ive been playing fallout shelter and its pretty nice. i havent spent a single cent on it.
I actually enjoyed a few such as 'European War 4: Napoleon' and Double Dragon iphone are great. But unfortunately the entire market is saturated with garbage. Kinda like the low point of a popular gameboy when there were far more terrible games than there weren't playable. Some were good, or great games but the market was just quick cash schemes for many. Mobile gaming does the same, but now with the addition of microtransactions that will eventually crash the entire videogame market.

Guys, Joe missed the worst part. Legendary Deadshot costs $100, not $40. Legendary pack costs 8000 fragments and it says "3 PACKS TO LEGENDARY DEADSHOT". Look at 10:43. It means you've got to buy it 3 times. It's 24000 fragments total. 25000 fragments cost $100 in the shop. Shame that Joe didn't see that annotation for 3 packs needed. His reaction would have been hilarious. Let's top this comment so he could see this.

Depending on the game, I don't necessarily mind the idea of having, say, different packs for a puzzle game or something-it gives me a chance to try the game first and see if I would like it or not-but there's a limit to what I'm willing to put up with. Paying money for extra lives in a Candy Crush clone? Fuck no. Let me play the damn game.

Most of these mobile games are server based so once they shut down that's it, you can never play them again and all the money you put into it (if you were dumb enough to anyway) is GONE

Same thing with modern Games and DLC, the DLC is all server-based, so, once the game gets de-listed (akin to Scott Pilgrim, TMNT Turtles in Time and The Simpsons Arcade) or worse, it's servers shut down: for the former: you can never buy the Game/DLC again or for the latter: you can't play it anymore and all your money you put in it?, it's GONE.

Most these companies that make these games dont make money of real gamers most people will notice how scamy this is or at worse case if they get invested they buy a minimal amount of things , if they need 50 pieces of something they will buy 5 to 10 because they grinded the rest out something along those lines. They make money mostly from around 10% of the people they are called "whales" they spend absurd amount of money on games like this

The Amazing Rayman I play Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and have never paid because almost everything is either poor ass RNG that you can get just by grinding or doing daily activities anyway, or are so overpriced it's insane (talking more than a console game).

Final Fantasy, GTA, and many well known series and other console/PC class games on mobile I get.
Let the casuals take the brunt of feeding greedy devs/publishers who exploit OCD. I don't believe for a second they can't afford to release full paid games.
For those who think this is mobile gaming and it's shit, you are partly right, BUT this is something that is noticeably growing on PC and Consoles as well.

Again this diverting from the real culprit which the nickel and dime model of F2P/Freemium. It's not the platform.
Play PSO2 and use the Tweaker to make the game english. it is the Epitomy of Free to play done right (Cash stuff is 99% cosmetic and even then you can get it enough with Effort... 4 weeks tops playing 1~2 hours per day, if you're really onto something super expensive).
Warframe is the best f2p game i think cause i never spent a dime in it (except the premium skins :-p) and i have pretty much everything in the game.That's what f2p is supposed to be,not 25 fucking dollars for a single character!

There's so much wrong with this that its just ridiculous. First off, Siege is 50 dollars, not 20. Second off, its a godawful game that nobody should buy ever. Even if it wasn't, they're like exact opposites in genre, so that alone is enough reason to play one or the other. Then, to top it all off, Siege sells its characters for real money, and hats for even more real money, so its in no way better than this in the scam department, if anything, its even worse, because its full price up front, and then has micro-transactions, while this game is at least free to play.

Verdict: Boring experience, bland fights, uninteresting powers/abilities and uninspired/uninspiring story.

Thing is, the game's high-end content from what I heard? Based around the fucking strongest characters in the game. You can't be a non-paying player, you are forced to whale for just getting through content.
well most people just reroll for the best start granted not a lot of people have time but when people reroll for vegito or gogeta they are kinda locked in to breeze through everything even with a mediocre team
not for the EU/US Versions. They lowered the chances to get SSR's but in the Japanese Version it's still higher.
And with every Update the are fucking up the game even more. Dokkan Events are almost impossible to complete, even normal Events on Z-Hard are completely unbalanced. On Events the enemies have a ridiculous ammount of defense, HP and deal 40K damage without even using Supermoves. I had a max UR team that counters the enemies colors and still get 15k to 17k damage per hit.
The World Tournament is infested with cheaters. 3 hours after the tournament starts, there are people on the top10 already with over 3 Million points. How is that even possible?

Good story, tons of modes to keep you busy, amazing characters, no pay to win bullshit. It's everything a mobile game should be. With time and effort you'll be just as strong as the top players in the game.

Yea but you don't actually need them. In this game you must grind(or buy) the characters to advance. I haven't played it but I imagine that the "flash currency" is for instant win battles that you've already won , so after 20$ or 20 hours of your life wasted, you can move on to newer levels.

I have to agree with you, but to some extent there's a "fear tactic" associated behind using expensive cosmetics in a competitive game, in that people are more likely to think that a guy with a $1000+ gun is much more skilled than some bloke with stock stuff

Players don't actually tend to judge others' skills based on their looks. Because any halfway competent gamer knows that even the most badass looking character could perform like shit if its player doesn't know what they are doing.
This is actually more true the more a game focuses on payed customization. In a game like, say, Heroes & Generals, where skins are unlocked by experience levels, people are inclined to think that a player with a different colored uniform or a customized weapon might have spent a long time grinding and thus has a lot of actual experience with the game - even though those levels can just be bought with gold. And even a standard gun with no addons can OHK everything short of an armored vehicle, if the user just knows where to aim.
On the other hand, in a game like Champions Online, where the store and the auchtion house are full of outfit unlocks for both real and in-game money, a character could look like a small mech or a supernatural beast and still might only be able to punch enemies, or like an ordinary schoolgirl while being powerful enough to solo legendary bosses.
