We started our Mexican food tour today going to a local spot to try a Oaxacan breakfast of memelas. Memelas are super tasty, simple, delicious, and flavourful, this was a great start to our Mexican street food tour. We continued our Oaxaca street food tour tasting the Torta Oaxaqueña, and venturing into the local market to try local nieves ice cream.
The street food in Oaxaca is some of the best street food in Mexico. There is so much popular Mexican food to try here, like chapulines, grasshoppers. Chapulines are a local delicacy that we couldn’t miss. One of the popular Oaxacan foods is also chocolate. Chocolate is very abundant here so we went to a chocolate factory to see how it’s made.
We finished off tasting the best Mexican street food in Oaxaca Mexico with a local pozole. Pozole is a Mexican soup, this one was made with hominy and pork, very flavourful and a must eat food in Mexico. We added a packed pork tostada to our meal to complete this ultimate street food experience!
We hope you enjoy exploring the best Mexican street food in Oaxaca Mexico, from Oaxacan chapulines and memelas to our chocolate factory tour! Stay tuned next week for more street food adventures.

    Hello hungry people!
What an experience you had in Oaxaca! Thanks for showing us the culture and the unique food, everything looked delicious! Those grasshoppers sure are interesting and look quite good if I'm going to be honest with you. I will have to try and find some to try in my neck of the woods. That chocolate looked incredible as well, straight from the source! Very cool to see that chocolate store operate.
Thanks and looking forward to next meal!

Loved the video guys! You're both brave for trying those grasshoppers!!! But from the looks of it, it seems like they were pretty good from what Chris said, maybe I'll have to try something adventurous like that some day. The chocolate factory was really cool, I learned a lot from that actually, so thanks! That sandwich though, the torta, looked sooo good, all the food did actually. Great food tour guys 🥳 Can't wait for next week already!

    Hello there! 😊
What high energy from Chris to kick off this vid. And what you two have been munching on reveals why so as the episode unfolds. 😊
There are so many food choices and ideas about Oaxacan food in this video. I am really interested about what's in the sorbet and chocolate. 200 and 4,000 years of experience with an ingredient really elevates food products and experiences.
Thanks for sharing another fun vid. See you two next meal.✨️🧡
