Saints' morale was affected by losing the chance of a top two place and their performance against Leeds was more significant than those losses before. They have the quality to go up.

As a Baggies fan being realistic I can’t see us going up.
Obviously I hope I’m wrong but even if we do go up I can’t see us staying up we haven’t got the money to buy Premier level players.
CC is a fine manager but he needs money to buy quality players.
If we do get to Wembley you never know what will happen.
The unpredictability of a Wembley final, which was always part of what we all loved about the FA Cup final, means whoever gets there will have a great chance.
Agreed that if you go up it will be hard to stay in the Premier League with your current squad. if any manager can do it I'd trust Carlos Corberán!

Well i did tell you not to worry - the match was over after NC failed to score ( or get a shot on target ! ) at Carrow rd .
Leeds look like confidence ,ability & fitness is running through the team & after that humiliation look at their best again.
Good Luck at Wembley mate , I don't think it matters who you play & you can start looking forward to meeting up again with your 'Old Friends ' Man United !
class video , carlos corberan is our key asset . but we're lacking that attacking edge off being able to put the ball in the net and southampton have so many individuals who can do that

West Brom fan here , they always give us hope but usually let us down but occasionally, very occasionally to keep us rooted to the club they come up with the goods like the play offs against port vale . Hopefully this year they do it but being an Albion fan not confident.
For me, a Norwich fan, if we don't take a 2 goal lead (or better) to Elland Road, I don't fancy our chances of making the final
Just get the officials that handled the first game of the season against Hull in the first leg then in the replay get your goalie to noble their best forward ,like you did at Hull and you will coast to the final 😂😂😂 ( just my little joke , see you in the championship next season) oh yes good luck 🤞 😊

The difference was Leeds where chasing automatic places and they bottled it , Norwich where already pretty safe in play offs with no hope of automatics ...
But Norwich blew the chance of getting Southampton in last 3 games ....& Southampton were like Leeds - only their poor form started before Leeds !
Ideally the side who finished 3rd goes up - I am not a fan of the play-offs, since they never seem to reward consistency over the season which, after all, is what the league is about - play-offs are simply cup-ties where anything can happen!
There is an easy to make it fairer- the 3rd place team has an automatic bye to the final.
In one off games the 6th place team plays at the 5th place teams home ground. The winner of that match plays away at 4th place team ....the winner of that plays the 3rd place team in the final .
It would mean there's no teams 'coasting' when they know their play off place is secure.
And for example it would be 'unfair' if 6th place Norwich were promoted in place of Leeds who are many points better ...but if Norwich had won 2 away games against better teams & then won the final against a fully rested 3rd place team it would be 'a fitting test ' I think ...
I think you've got a good chance of getting past Norwich mate. I think when it comes to play-offs the form, head to heads, stats from previous play-offs and whether your manager has managed or played in previous play-offs all goes out the window.
On paper we've got the two best squads in the play-offs by a mile, it should be Saints v Leeds in the final and I reckon it will be, if that happens it's a complete 50/50, the game at Elland Road means nothing at that point.
It would be nice to have both Norwich and Ipswich in premier league

Farkes been sussed out, had a mid season bounce coupled with a few decent wins here and there .. but he’s easy to work out has no plan b doesn’t give any one else real game time and just reverts to a 4321 side to side passing , in my honest opinion I think Norwich will beat Leeds .. looks like he’s lost the dressing room also players aren’t motivated mentally or physically by him no more wich is scary 😦 I see a Norwich Southampton final

Even though I'm an N C supporter , I don't think you can ignore how many points clear of City ( over the season Leeds ARE a better team) Watching this vlog reminds me of 2002 play offs where 3rd placed Wolves missed out on promotion & played Norwich in 6th ...& after losing 3-1 at Norwich, it felt like the Wolves fans had 'given up' on their team for the home leg...I don't think Leeds fans would do that in a similar situation .

There were very few supporters at NC that wanted him to go - especially as the replacement 'A N-other manager' failed & were only just looking a bit more stable now .
If you check the NC management from around 15 - 10 years back they were all considered 'real decisions' ,not just 'whose available , now? ! .
Farke, Lambert , Alex Neal - not well known or predictable names , but took us from 3rd tier to Premiership 'yo-yo' team .
I think b4 season most Leeds fans would have taken 17 points above 6th place .
Just no one predicted the rise of Ipswich.
& being a 'Big / ex-prem' team is no guarantee, look at Sunderland ,Watford , Sheffield utd or wed ,Stoke , Birmingham? , Derby?
My prediction as a Leeds fan I only see Norwich City going up.

As a Norwich supporter I feel Leeds are 'favourites' in the game ....they outplayed NC when coming back from 2-0 down to win at Carrow rd & also having the 2nd leg at a noisy Elland rd may be important .
But like you say no one is really standing out , but If I had to call it I'd say 'West Brom for promotion'...

Agree but the games turn, we was due a bad run after so many wins, Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester done the same after big runs. Agree we may lose but hoping the run ends

the only reason why I back Leeds United (I am a fan) home advantage 2nd leg! absolutely we may possibly lose the first leg however if the deficit isn’t huge & only by a goal ! then we for sure have every opportunity to win at home & if we view Norwich away record we are fully favorable.

Southampton to beat West Brom, Norwich to beat Leeds, then Southampton to beat Norwich. They have recovered from their exhausting run of games and the mental drop of ending their 25 unbeaten games run.
Well now DD , I told you to not be down on your team - we (NC) are going to a packed Elland Rd with only 1 fittish forward a half-fit Johnny Rowe & the other players not chipping in much in the last month. I would have thought NC needed to take a 2 goal advantage to Yorkshire ..hopefully a cooler evening may help the game flow a bit better than sundays- for all NCs huff n puff in the first half Leeds looked comfortable & a tired looking NC could have been there for the taking , but I think Leeds knew a draw is a good result, so kept tiring NC out & made sure there were no mistakes at the back..
So I should think you've got yer route to Wembley sorted ? !
Your optimism for Leeds still remains higher than mine. Ive seen us bottle it at Elland Road on a few occasions!

watching it you wouldn't have guessed Leeds had the end of season jitters ,they looked so assured ....& you could tell from the mood of Leeds fans at the end - a lot of 'em would have been a bit apprehensive , but the feeling 'we're back on track now' was clear. ..

As a Leeds fan myself unless we win at Carrow Rd Norwich will knock us out as too much pressure at home and young squad won't deal with it like they have shown. For me though I have Saints to beat Norwich in final

Little chance at all for Leeds to make any progress and will have a major challenge to be mid table next year, too much to do with loosing players, financial mess and new manger required.
I actually fancy Norwich ,to do this ,and coming from an Ipswich fan ,is hard for me to say

I think I don’t know I have watched Leeds before Leeds have got some good attacking players as well. I think it will be 50-50. Leicester 17 points clear, Southampton 20 game unbeaten etc, Leeds unbeaten all of 2024 until Blackburn. Can go anyway. Leeds fan and don’t have faith but if the games turn and we play our best I think we win? If not we lose to Norwich

Leeds had their winning streak. Minus that, they’ve not been that impressive. Norwich has Sargent and Sara. Leeds has Summerville and Piroe. Big advantage to Norwich. Gunn is superior to Melisr. I agree. Norwich over Leeds.

good video - but im sorry southampton are way better than leeds much better squad through out the spine and on the bench. saints had to let go multiple players at the end of last season we didnt keep them JWP being one. there is only one player that would get into saints team from leeds and thats summerville. saints unfortunatley have lost the keeper for 9 months and suart armstrong who would be like 5 players for leeds. all the leeds podcasts are more concerned over the last weeks about us and not there team. remember saints went on unbeaten 22 championship run and 27 games overall. farke will fail

Norwich took 45k last time at Wembley, West Brom have a smaller fan base, also West Brom are one of the most average teams to visit Carrow Road, it was an easy win tbf

From a canaries fan . Its a Southampton v Leeds final for me and Southampton to win in the final . Norwich have been so inconsistent all season and Leeds are a bag of nerves towards the end of the season .WBA are a team that go quietly about there business , but Southampton have a bit too much in attack against all the other teams .
