I was raised by a man, and I’m a girl, I’m 21 now, and I am perfectly great in life right now. I don’t believe it has to be man or woman, I just think it needs to be a parent that cares enough to make the best of you. My dad took me and my little sister to all hour doctor appointments, taught us how to do our beds, fold our clothes, have fun, play shooter video games (I was the Dom to My dads Marcus Fenix in gears of war), all summer long he sat me down and taught me to be ahead of everyone in my class, even if he didn’t know how to do the math problem he’d put me on khan academy and learn with me.
It’s superficial and out dated to believe only woman can raise children or be the one to teach. Man is just as good of a teacher, you just have to give a fuck about your kid.

I don't think you're right, a kid would benefit from having the role models of what is feminine or masculine, but not necessarily a father and a mother. To teach them respect is more important, because it's the base of good human relationships.
