Amazing video, thanks! Do you know when i turn on embed LUT file it has to record video with my custom LUT. But actually when i play a video on my laptop it plays without embed LUT.
Thank you! As far as I've seen Embed LUT file only embeds the data into the metadata so you can see what LUT you used in post but it won't actually burn it into your footage.
I’m planning to rent one of these, and I won’t have long enough to figure out all of its complexities. I’m planning on getting footage of a lake at night (hopefully with a full moon in the shot). With regard to the aperture setting, ISO setting, and shutter speed, what would you recommend for crystal clear footage with no grain and the sharpest possible focus for everything in the frame? Also, if you set all the settings to exactly the way you want them, will it stay on those settings if you turn the camera off/change out the battery/change the SD card/etc? Thank you. :)
Settings will stay regardless of what you do unless you reset them manually. I suggest grabbing an aperture of 2.8 or wider if possible and not shooting at night but shooting at blue hour. It will look much better when color graded afterwards than if you shoot at night. If you're shooting it at 24fps grab 1/48 shutter speed and put the ISO between 12800 and 20000 (higher ISO than 12800 is okay if your image becomes more overexposed since it'll yield less noise when made darker in post). Try and overexpose it a little since it's much better to make it darker in post than shooting in the dark, hence shooting at blue hour instead of the middle of the night. ISO: 12800 ≥, Shutter: 1/48, Aperture: ≤ f/2.8
No problem, if you want to see a video on this you can search for "day for night filming/color grading" but I would still recommend doing it during blue hour and not actual daytime for your needs. 🙌
@@franciskoivoguiofficiel2712 I recommend updating the firmware to version 6 and see if it appears. If not you can change any PP to slog3 since they are all customizable anyways.
If you're using S-log and it's noisy you are under exposing your footage. You need to try and expose it as bright as you can without clipping the highlights.
@NadeEgo You will have to switch the region of your camera from PAL to NTSC to get 24/60/120 fps. This is found under the little globe area of the menu (I think).
In 2021 I still used the Sony A7siii instead of the Sony FX3 so I can't give you an answer. Although it's virtually the same but without the Cine Line features obviously.
@@edouhoekie Panasonic had it in 2015. This is why I don’t buy Sony. More money for less features. The S5II has recording straight to an SSD without a recorder. Not even the FX9 has that.
@goodgremlinmedia2757 Has been my complaint for ages, I've been considering switching to BM or Panasonic but so far the image is just not "it" yet for me. But I have a feeling the s1h Mark ii might be what I want it to be when it comes.

It's a known issue with the update sadly 🥲
I need serious help, no matter what I do my video is noisy and doesn’t come out like your footage

How do you get 120fps
You mean instead of 100fps or do you mean how do you select it instead of 24 or 60?
@@edouhoekie instead of 100fps
@@edouhoekie how do you select it. I only can see 50 and 100 fps

Whats the name of the second song
I honestly have no clue, I just grabbed songs from Artlist and I don't have the project folder anymore.
@@edouhoekie suits to this tutorial, feel peace! Thanks!
How are settings for 2024 different from 2023??
There is no difference yet since the new update is coming in September. But te 2024 in the title is a power/keyword for SEO purposes.

No shutter angles in a cinema camera that costs over $3000? Are you kidding me Sony?!!!

I'm sorry I didn't quite get what you meant here 😅
Too fast
I tend to go over things quite quickly, but you can always put the video in 0.75 or 0.50x or just pause it when setting up the camera.
shaky voice.
Recorded this in a very depressing period of my life, but wanted to keep the uploads going so yeah 🫣
