Hello. Around 54Nm maximum and somewhere around 35Nm and 25 BHP at 4000 rpm. Well I am a member on CafeHusky.com but I don't have a thread about this bike. I'm going to bench it again this year with a new ignition system and some porting.
My '87 Husky WR 430 6-speed 2-stroke was bored & stroked to a 500cc, ported & polished valves, jetted, carbon fiber reeds, & a torque spacer plate added between the carb & reed cage for good measure! Was putting down about 68hp @ the wheel, torque was nearly the same. Kept the stock expansion chamber (since the setup was already made for low-to mid/hi range rpm power) & only added an Answer silencer. Since it was my 2nd bike & I was 14 when I put it all together, it took me YEARS to get used to/control that monster bike! I also had to physically grow more to handle it too. I was upgrading from my 1st bike, a learner/beginner.. A WEEK '82 RM 80 I'd HAD SINCE i WAS 11

It's actually very lean compared to track jetting. It runs so much cooler on the street so the jetting is adjusted to it. Could go down 1 size on main but it isn't important to get 1 hp more
thanks a lot! I'm waiting for an HVA 87-88 dyno for a long time. You 've did it!!!! congrat's.
+vespatator
Thx. =)
Nice Bike
Thanks =)

Wow that’s nice 👍🏻
great set up......
Thx man =)
Must say again, like i was saying before, nice readings :)
Thanks.
Now it's time for some tuning.
I'm making my 87 430 a street supermoto as well. Any advice on max tire size? I plan on using 17" wheels. Bike look and sounds great!
150s in the rear.
160 give some issues with chain clearance.
@@Nikel87 thanks man. Really appreciate it. I'll post a video when I get around to finishing it.
Nikel87 how many hp does it have in the papers ?
What was the highest torque measurement? What kind of HP and torque at 4000 RPM? Is there a place you posted the full results?

Gott att få ett kvitto ibland. Mvh Tony "Toyman"
Absolut.
Nu kan man börja med små justeringar och se vad som händer =)
Mvh
Tja!
Subbade till dig nu med.

Just show dyno no need
switching gears alittle to early no?
Shifting? It's a dyno run. We run it until it stops revving in one specific gear. 8000 rpm.
how much oil do you mix in gasoline?
I have the small amount of 4%.
That's what the manual says so I stick to that.
@NoNoNoNii I have enough power.
Engine was designed for 4% so that's what I run.
Wind it up!!! 😕
87 cr 430 turned 73 up to tear wheel
If you say 73 hp on an 430 I must doubt it very much.
Nikel87 say what you must..
Brian Baker CR430 will not make 73 whp without serious modification.

Soyboy?
You killed this bike...with all that useless stuff
How do you mean?
The bike is much alive and in good condition.
