Oaxacan Mexican street food is some of the best food in Mexico. We started off our massive Oaxacan street food tour tasting some tamales mole at a local market. Next, we headed to a place that specializes in the most popular foods in Oaxaca, including traditional enmoladas. Here we tried the famous mole negro on pork enchiladas, enmoladas. We couldn’t believe the flavour of the mole and enmoladas!
Oaxaca also has some very unique street food that we had to try on our Mexican street food tour, like the vinegary piedrazo, and the savoury and tasty grasshopper filled chapulines tostada. Such interesting tastes and flavours in Oaxaca make for quite a delicious cuisine.
To finish up exploring the must try street food in Oaxaca, Mexico, we tasted one of the most iconic dishes of the city, tlayudas. Here we had a tlayudas BBQ feast, full of the local tasajo and so much tasty and flavourful tlayudas. This is Oaxacan Mexican street food at its finest.
We hope you enjoy exploring some of the must try street foods in Oaxaca, Mexico, with us. Especially the tlayudas bbq feast and enmoladas, super tasty Oaxacan Mexican street food. Stay tuned next week for more street food adventures!

So glad you enjoyed ! We hope that for you!! 😄
Wow, Mexican cuisine truly is so varied. Oaxacan food looks like plenty of mole, much less salsa, and still enormous quantities of cheese 🤤 loving the videos as always. Safe travels Steph and Chris!!
Your evaluation of Oaxacan cuisine is pretty spot on, Feng! We're loving the food so much. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊
It’s always very enjoyable, watching your videos. Thank you so much for the effort you put into them.🙏🙏❤️

Thanks for watching!
The piedrazo is really an interesting antojito. I have seen it before but never tried it.
It's very unique that's for sure, definitely worth trying it if you get the chance 😉 thanks for watching and commenting!
The funniest part was when he gave the thumbs up and complimented the guy and he was sitting right next to him 😂 It reminds me of The Food Ranger
🤣🤣 yeah we figured you guys would enjoy that😉 he was such a welcoming host! Super friendly and great food 😋
That last dish looked insane! So big and full of so many ingredients. I definitely want to try that when i visit Mexico! And Steph, you handled grasshoppers like a champ! Good job, there were so many to eat! I don't know if i would like them but I'll give them a try for sure! Nice video again!
There was definitely a lot of grasshopper in this video, but you'd be surprised how tasty they are, for sure worth a try. Thanks a lot for watching and commenting !
Really enjoyed watching the video, guys! Its hard to equate the pork with the chocolate mole sauce, they do not seem to go together! Your videos have really illustrated the versatility and variety of the Mexican food.
Not sure if I could do the grasshoppers 🙄????
I could certainly do the tasty, fruity drinks. Cheers🍻!
You would love those! The mole with pork is unique but a very good combo, it's savoury and spicy, so not sweet or anything like that, we think you'd enjoy it 😉 as for the grasshoppers, we'll convert you at some point😜 thanks for watching and always commenting 🧡
Hola! Cuando subes el video de los tacos de barbacoa que isieron en Guadalajara
They will be coming up in a few weeks😉
all looks yum. ye first to comment
Wahoo first comment🥳 thanks for watching!
Is Mexico safe for tourists? Been following all your vlogs. All your food vlogs made me hungry lol 😋
Thanks for watching and following along! Mexico is safe for tourists, in all the time we've spent here we've never felt unsafe at all. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. As with any travel destination, you've got to be aware of your surroundings, but no different than anywhere else we've travelled to before. We would recommend it as a travel destination for sure!
By the way Tlayuda is the technique to make the tortilla hard & long lasting for a day of work
Oh very cool!
What a unique name.
How is it pronounced?
It sounds almost regal.
Which name are you referring to?
Subtitulado spanish please
There are Spanish subtitles on all of our videos 😉
El monitor se mira rico
Thanks for watching!
Nice video BUT… allow me to correct you, THE CORRECT NAME FOR A SINGLE PIECE IS TAMAL NOT TAMALE & for more than 2 (plural) TAMALES yea pronounce the S. Please don’t kill my language! 😀😅😂👍 enjoy
A ver léelo, está escrito correctamente?😂
Good to know for the future!! Thanks for watching :)
