In September and October I did all my doctor appointments and checkups (found out I have polycystic ovaries 🙃) then I dove head first into fitness and healthy eating in starting in December and now I’m posting on my fitness pages trying to grow while I workout 5-6x a week! Already 35 lbs down and building a little community I’m so excited
Congratulations sis. I love how you decided after finding out about your ovaries, you decided to just take charge of your health and and launch your own fitness journey + glow up 🌹I’m inspired 🌹🌹🌹
Me: "I want to listen to a Jaz video while I get ready for work" *looks at my phone and sees a new Jaz video notification* 😳😳😳😝 I'm DEFINITELY working on everything now. I'm just trying to simply maintain over the summer. The body is being built now. Habits built now. New diet being built now. Sleep schedule, money, relationships, skin, hair, all of it! I'm truly under construction.
I find that if I’m consistent with my fitness I will be consistent with everything else. Sometimes finding that special thing that creates a domino effect in your journey helps. 🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for the prep talk, I've been unemployed since April 2023 and I've missed spending money on beauty treatments and high-end products. But I've that If model products for them, then the price is lower and that's something I can afford. I'm glowing up again and 75 lbs down, I'm working towards 100 lbs.
I so agree with this philosophy! I am focusing on the glow-up in my career and finances this winter. I am currently in a bootcamp getting a UI UX design certification. This video comes right on time and is soooo affirming with for my thoughts and all the things I have been doing.
I’m a licensed beautician, I do nails, brows & lashes, waxing & laser, facial, massage 🩷 I find some people have the mindset of I can do it myself though, firstly it’s not always safe, for example, doing gel at home can easily cause gel allergies entirely, but more so my clients absolutely adore having that 45 minute appointment blocked out where they can’t work, they solely focus on themselves and the treatment and they LOVE it🥰I think it’s so important to have that time for themselves, where they can vent or do whatever they want. 🤍
Nothing you said is wrong. However, in my recent experience it’s been that a lot of places just want to churn out clients and maximize profits. I can do my nails at home, have them last just as long as the salon, have better results with colors/designs then they care to offer and feel extra special getting compliments on work I did. Sometimes people want to feel pretty but don’t have the funds to shell out. Sometimes people don’t want to pay for shit service. Sometimes people don’t have the time to block out because they don’t know how their schedule is going to look (last minute changes, running late on things, etc.) Sometimes people don’t want to wait or be there when it’s crowded. It’s also not so easy to find solo techs. I wish more places took pride in their work to be honest. I’m sure more people would be fine with the increasing cost if the quality was there. And then we wouldn’t need all these DIY’s.
Some people wish they had that money to see a professional for those beauty services, but sometimes money is an issue so In order to maintain self care 💅🏽, you sometimes have to learn things yourself, it might not always be as good as the pros do it for you? But if it's good enough to show a difference, Then sometimes you just do what you gotta do to feel and look a little bit better.
@@Demi1369 couldn’t agree more! I’ve paid a pretty penny for subpar service. Also I would love to spend every 2 weeks on nails but finances and poor services has made me a DIYer.
In my hot girl hibernation, I chose a more invasive route & got a tummy tuck & boob job. Definitely checking out your recommendation of Peachy Post op to keep me snatched
Loved this. I also find this is a great time for spiritual disciplines and rhythms - attending a local church service and weekly Bible study. Great way to meet friends and take friends too!
Definitely agree with everything in this video and I'm currently in my hot girl hibernation even though I wouldn't have known what to call it until this video! I'm currently in therapy dealing with grief from the loss of losing my person a few months ago. One thing I would add in the lifestyle category is self help books along with habit stacking with friends! All of my closest friends still live where I'm from so one thing I did recently was buy two of my good friends the atomic habits book and we read the book together and then talked about implementing some of our takeaways from that book!
Hot Girl Hiberation..... that's me! I started getting TCA chemical peels and facial treatments from a cosmetic dermatologist since December, since I'm not really out in the sun during the winter months. I get them every 6 weeks until May. I also just purchased a red light mask to use daily. Looking forward to seeing whether I get the amazing results I've seen in others. I also started getting laser hair removal in December. Lastly, I do intermittent fasting also and I've just been experimenting with my eating habits and learning about what my body needs nutrition wise. 😊🩵 Thanks for the video Jaz!
hi!! love this for you. my friend that’s a dermatologist told me that red led light(s) makes hyperpigmentation worse on tan-dark skin tones! just an fyi 🫶🏽
@@Beautybyallii7 thank you so much for mentioning this! I truly appreciate it, I will watch for that. I actually read a study yesterday that said BLUE light makes the hyperpigmentation worse, NOT red. We shall soon find out! lol 😊🩵
I really really love your videos they're so motivating, I know you're not a mother currently but id love to see ideas for how you'd work around these things as a single mother with small children who works full time and doesn't actually get child free time, if anyone reading knows any creators that make this kind of content please suggest them cause non free child time and not a lot of spare cash makes some of these things really hard to do
Yes to this message 💗 I am focusing on the glow-up in my career and finance. I am currently finishing my prerequisites for nursing school👩🏽⚕️. Thanks ❤Jazz!! We love you and thanks for hitting on self sabotage! I have been there before and never k ew what it was! Like selling my new build home after living there for 3 years! I regret it! We live and learn! It now I’m in a high paying position and am grateful despite some of the things I see practiced don’t like.

Hi! Im currently an esthi student, just wondering if you have an tips or advice if you don’t mind me asking. 💖
So true, same for us esthies as well. Even though we do this for a living, carving out time for our own appointments is a must ♥️
