because it was something I dealt with from 10 years old and have wanted to make a youtube account of my wlj but I'm scared of the future ramifications for working in a corporate environment post-graduation.
My only hope is that if I did, it means that any job I'd get be God-ordained

Ugh does anyone else get so frustrated when someone with an ivy league education and obvious level of intelligence honestly believes in absurd religions they've been indoctrinated into, and "the devil is testing you" type of things? It's a child's fairy tale ffs.
I get frustrated and annoyed by arrogant atheists who think they know better than people that believe in God. What happened to respect? I am not a Christian yet Courtney is one of my favourite TH-camrs and I think her faith and Godly perspective is what makes me appreciate her content even more. Just because you don’t believe in religion doesn’t mean you get to disrespect other peoples beliefs. Who are you to judge? You don’t get to determine what other people believe in . Believe in what you believe and let others do the same. Maybe you should really think about why other people believing in religion and God offends you so much. It sounds like a deep issue that you need to address and resolve and mind you’re own beliefs . Also beliefs don’t determine IQ levels scientifically. It may be a fairy tale to you but it’s important to others . As an adult, you are expected to respect other people’s beliefs and religions even if you don’t believe in the same thing.
