Thank you for the video. Can you test the GPU temps with disabling the two bottom fans? I just bought this case and I see many people saying that the Compact version makes GPU run hotter with bottom fans installed...So I want to know if i should buy them or not. Thanks!
thanx .. I too have a 5900x and a radeon 6800xt I need to put into a new case. I've the old Fractal G now and this Torrent looks like the right move forward... again thanx for the video. Do you think 2 3.5 inch hard drives could fit in the top or anywhere else?
Does the case support 3x 120mm in the bottom with the 2x 180mm fans still in? It looks like it should fit snougly with the front most 120mm fan being partly underneath the bottom 180mm fan. Thx in advance :)
@@SocialHardware but what you think is better 3x120 bottom or 2x140 mm on bottom like you, we see a lot of comparation with watercoolers but not with the different fans and sizes on this case it should be nice have some testing on that type to see really the best perfomance to this case.
How about the back panel ? Does that close completely? I was thinking of buying the black one first but it has tempered glass back panel so I am going with white for metal back panel. Do let me know if going with black version is worth considering
Hello . Might be a bit late , but could you tell me if only the black one has TG back panel , and all White models(rgb or not) have steel backpanel? Thank you.
@@zualacnirolf3165 I ordered the black one and it has a glass back panel, but all the white models have metal back panel, also I am loving this case, its completely quiet and also has great thermals, I am using an air cooler as it's best suited for this case and the back panel closes easily as well there no bulge with the amount of cables I have, my specs are:- 1) ryzen 7 5700x 2) rx6600xt 3) 32gb ram 4) 1tb ssd 5) gigabyte arous pro v2 6) deepcool ak620 (super quiet and great performance the max temp i reached with this was only 52 cel) 7) 750W gold rated corsair rm750e
very nice build, i really like torrent series, if nvidia didnt go so huge with rtx4090, i feel the compact is a better buy, but because of the size, the normal is what i went with.
AIO is not exactly water-cooling, might want to differentiate between those in future videos, so those who don't know are not confused. Custom water cooling will be about 30C cooler then what you achieved with comparable fan noise. Build turned out well, I'm building one in this case too right now, but I'm not going to install fans at the bottom, don't see the need for them with these 180mm ones in the front.

Just built my first PC using this case. I'm loving it so far. Super quiet with great thermals.
Hey man thanks for sharing! I'm still loving mine as well :) Very noice!
@Tetsujinmustdie Using the fans that it came with. Would be a waste of money not to use em
I added a few extra fans but honestly is not really needed for most setups.
crazy db readings considering you've got the case side off!, looks like im ordering this case, dark rock pro 4 and a red devil all air cooling.
thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment, definitely an awesome case and very very quiet :)
Alpahacool dual 180mm radiator, reverse the 180mm fans to exhaust out the front. Other 3 as intake. Be a very tight fit but would rock.
That would actually be pretty sick!

Specs for torrent compact say you can fit a 3.5" hd up top. How difficult do you think it would be with all the PSU cables?

Yes. In backside you put 2 ssd 2.5" drive.
What mobo are you running, in need of a white mobo

Hey mustafa, yes 3x120mm in the bottom is supported! Check the fractal website for all the other specs and dimensions etc :)

4090 should fit in a compact though? Did you just want a larger gap?
You can fit 4090, but you have to go with slim front fans.
what software are you using to monitor temps in Gta?
Hey mate, was just using MSI Afterburner with RivaTuner
Sick case be quiet case was a bit how ya going
yeah a bit big for me but definitely quiet
