I got an 08 civic si sedan and I want to modify it but I dont know anything about cars at all or how to install a single thing but this video made it seem pretty simple to install so I'll probably get one of those myself xD
Luca thank you for this video, I'm actually going to remove my aftermarket exhaust and put the OEM back on hahaha so great video it's going to me help a lot!
Don't trust those jack stands if you accidentally hit the release handle it will drop on you, always have a backup like a floor jack before going under the car
Hi, great video. However, I noticed that you don't seem to use any exhaust assembly paste at all. Is it not necessary to use it to seal any gaps? I'm not saying that you have done anything incorrect, I'm just making a general comment. You are undoubtedly a good mechanic and i've learnt a lot from your video.
@@Tombrosapien I have always used exhaust paste as well as gaskets to make double sure of no exhaust gases escaping at all. It was the way I was taught to do it 30 years ago and I've always done it that way. Is it done without exhaust paste nowadays then? If so, I would have to assume that the gaskets do their job really well to stop exhaust leakage.
Is this all that's needed to make the car sound like this or do you need to mess around with other things as well? My car sounds way to quiet and I want to make it sound like this at the very least.
Thanks for sharing bro.. cool ride . Had a query. I own a 2009 Honda Civic 1.8.I too wanted an upgrade on my exhaust. i have been to the Tegiwa website. As i am new to mods i am not able to make out my model in the website. its all like EG EF and stuff. please help me out select an Exhaust for my car dude..
Sheikh Saad I have taken a look on the website but it seems like the only sell exhausts for the Type R versions. And if you have a 2009 i would say you own a FN or FD :)
higher flowing exhaust = efficient removal of exhaust from the chamber = improved fuel economy and horsepower. however, the mod is nearly useless without a tune.
+sam hanna We i don't exactly know which exhaust they sell for your car but i would choose a good brand like: Mugen, Skunk2, Tegiwa etc.. I hope this helps
What do you think of this catback? I also have the Tegiwa intake and enjoy the sound of induction and dont want it overpowered by the exhaust sound. I also have to leave the house very earlu in mornings so it really cannot be loud on start up and normal driving, would this be suitable?
It is a perfect catback if you use your car every day and don't want to wake up the entire neighbourhood. It is not too loud and sounds good at higher RPM.
George Sidebotham Just a little in combination with a Tegiwa M intake. Power wise it doesn't justify the costs, fun wise it does! The sound is amazing and it looks good.

Wd 40 or any penatrating oil will help lots. Also work the bolt back and forth if it seems like it might break.

4:10 Christ dude ik it’s on jack stands but don’t lay against the stand with ur head under the wheel u got a death wish
Don't trust those jack stands if you accidentally hit the release handle it will drop on you, always have a backup like a floor jack before going under the car

I’m pretty sure you don’t need paste if you have exhaust gaskets

+Isaac Putman I know right, but it was my daily and i didn't want it to drone.
Are there any good sounding exhausts I can put on a 1997 mirage? Or should I just stick with a fart can??
Anti lag?
What’s the brand on the exhaust??
When you replace a catback exhaust system, the product is designed to keep de the catalytic coverter? or you decided to keep it?
catback means from the cat back. so everything behind the catalytic converter is replaced. cat and forward stays.
would it fit on a 92 prelude
are there any advantages to this, or is this just to make your car louder.
higher flowing exhaust = efficient removal of exhaust from the chamber = improved fuel economy and horsepower. however, the mod is nearly useless without a tune.
@josvani well only makes your car loud but its still slow if it has a stock engine
where did you buy it from
