- Today we're taking a look at Daniel Ricciardo's ride for the Monaco GP of 2021, being the Mclaren MCL35M Mercedes F1 in the one-off retro Gulf livery. Man, what a great succes this livery was. This diecast modelcar is produced by Spark and is in the scale of 1/18. I think this car for certain was the highlight of the whole race weekend during the Monaco GP of 2021!

I wish I could get a press model like that. I have no patience for applying decals!🤣 I may keep my eye on ebay and see if a model like yours pops up for sale.
BTW, since I last checked out your channel, I have pre-ordered two more 1/18 scale 2021 Verstappen Red Bulls from the Verstappen Shop. His Abu Dhabi winner with driver figure and his 2021 USGP winner with Acura branding. I own a 2021 Acura TLX A-Spec so I definitely had to have that one! Both of those are Minichamps that come in special Verstappen Shop packaging.

Did you get decals included in box like Spark included them with 1:43 model?
My decals were pre-applied because I've got a press kit for review, the standard costumer version (1/43 and 1/18) will have decals you have to apply yourself. These decals should be located underneath the base of the model
@@JurianHamstra How come the Vuse decals come separately and you have to apply them yourself? Seems weird that all the other sponsors come pre-applied but these ones you have to do yourself
@@MrJiminibobster hi there, Vuse decals are tobacco or vaping related. They can't sell products with those sponsors on the product, so this is a legal and good way to have these historical accurate decals, because they're not sold ON the model but as an extra option seperately from the model. Very smart move legally
I have the same car but for the decals, I just have to put them in the water and from the water onto the base and it will slide of. But I don’t need special Products so it will stick to the model? Just only some water right? Btw Great video!👍🏻👍🏻
Water will work fine, but ideally you should get "Microsol" and "Microset" so the decals forms and sets in all the little crevices. But for those decals included in this model water should be good enough. Just out of curiosity, where did you purchased this model?

Why the other McLaren F1 toys there are no Velo or VUse sponsors on it
i received this dr3 model too and i noticed that the racesuit is lando's since i can see the british flag not the australian one😂 Is yours like this too?
Nah, I just checked, mine does have a Ricciardo overall with the Australian flag. Does yours even have racenumber "3" on there as well?
@@JurianHamstra No it's LN_04 instead of DR_03 on the racesuit😂 Luckily the race helmet is not Lando's haha

I have such a dylema this one or Redbull Tr Gp, both are georgous, but cant decide for now. Pls sb help
Man tough choice, however, personally I would buy the Max Verstappen Turkish GP one because in my opinion Verstappen is a more memorable driver then a Ricciardo or Norris. And stock level wise, the white Red Bull sells way quicker than the McLaren Gulf liveries
I will probably go for that, though its never about the Drive Success, mu first choice is DR from Monza Love that guy, beautiful race. Tried to Find Rb Tr Sergio Perez cs His Fight with Hamilton was nuts, will w8 till Monday but probably will choose this Rb.
