great video and i enjoyed it ( i also have this tent).....but.one thing....... you were sleeping with your head in the foot place...and your feet in the head place....aka......the wrong way round ! ;-)

Thanks for the comment glad you enjoyed it.. i honestly thought hmm nah.. nobody will notice i slept the wrong way round in the tent.. originally i set my gear out with the sleeping bag the tight way round.. only problem once i got laid down was id realised due to setting up on a slight slope on the hill i had set up with my so as the head area was on the downhill side of the slope..so decided to chuck my gear around the other way so my head was uphill n feet facing downhill.. good spot though lad 😎👍👍
;-) i actually have this tent, and the inner tent fits peftectly into the outer of my north ridge col-1 which has only half the sleeping space of the berghaus, so i can mix 'n match to my hearts content, that wider area of the inner tent is very good though, it allows some "sprawl" space when sleeping which the Col-1 doesnt.
Matt Last the col 1 looks almost the same design as the berghaus 3.1 what made you get a col 1 ? Just out of curiosity.. i must admit i do like the space you get in the one man berghaus . I was only used to using my bivvi..very little space.. only other tents i have are 3 man or bigger. Not much use for solo camping. Lol..
the col-1 was my first tent, when i saw the internal layout of the 3.1 i noticed extra sleeping room due to the diagonal line, effectively halving the porch area and using it as extra sleeping space, however i dont like the ventilation of the 3.1, it seems better with my col-1, i then noticed that the attatchment points for the inner tent are in the same places on both tents.... hence.....inner from 3.1 goes into the outer of the col-1 = more sleeping space with good ventilation
Matt Last fair play.. i get what your saying.. so taking really getting the best of both there. I know what you mean with the ventilation holes on the 3.1 they dont seem to open up as much as id like them too.. but for my first use i didnt have any condensation issues.. the reason i went for the 3.1 was for the same reason..i really liked the design.. with the way the inner tapered allowing space for storage etc but giving enough space inside..(even though i slept in the foot area wrong way round ) looking foward to more use from this tent and cant wait to get back and out on another camp..
