Since I was a kid that's been my dream to become happy not because I wasn't happy but because I want to live a simple and meaningful life. But life thought me so hard that I put a thick wall in my heart so I won't get hurt anymore. I learned to hide my true feelings and what's really inside my heart. I learned to be a cold hearted person and act like I don't care. Honestly I really want to go back to who I am but I'm afraid that I would get hurt again. 😭 💔

omg this is so spot on. my friends and family always pressure me to be what i dont want. im in my 30s half asses doing what i wabt and half assed doing what they expect of me to please them and shut them up. Money and prestige doesnt drive me. Touching people's lives and having new experiences with the world do.

I agree Jay, Happiness does not come from materialistic goods or monetary wealth. Happiness comes from spiritual wealth. Spiritual wealth comes from giving, helping and loving others. I remember a rich person once saying, he had millions of dollars, but he never had happiness.

He almost has it but not quite. Happiness doesn’t come from materialistic things it comes from experiences but the experiences that he is talking about still don’t get you true joy and happiness. You can enjoy all the experiences you would be able to enjoy in a lifetime but in the end it won’t get you true happiness. People all around the world are trying to find happiness in literally every possible thing they can think of. But the only thing that can give you true happiness is experiencing God and his eternal grace and love. Nothing else absolutely nothing else in the world compares to the happiness and love and joy you experience when having a true relationship with god. And I don’t mean going to church every Sunday and sitting there bored but going home and forgetting everything. But praying to God everyday and reading his word to build a relationship with God where you can talk to him and feel and peace and happy with him. This is the only way to true happiness and I hope all of you who read this can find it one day. God bless you all!! 😇😇🙏
