Why they weren’t using air belts against thin skinned AA is beyond me. HE is king when dealing with these.
probably wouldnt be too big of a difference bc its only 20 mil so it will be hard to overpressure
@@michael6485 it pens enough to get through trucks and it’s the fragmentation that does the most damage in this instance

I would agree, but currently HE shells on the 20mm are a bit bugged and don't seem to be detonating on a bunch of the USA cannons, like in the Vulcan for instance. Especially noticeable against planes, usually the HE just does nothing, causes no fuel tank explosions. Because of this, the lethality comes from API rounds hitting in the fuel tank and setting fire. This is why most of the time it does literally nothing, and at least you can make it do something with Ground targets belt.

The other day when I was playing, I was using my Chi-La LG. I was driving alongside another tank, and I don't remember if it was a Panzer or something else, but it got shot and exploded. I was apparently so close to it, that the explosion killed me too. So be wary of that fellow Snail goblins
Yesterday I was in a puma and went to help a panther who didn't have fpe and right as I parked beside him his ammo cooked off and blew up both of us, moral of the story is to abandon your teammates

It was a honor to be a part of this video btw I would like to suggest a challenge: at least 5 ww2 UK battleships against one scharnost to simulate the sunk of the Bismarck if it's not balanced than we can add destroyers planes and costaline patrol ships with torpedoes for both nations (Germany and UK)
This was a fun video to watch. I am somewhat surprised how survivable the trucks were compared vs the M61 cannon given the countless times I had been gunned to death in these vehicles by CAS. However it also makes sense given that the F-16 was moving super sonic and accuracy could have been better. Also, for some reason in WT, autocannon rounds do not do the same damage as APHE. I tried it in the hangar, a 40mm HE round into the open top of an L-62 did nothing if it didn’t land a direct hit but a PzGr 39 7,5 cm round would have killed or wounded everyone in the turret if the round fuzes, despite the fact that the 40mm has more filler.
May I suggest a few scenarios?
Coastal vs All ground: The previous two Naval vs Ground engagements were a bloodbath due to the disparity in firepower and armor. However, if ground participants have access to all of their vehicles vs Coastal vessels, it will be a more even fight.
Big cannon planes vs ground targets. Prop planes with guns 50mm or larger only and no bombs or rockets. I would be interested to see how these planes perform against a variety of targets. I would like to see them against any ground vehicle without an auto-cannon or missiles (vehicles with missiles are prohibited from using them), relying mostly on tanks with roof mounted HMGs like the Shermans, M48s, M60s, T-10M, or T-80BVM for example. I would also like to see them vs SPAAs in BRs 1.0-2.7, 3.0-6.7, 7.0-8.7, and 9.0-12.0. If things don’t go well for the aircraft, then planes with 37-45mm guns and/or Jets with 37mm guns or larger (MiG-17, Me 262 A-1/U4, La-200 for example) can be introduced.

It would probably be pretty one sided, as by El Alamein, the British had replaced the terrible cruiser mk 1's and 2pdr Crusaders with 6pdr crusaders, M3 Lee's and Sherman's. Meanwhile, the Germany force was a mix of short and long barrel Pz 3's with afew short barrel Pz 4's in the mix. Air power may have been another story, but I doubt it.
But battle of Hannut was not one sided. No one has won this battle
It was fun participating for my first time, can't wait for next time
you can tell that the f-16 players are American CAS users with there tendency to dive bomb after a couple of kills

Loses within 2 minutes cause side hull armor panels will be blown off by the sheer amount of HEAT-FS being slung at it, then penetrate the hull and kill the turret crew, driver unlikely because of fuel tanks and internal armor walls.

when ammo explodes it has a chance of killing any tank near it depending on how much explosive mass is released
Exactly, this is why you shouldn't try to ammo rack opponents you are next to if in a thin skinned vehicle. I've lost my M42 to ammo racking a Panther at point blank range before and almost lost a Crusader to an SU-152's ammo detonation, lost my TC, gun, and track on the side the SU was on.

I can actually answer this. So the maximum is around 30 to 45 thousand kilometers. Usually the easiest way to know the highest is when you start seeing the planet curving. Combined combustion.
