part of Judge DiSanto's problem is she talks too far away from the microphone. The further away she gets, The more the balance shifts from her voice to background/room echoes. And any place can buy inexpensive panels to kill the echoes, but tha's not really the court's primary concern. But she could learn better mike technique( I work in radio).

The only way you can withhold rent is if the unit is uninhabitable. I have seen a lot of these court cases where the tenant does not pay rent because a window wasn't fixed. No one told her she had to keep that AC on all the time. Who does she think she is fooling? Who wants to bet she doesn't have the money to put into escrow? That's probably why she didn't take it to the court.
Those "tenants" have figured out how to break things and then arrange so that they "can't be available to let anyone in to fix it" 🙄 They know how to drag all this out, and too many judges let them get away with it 😡

yes. i do plan on getting that hearing. the only way i wouldnt be able too is if something abnormal happened like a substitute judge or they didnt turn on their zoom.. but i do have the hearng on my calender and ill will be there to record.

I don’t think the judges voice would be so harsh if she didn’t have to yell all day long in her courtroom. She needs a better mic set up.
Her voice is from a vocal cord malformation from childhood.

It costing her so much more because she can't shut off the AC doesn't make sense. The AC doesn't continuously run, unless you have the thermostat set at a VERY low setting. Sounds like the AC was doing its work for the setting she had it on; she just likes a very cold house and deserves the $500 bill.
Haha I’m not sure where you live, but I definitely have months where my AC is on all the time because of how hot it is outside. (Even at 68-70° inside. I prefer it colder but I try to save money.)

People are delusional, you still have to pay rent regardless of the situation of your home. If there’s problem, get everything in writing, keep detailed records and notes. People really need to get familiar with landlord tenant laws. Escrow has to be paid or save the rent you’re not paying when you go in front of a judge.

i talked to a landlord once and their tenant had stopped paying rent, she said that the cabinets in the kitchen fell on her children, apparently the tenant had to take their child to the hospital so the landlord called EVERY hospital and no patient ever showed up, the tenants only request? they shouldn't pay rent. these people are lazy and greedy

I’d watch more of Judge DiSanto but she always sounds like she’s talking in a locker room with cement walls. I can’t stand that echoing. I don’t understand why there isn’t a mic by her - I don’t recall any of the other Zoom judges having a problem with sounding like they’re talking in a tunnel.

Live in an apartment owned by the same management company she not lying about the air 😂. Their maintenance team was six months behind they literally are catching up now.
A furnace is not part of an a/c system.
@scottdiamond74 the way these apartments are set up, they can affect each other.

@scottdiamond74 Yeah, they are both located on the porch. She may have mis spoke or was told wrong. The maintenance team was horrible for these properties for a while.

She's really rude a lot of times to. I understand she deals with a lot of idiots but even her attitude towards ms luckoff was wrong and the way she stamps paperwork during hearings is irritating.
I liked her at first because she came across as tough, but the more I watch her, she both oversteps and understeps quite often
He has to stop with the victim addict behavior. He's stressed so he uses. Tough. You're stressed because you use and get arrested and have all of these repercussions. I've been there. I'm not being mean. But I wasn't coddled. I had no family. It was hard and tough. It was stop the bull and lies and surrender and do the work or lose your child forever and then most likely your life. And I was told it would be hard and suck but that's life. So he needs to stop the pity party and exscuses. He also needs to stop the focus on work even though it's hard, I know, I work and still am beneath poverty level. But recovery first. He can't maintain a job if he's high and gets revoked. He's simply not doing the work or involved in recovery. Just the way he talks and views it all shows me that.
I don’t care for DiSanto. She puts too much emphasis on the judging part of her job, (I’m aware of her title). It’s like more opinion than facts sometimes.

Why waste more time setting it over again? If you dont know the exact words she said about her AC the last coirt date, PULL THE F+÷$ING VIDEO OR TRANSCRIPT! its no wonder our court system is so god awful. It refuses to update to the current world. Dont set it out to discuss again, weeks later. Pull the video right then and move on.
