Nice Video, I just got a 2000 vs1400 and it came to me with NO mufflers, I ordered the cobra slash slipons, I keep hearing this bike is tough to tune without the stock pipes, have you had any issues with these pipes and did you have to retune anything and how do they perform? TY

Great looking bike! Can you tell me where you purchased those LED bullet turn signals. I like the small profile of them.

    Very! nice job.
Did you change any relays to other models that would maybe do the same job but are physically smaller, so easier to hide?
And when you say that you relocated them in the rear air box, you mean inside the air box? Like, they restrict the air intake?
I'm curious to know because I plan to work on the electric part of the motorcycle during the winter and want to have as much information as possible before I start.
Thanks in advance for any input!

I’m looking for help, I have an 87 VS1400 and I want to lower the back fender because it sits up WAY too high. You seem to have yours sitting real nice and close to the tire

Thanks. I used a 10.5" shock to lower the rear. It does make for a very stiff ride. If you still want a comfortable ride ai would use a 11.5" shocks.

how did you get the molded parts out of the rear fender that are under the rear seat?

I cut them off with an angle grinder. Then filled the holes with 3m fiberglass hair body fill then 3m bondo.

Bobbert's Bikes And i assume there is no tyre rubbing with the fender !? Cause i got mine just a bit lower than yours and i made it solid, but it came too hard on the road ( nice to watch tough) . I want to make a shock but try to stay low as possible obviously without having the tyre rubbing. P.s. I can send pics if you give an email address

It is very close. I had them set as hard as they can go. It you are wanting a half decent ride I would go with a 11"
