having 60 hours in BOTW and almost 80 in TOTK i would have to say that i prefer the latter so far, as amazing and deep as the first game was the scope for creativity and fun is unrivaled, though i have to say a decent amount of my enjoyment comes from building off of interactions that continue through both games eg master kohga, paya, and the stables
Frankly, it might be because BOTW was the first Switch game/Zelda game I’ve played so I’m definitely biased there. But I also have a tendency to prefer the simpler original vs the sequel. Portal being a good example.
Ys 8 look disgusting on Switch, holy cow. It looks really nice on PC. Not the highest fidelity models and textures, but at least it doesn't look so noisy and grainy like the Switch footage here does. Anyways, easily one of the best modern JRPGs, and my personal favorite entry in the series. Ys Origin is close, though, and also on Switch! It looks much better, too, since it's not a full 3D game.
NGL, when I played Ys 8 back then, there were several moments(graphically) it threw me off. But man… that gameplay, music, and story. The ability to play portably is great. I think it really benefits Ys series. Every time a new Ys comes out, I constantly have this internal dilemma in which platform to play on, but I always end up playing on switch due to this.
mario kart 8 deluxe is also good, you may enjoy that alot!
Mario Kart wasn’t on the list because it’s a de facto game. It’s not bundled and yet, it feels like a default software. It’s in a league of its own.

I see Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. I press like.

This is a very bad list purely for this fact, so many games that are very poor on switch. Skyrim fir example is abysmal on switch
@@ashleycox8480 I kind of agree, but also like if you _only_ have a Switch, Skyrim for Switch is better than no Skyrim at all.
