So many people saying, God's not real blah blah. That's what you believe, great. Don't be disrespectful about it. It's a movie review. No need for antagonist.
@Boogieman bro no one can say for certain god isn't real what? thats why its a belief. It's been proven jesus was real actually its just a debate wether he was a true prophet or not
Boogieman it’s not about logic because logically speaking you cannot prove or disprove the existence of god. If you try to say you can’t prove a negative, let me stop you: that’s another logical fallacy. Also, a movie can be preachy for atheism just like those God Is Not Dead movies are preachy in the opposite way, something he also pointed out but you were too fucking butt hurt to remember that. Stay in school and brush up on your understanding of logic and philosophy because you want to act like you know what you’re talking about.
It’s funny I’ve met so many more Christians who shove their religion up my ass than I’ve met atheists who harass me about god and this is coming from a jew
Good review. Unlike MOST critics you actually give credit where credit is due and you avoid bias seeing as how this is a movie covering Christian topics. As a Christian I appreciate that. Keep up the good work, Jeremy!
Wow, no preface or disclaimer considering this is a movie about a religious figure and in these times, religion causes a great deal of controversy. Jeremy simply went in and reviewed Son of God like any other movie and he didn't crack any jokes at the expense of the religious undertones that were depicted in the film. No just a solid review, that is very impressive to me.
Wait, so you mean to tell me there are "religious undertones" in a movie titled "Son of God"? Also, Jeremy is Christian, so yeah, he's not gonna shit all over the concept. He's the best movie reviewer on TH-cam. Even if he wasn't Christian, he wouldn't be a dick about this movie. #Integrity
Either way Jeremy was gutsy and smart in my opinion for just jumping into his review like this was a non religious movie that too me deserves some serious respect and I appreciate Jeremy for his decision to do that.
As soon as I saw he reviewed this, I instantly started to fear the comment section. >_> I'm a Christian, and feel this way every time I go on a religious, or religion-related video. I just get really surprised on how much people can accumulate so much hate and anger towards me for believing in God :/ like, seriously calm down; we'll all find out once we die xD
Don't you just hate it when people have read the book and feel the need to tell you? I've even had people come up to me on the street to tell me how awesome the book is. Just enjoy the movie and shut up! God...
Thank you for touching on the whole Jesus race thing. Im not religious, but it annoys me that they try to portray Jesus as this white man with blue eyes, almost blonde hair, and rosy cheeks. Really? He would have looked more like what Israelis and Palestinians look like now. Yes, he would have looked middle eastern.
I really liked this movie. I loved the fact that they told and explained why jesus had to die(acording to the romans anyway). Also i wish the crucifixion scene would have been a little more violent. If they combined Passion of the christ with son of god....THAT would be the ultimate jesus movie. Overall though i really did enjoy it.
As an agnostic myself, I give you great respect for doing this, not just because its a religious movie, but because you did what you're supposed to do and took an unbiased stance and judged it based on how it was as a movie, not like some guy criticizing it because its a christian/catholic movie.
Take a leaf from Jeremy's book guys. Reviewing the movie without feeling the need to have petty religious arguments. It really is incredible how angry people get over someone whose very purpose is to encourage emotional moderation and humility. That accounts for all of you: I do not care what side of the debate you are on.
Good review. At least this guy doesn't bash out on religion like some critics. I mean seriously if some critics are gunna bash Christian movies just cause well...... They're Christian movies, then why do they bother seeing them?
Kain Prime it would be funny if he didn’t die he just passed out and when he woke up in the cave he yelled “those sons of bitches couldn’t check my pulse before burying me”
I'm not a religious guy, but I think this is how Jesus looked: 1: Now, of course, he was Jewish, so basically, make him a Jew. 2: Give him dark skin. Not too dark, but dark enough to where we can say "yeah, he's from the middle east." 3: Bulk him up a bit & make him more muscular, I mean, he WAS a carpenter. If you're building houses, that means you're carrying heavy things, using your arms a lot, so yeah. Of course, he was no Chuck Norris, but don't make him a scrawny white guy with perfect hair. 4: That's another thing, there is NO way Jesus had perfect hair. 2000 years ago, hair brushes & shampoo didn't exist, so they should make Jesus have messed up hair. And, they need to have films about Jesus be in whatever language they spoke at that time. In conclusion, Jesus should be a tan, muscular Jew with messed up hair.
His job wasn't to be a carpenter. He was to be a Rabi. He had SOME carpentry training by his father but it was only if he didn't succeed as a Rabi. Back then if you failed as a Rabi, then you had to fall back with the job that your father had, in Jesus's case Joseph was a Rabi.
i'd be ok if a middle eastern guy, in general, gave a performance. It's not like the bible was super-specific, but for sure it didn't say he came from Europe.
619Daygo Sunny760 The very early depictions of Jesus tend to be much more varied than the conventional depictions. If you look at religious art in the first couple of centuries after Christ, he is very often shown with a dark skin colour. The modern depiction of Jesus was only really established after 600 years, and that image is most likely based on how western Christians saw the world. You can't claim that all Jews are light skinned based on the modern inhabitants of Israel. You do know that many of them are immigrants right? Jews have been living all over the world for thousands of years, mixing up with different ethnic groups. We don't really know what most jews looked like 2000 years ago since very few descriptions survive. Certain studies have indicated that they would've looked more Middle-Eastern or even more African.
"The Miracle Maker" was my favourite as a kid, and still probably is. It's stop-motion with doll-like people which might put some people off, but it's not too shabby. Plus the Jesus figure looks jewish and he's voiced by Ralph Fennis. Yeah, Voldemort himself is the voice of Jesus Christ.
Would you consider yourself to be a good person? How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something, no matter how small, and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God's name in vain/blasphemed, even ‘OMG’? That’s taking the name of the God who gave you life and using it in the place of a cuss word - would you do that with your mother’s name? Have you ever dishonoured your parents? Jesus said whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart. Have you ever looked with lust? Most people probably have broken all 5 of these commandments. I myself have. I’m not judging you but if you have done these things then you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, rebellious adulterer-at-heart by your own admission. That's only 5 of the 10 commandments. God is fully just so he must and will punish every and all sin (which is departure from/rebellion towards God and the conscience) when he judges us. He cannot simply cancel our debt and let us go, or else he would be unjust. If you went into the courtroom and said: ‘Yes Judge, I’ve done these things but I also give money to the Red Cross and volunteer at an old-age home. I try my best to love people’ the judge is not going to take that into consideration. You’ve broken the law; the good you’ve done won’t help at all on the day of judgement. If he judges you by the moral law will you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The answer is Hell. Doesn’t that concern you? But, fortunately, that is not God’s will. He is so loving and merciful, he made a way for you to be forgiven. The Son of God came down as a man, Jesus Christ, and lived a perfect, sinless life, so was the perfect sacrifice. He excruciatingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the FULL debt we owe because of sin; justice is fully done. You and I broke God's law and Jesus paid the fine in his life's blood, being resurrected again 3 days later. That’s why he said “It is finished” on the cross - in other words the debt has been paid. God has the payment ready to go for you. What you need to do is repent (recognising you are a sinner deserving God's punishment, turn to Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Our works can do nothing as by the standard of God’s moral law we fail, but faith in him is enough to save us from all sin - past, present and future! Then though you have grievously offended God, he will forgive you and you will inherit eternal life being reborn in the Holy Spirit when you put your trust in the Lord and saviour. Too, you enter a covenant relationship with God - sonship, and truly I tell you your life will change in his presence. So repent and trust (i.e. Biblical faith), receive the free gift of grace. He redeemed me. God, The King of The Universe, came down as a man. He lived the first 30 years of his life as a poor carpenter then spent the next 3 preaching, healing and saving souls - all the while being persecuted, insulted and hated by his own people - and took the punishment to save our lives. It’s the most amazing love that anyone ever displayed. Christianity’s not just a religion. It's a pure, sweet relationship with God. Because of Jesus, I am now a son of God. He is my dad, and you can be his child too. God loves you. Will you let him come?. . .. . .. . .
That was an awesome review Jeremy!!! I'm surprised you handled a situation having to do with Jesus so well. You were honest and humorous about it!! I was kinda nervous to see the review at first because I wasn't sure if you would keep it real like all of your other reviews, as to not upset Christians. But you delivered and executed it wonderfully !!! I actually only go see movies loyally if you've given it a good review. Love your channel!!!!
A good portion of the mini-series got some stuff wrong from the Bible X'D It was a nice series, but i couldnt help noticing the stuff that was off or missing. Overall, still pretty good tho. I think the story progressively got better as the series dove into Jesus' time and afterwards ^_^
I know for a fact that if I look down in the comments section right now I'm gonna find books worth of arguments between atheists and religious people. Then again even a Tiny Toons video had a religious debate so I shouldn't be surprised. :/
I think you were the only person on youtube that reviewed something bible related and didint bash our faith, my hats off to you Jeremy, thank you for being considerate.
My favorite films about Jesus are easily "The Passion of the Christ" and "The Perfect Stranger", based on David Gregory's book about a lawyer invited to dinner with Christ in the modern day. People complain way too much about the blood and violence in "The Passion", but I think most do so because of Who its happening to. As for the historical and political reason Jesus was crucified, its simple: He claimed outright to be equal with God. He even said, "Abraham wrote of Me; before he was, I AM." That was heresy to the Jews, and insurrection to the Romans. That's why they killed him.
Favorite son of god story? Star Trek 2. A noble dude sacrifices himself for others, dies, and gets resurrected. And he doesn't make people hateful bigots for the following 2000 years, either.
No. That's not true. You got Star Trek fans arguing with other Star Trek fans who the best villain is, best movies is, best scenes, and than there's the Star Trek fans that argue with Star Wars fans about which movie is best.
TheNorth15 Exactly. I mean, seriously, there are people killing, beating each other up, corrupting the constitution in the name of a fictional being and then there are trekies who fight on the internet using Capslock. Very freaking similar.
Superman is more like the Moses story. Moses put in a basket and sent down the river/Superbaby put in a rocket and sent down the space river/ Superbaby raised by a family not knowing his real background till later/ Superbaby being raised by a family not knowing his real background till later.
marquisdesator But the Superman story is about this God-like figure sending his son down to earth to rescue mankind and to lead the way; to provide Hope. Yes, Moses delivered his people, but Moses was an example preparing the way for Jesus down the road. Both good analogies.
If only HBO's Rome had a Jesus season in it, a Jewish darker skinned Jesus that is actually realistic rather than idealized, now that would be interesting.
Do The Passion Of The Christ if you haven't already. I'm curious about your thoughts on it. I left that movie feeling like I do after every season finale of The Walking Dead, in need of great therapy.
I like that they tried to show realism of culture and language at the time. Probably only Jesus movie that tries to feel realistic that way. Only notable flaw is they should be speaking greek and not latin as a way to communicate with jews vs romans at the time
The Last Temptation of Christ & The Passion of the Christ are my favorite Jesus films ever. There's no way this one is going to even surpass of the depth of those two.
Great review Jeremy. I watch this film in April when I do all the Jesus movie reviews. But my Favorite out of all of them is Passion of the Christ so damn Cringe worthy it's amazing what Mel Gibson was able to do.
The Son of God The Second Coming of Jesus Jesus 3: The Last Water Walker Jesus 4 Ever Son of God Jesus VI: Return of the Messiah Son of God 7 Son of God 8: Jesus Meets the Easter Bunny Jesus vs Judas Jesus X Boom Done.
2 Jesus 2 Christ Jesus Christ: Holy Drift The Jesus and The Christ Jesus 5: One final forgivness Christ 6: The end of the suffering Jesus 7: One last miracle Jesus 8: Revelations Christ 9: The Rapture Son of God X: Ascension
I love that movie! My favourite Monty Python film. What I find hilarious (outside of the film), is seeing old news footage over here, of middle Americans protesting, holding placards saying such things as "Monty Python, burn in hell", outside cinemas at the time of its release. I've seen John Cleese being interviewed & stating that if they had bothered to watch the very thing they had chosen to take offence to & condemn, they would have seen that the character of Jesus was, in fact, portrayed with respect & reverence. Blind ignorance just makes people look stupid.
Funny thing is that it really had nothing to do with Jesus and the one time Jesus is shown in the film, there is nothing wrong or controversial about him!
Who the hell watches Jesus/religion movies in general anyway? I have heard so much about religion from school when i was younger that i am sick and bored to the stomach for it. The Greek mythology was probably the best religion stories and we only did them at 4th grade if memory serves right.
Uhh....I do. :) And yeah Greek Mythology was fun too. But take his advice and just watch the miniseries. Its not bad. And there's Ninja Angels. (Pretty much)
They are mainly put out for people overseas. People who can't read the Bible because they're illiterate instead watch Bible movies. As far as portrayals of the events of the Bible, they did an absolutely horrible job. The next pseudo-Bible movie is Noah, and from the trailers we can already see they've rewritten the story to make it more interesting to modern viewers.
Reuven Goldstein Not really. They're more made for Americans who really find the bible boring. They're trying to make the bible more interesting and relatable, and it worked really well with the Passion.
The Last Temptation of the Christ is my favorite movie, because is delivered from the oposite angle, what if Jesus never sacrified for humanity, and was just a normal man with needs and instincts.
I think Jeremy Jahns is a great reviewer, probably one of my favs now. Because he is not biased against religion and will make sure to give a fair, honest review about the quality of the movie itself. Well done Jeremy.
There's a difference between respecting a story and believing in it; the story of Jesus is an interesting and entertaining one, and it's culturally relevant. A lot of people can respect it as a story without thinking of this movie as "historical".
The best Jesus movie is Last Temptation of Christ, I love the fact that it was so sacrilegious that the guy who wrote the book got banned from church that's my kind of movie.
I'm an atheist, and I'd never try to push my views on someone else. America was made and based on religious freedom, that's a huge part of history that makes America the great nation "under God" it is today. I respect the religious. In fact I'm interested in religion and even with my views go to church to learn more about religion. My favorite Jesus movie; Passion of the Christ. Brutally realistic, except they still made Jesus white instead of a Middle Eastern.
Best Jesus movie? Batman Begins. Yes the story of how our lord and savior Bat-Jesus came to be. The Dark Knight-Jesus trilogy as a whole. One truly inspirational story to be told. Nuff said.
lol. I haven't seen this movie yet but I am excited to see it. I really do agree with you about the character of Jesus. As far as being accurate- he wasn't white. I found it interesting that it is true if you do not read the Bible you don't really understand somethings. I am wondering will they ever make a movie that like you said really explains, accurate and gets the passion and love he has for us.
So...are...they...ever gonna be more historically accurate and cast a Middle Eastern Arab actor to play Jesus? Also refer to Jesus by his actual name, I think it's pronounced Yesha or Yeshiv?
An Israeli actor would be the way to go. There is no fundamental difference between Arabians and Israelis, but Jesus was a Jew, not a Palestinian. He should be played by a Jew, or someone with an Israeli background.
The book was better.
I know right :P
Matthew Mark Luke and John
Uh and what's wrong with the movie
Lol
The American Assassin I think you met Mathew mark Luke or John there are all so similar
So many people saying, God's not real blah blah. That's what you believe, great. Don't be disrespectful about it. It's a movie review. No need for antagonist.

TLCBonaparte
In my opinion he is
I think you meant Batman
I know for a fact that if I look down in the comments section right now I'm gonna find books worth of arguments between atheists and religious people. Then again even a Tiny Toons video had a religious debate so I shouldn't be surprised. :/
I think you were the only person on youtube that reviewed something bible related and didint bash our faith, my hats off to you Jeremy, thank you for being considerate.
Life of Brian.
I don't know man. The book's better.
You are 5 days late on that one-- check the top posts.
So you're saying that the book went into more depth than the film?
*****
I love how you have inadvertently implied that God-believers are humorless bores ;P.
It's not magic, it's truth. He died for the salvation of our souls. It's the absolute truth.
"I mean, if you've read the book..." oh jeremy. Never change. xD
WHEN ARE YOU GONNA REVIEW SHERLOCK SERIES 3?! I KEEP COMING BACK TO YOUR CHANNEL EVERYDAY FOR SHERLOCK!!!
Favorite son of god story? Star Trek 2. A noble dude sacrifices himself for others, dies, and gets resurrected. And he doesn't make people hateful bigots for the following 2000 years, either.
The Wrath of Kahn never seizes to impress :-)
Hey man, the bigots just use Jesus as an excuse for their bigotry. Remember what the hospitaller said in Kingdom of heaven?
No. That's not true. You got Star Trek fans arguing with other Star Trek fans who the best villain is, best movies is, best scenes, and than there's the Star Trek fans that argue with Star Wars fans about which movie is best.
Whoa, someone who doesn't know to use a period at the end of a sentence called me an idiot. I am crushed.
TheNorth15 Exactly. I mean, seriously, there are people killing, beating each other up, corrupting the constitution in the name of a fictional being and then there are trekies who fight on the internet using Capslock. Very freaking similar.
Best Jesus' story... does Superman count?
Superman is more like the Moses story. Moses put in a basket and sent down the river/Superbaby put in a rocket and sent down the space river/ Superbaby raised by a family not knowing his real background till later/ Superbaby being raised by a family not knowing his real background till later.
marquisdesator But the Superman story is about this God-like figure sending his son down to earth to rescue mankind and to lead the way; to provide Hope. Yes, Moses delivered his people, but Moses was an example preparing the way for Jesus down the road. Both good analogies.
the lion the witch and the wardrobe where the lion plays jesus
"I think the book was better."
morning morality
and a serious lack of character development
Unreversall Not to mention the amount of Filler in it
If only HBO's Rome had a Jesus season in it, a Jewish darker skinned Jesus that is actually realistic rather than idealized, now that would be interesting.
Do The Passion Of The Christ if you haven't already. I'm curious about your thoughts on it. I left that movie feeling like I do after every season finale of The Walking Dead, in need of great therapy.
It's gore porn
I like that they tried to show realism of culture and language at the time. Probably only Jesus movie that tries to feel realistic that way. Only notable flaw is they should be speaking greek and not latin as a way to communicate with jews vs romans at the time
I can't believe you spoiled that he dies...
The Last Temptation of Christ & The Passion of the Christ are my favorite Jesus films ever. There's no way this one is going to even surpass of the depth of those two.
you should give Tales of the Abyss a shot, if can't figure out who Jesus is supposed to be by the end of the game, i will fill you in.
The Book was better
***** Well God did kill about 25 million people. Religious people loves mass homicide. For being a fiction.
Favorite Jesus movie??? Matrix???
Still waiting for "Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This!" to come out
Haha
Passion of the Christ 2: Judgement Day
There is actually gonna be a 2nd movie. Its gonna be in hell apparently.
Great review Jeremy. I watch this film in April when I do all the Jesus movie reviews. But my Favorite out of all of them is Passion of the Christ so damn Cringe worthy it's amazing what Mel Gibson was able to do.

+TotallyToonsTV Jesus 00God: The Prequel
+TotallyToonsTV Ok guys I got one Jesus Christ: Genesys
Gladiator is my favorite Jeesus movie, yeahhhh that was a party!
Life of Brian is the best Jesus movie.
Ever.
Of all time.
Ahaaaaahhhahahahah that movie was amazing, is amazing.
Exactly! Ahah they never even watched the film, which is as I said amazing.
Funny thing is that it really had nothing to do with Jesus and the one time Jesus is shown in the film, there is nothing wrong or controversial about him!
Exactly. It respectfully portrays Jesus and it's not even about him. :D
(Pretty much)
shut up and just read your bible
They are mainly put out for people overseas. People who can't read the Bible because they're illiterate instead watch Bible movies.
As far as portrayals of the events of the Bible, they did an absolutely horrible job.
The next pseudo-Bible movie is Noah, and from the trailers we can already see they've rewritten the story to make it more interesting to modern viewers.
Reuven Goldstein Not really. They're more made for Americans who really find the bible boring. They're trying to make the bible more interesting and relatable, and it worked really well with the Passion.
lego smith sigh why would i ? its full of hate ,contradictions and bigotry
The actor's name (who plays Jesus) is not a spanish name, it's a portuguese (from Portugal) name... He's Portuguese :-)
***** My bad then ;-)
helfimed That's what you get for being a 'know it all'.
The Last Temptation of the Christ is my favorite movie, because is delivered from the oposite angle, what if Jesus never sacrified for humanity, and was just a normal man with needs and instincts.
You're my favorite reviewer lmao.
Aaaanndd ... here come the religion comments!!
Skywolf Aaaaaand here comes the butthurt Christian comments! Oh wait, they're already here.
Really? I don't see any :^/
Passion of the Christ and last temptation of Christ. As a christian, I say those are the best.
You guys should watch Bible Black.
Irrelevant
NO NO NO I WILL NEVER!
No.......just no.
Alexander Radical
but perfectly required in some ways.
That caught me off guard lol
favorite Jesus movie: Jesus Christ Superstar
CrimsonCeltCherokee yo that movie is sooo freaking amazing
Favorite Jesus story? Definitely Dark City.
I've heard a bit about the book this movie was based on, apparently its pretty popular, but I think jeremy might have spoiled the ending :/
My favorite has to be The Passion of the Christ.
Isn't that everybody's? It is the most popular for a reason. Although, that could be because of the acting.
The Life of Brian will always be the best religious movie of all time
Favorite Jesus move: Jesus of Nazareth.
JEREMY! Review the Batman: Arkham Knight trailer! :D
Meh, my family's forcing me to watch this in theaters but in the end I'm just gonna sneak in to watch The Wind Rises.
do it… it is an amazing movie, i saw it, and it is his best film in every way. it's not my favorite (spirited away) but it is a much better film.
keiichimorisato98
That sad thing is it's not playing in my theater :'(
***** not even in a nearby major city?
I think Jeremy Jahns is a great reviewer, probably one of my favs now. Because he is not biased against religion and will make sure to give a fair, honest review about the quality of the movie itself. Well done Jeremy.
Veggies tales those guys are hilarious
I now want a movie about the Disciples called 'Entourage'....Something I never thought I'd want.
Finally my favorite fantasy story is having another movie.
ahhhhh fuck it, I'll give up on the Sherlock S3 review!
I've met Diogo Morgado personally. A very humble guy. Quite accessible and pleasant.
Life of Brian (Technically it's a Jesus Story....I think)
"Man of Steel" or "The Matrix".
i love how in the mini series satan looked like Obama
No the actor just looks like that. He's played Satan in other films too
AceProductions828, what is the actor's name?
Sebby Nilsen Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni he is like from Morocco i believe
Thanks.
My favorite Jesus movie... uh... hmm... Man of Steel
passion of the christ, for sure.
that movie was so bad.
nobody cares about your opinion.
Mournforthelost96 I do.
I might watch the "Bible" series now.
for what it is, it's actually a really well produced mini series
The Passion Of The Christ
Passion of Christ.
The book was better ;)
I'm an atheist, and I'd never try to push my views on someone else. America was made and based on religious freedom, that's a huge part of history that makes America the great nation "under God" it is today. I respect the religious. In fact I'm interested in religion and even with my views go to church to learn more about religion.
My favorite Jesus movie; Passion of the Christ. Brutally realistic, except they still made Jesus white instead of a Middle Eastern.
Ditto that. Think I love you man.
My favorite Jesus movie? Son of God...
...zilla. Because we all know Godzilla is the one true god.
Best Jesus movie? Batman Begins. Yes the story of how our lord and savior Bat-Jesus came to be. The Dark Knight-Jesus trilogy as a whole. One truly inspirational story to be told. Nuff said.
I wonder if anyone's going to comment and be like "I actually prefer the books"
The book was better than the movie, you know ;-)
The book is filled with plagiarism...
Raidenfenix Okay then where did the original source come from, who wrote it and what year was it written?
Grim Knight Horus, Mithra, Krishna, Dionysus, etc... and this is only Jesus.
Grim Knight
If God doesn't exist then who wrote the Bible?
Atheists: 0
Potato: 1
JazukaiX A random dude who believed Mary.
I like how all reviews is non-biased and how an entertaining review should be.
I know you're already on it, but I want your Arkham Knight review :D
Life of Brian, of course
Jesus is my homeboy.
this is one of the best fantasy movies in 2014 so far,
Well then lets not :)
I really enjoyed this movie, very interesting, funny and sad at times.
Makes you appreciate how much Jesus really did for us.
He didn't exist, though...
Silver Starr *facedesk* Get educated properly kid.
Silver Starr
actually theres proof that a "messias"was known as jesus we just dont know if he had those superpowers n shit
Silver Starr yes he did
Believe what you will.
***** According to the story he rose again and was taken up to heaven and is still there, so "has" was correct rather than "had."
***** Good response. Respect earned
So...are...they...ever gonna be more historically accurate and cast a Middle Eastern Arab actor to play Jesus? Also refer to Jesus by his actual name, I think it's pronounced Yesha or Yeshiv?
It's Yeshua and he was Semitic (more of the brown-ish type of Jews).
An Israeli actor would be the way to go. There is no fundamental difference between Arabians and Israelis, but Jesus was a Jew, not a Palestinian. He should be played by a Jew, or someone with an Israeli background.
The pasion of the christ.. watch it
It could also pronounced Yahwe
WarriorPrinny That is generally related to his father, not himself.
Jesus from the Big Lebowski. THAT was a good story. Eight-year-olds, dude.
+Felix Catora Nobody fucks with the Jesus.
+MaxxxwellC True
