I think the government is exploiting the guards and horses as a tourist attraction. A lot of folks probably don't know these are soldiers. More direction should be given to tourists. Royalty and the historical pomp and ceremony draw tourists and tourist dollars but the Brits seem to resent them.

Their barracks are on the other side of Buckingham Palace, with a small amount at Horse Guards. There's stalls for the horses at Horse Guards too. Most are over at Wellington Park close to the Palace. I could be wrong on some of that. I'm learning. When the royal family goes to places like Westminster Abbey or the King goes to parliament, they go through the tunnels there at Horse Guards. You'd have to ask someone from there to do a better job than me. Also, the Horse Guards won a battle in an important battle, that place is historical.

Stay away from the horses with your umbrellas. A tip like this can quickly hit the horse's eye, especially if you're still messing around with your cell phone. In addition, the horses can get frightened and rush off and the horseguard then has to take it. So please be considerate of the horse and rider
This guard is demanding respect, and rightfully so!! The tourists are only getting worse when it comes to listening to anyone! The MOD officers, troopers, police officers, etc... are routinely being blatantly disrespected and ignored! Did you notice how things calmed down almost immediately when the guard yelled at them? If you look closer you'll notice there are more than two trouble makers. Tall guy in green hoodie, tall guy in the white hoodie, short guy with the brown backpack, another who comes over with black hat and black jacket with white pants, don't forget black jacket wearing white hoodie up. That's 5, that's not a coincidence that's a problem. Excellent observation from guard and videographer. King Charles could at least foot the bill for security cameras.
