Recently, the Union Cabinet has approved the introduction of the National Research Foundation Bill, 2023 in the Parliament. It is expected to be tabled in Parliament in the upcoming monsoon session. After the approval of the Parliament, this law will establish an apex body called NRF ie National Research Foundation to provide high-level strategic direction to scientific research in the country. Recently, for the first time, the 'List of Important Minerals' was released by the Ministry of Mines. This list includes 30 such minerals, including lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite, tin and copper, which are essential for the country's economic development and national security.
In other section, Recently ISRO attached Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft with its launch vehicle. The name of this launching vehicle is Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM3). Actually, ISRO has plans to launch Chandrayaan-3 mission from 12 to 19 July.
