I just bought a 2000 intruder 800. I can't believe how phuk'd up Suzuki's wiring and air filter placement are ??? Just sold my vintage Honda, which I could remove the seat and tank in approximately 5 seconds. Took me an hour to finally figure out wtf was going on with the 800. Looked online at how to remove the seat and tank etc,... well even with the slightly different processes shown online,... NONE of them worked for this thing. I did finally work it out in the end, ...but it was not as every other video showed. Did Suzuki get some Russian rabbit farmer to design the frame, and then try to cram five bikes worth of electrics in there ??????
@@novamotorcyclesnever seen one with a 7" headlight, but it does not look bad at all! Actually, it fits quite well! If I were the owner, I'd definitely move the battery up to the air filter's place. It's a pain in the ars to remove the battery on the side of the road...🙂
@@TarDaniel It is a pain. But we went through a lot of trouble to remove the side covers and open up the center of the bike... it'd be a shame to block it with a battery! Custom bikes are rarely convenient anyway, so it's really no loss over stock.
Those wide bars and shorter forks give it such a great stance! Never thought I’d like the looks of an Intruder, but you converted me!
Best thing that ever happened to an Intruder...
Thanks!
Laugh out loud.
Very pretty! Great work!
That’s such a beautiful engine….!
Looks great i have a 93 that i went crazy on into a bobber
I love my 96 1400 as is but this is a nice build
Thanks!
Great build! Very clean. What kind of shocks are those if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks! Those shocks are Progressives.
I love my intruder there not ugly to start with but mine is custom painted

LOL! They are pretty terrible to work on...
Nice build! What size is the headlight, if I may ask?!
Thanks! It's a 7" light

I have a 2001 Intruder 1400.
How / Where if possible do I get LED’s and Upgrade the lighting? Such as:
Head lamp, fog/flood lights etc,…?
We used universal aftermarket parts for this build, from various suppliers. There's a lot of good stuff out there.
Nicest ive seen.
Thanks!
I love it!
Nice bike ! But I’ll take my 91 intruder I like to sit back and stretch out. not so straight up and I don’t like to sit forward at all!
Looks like shit, it has more style stock if anything you took the little bit of value it had and diminished it
@@mrcali818 We appreciate all opinions, even when they're terrible! Thanks for watching!
